Finally someone shows the process from start finish. Thank you
So this is one of my fav ideas. Straight to the point without 10 mins of talking. It’s turned out awesome. I just tried it and it’s dryin now. Finger crossed.
Yay!!
I agree! I really do appreciate all the people who make videos that help me learn...but man it annoys me when someone sits there and let’s you stare at a product while they over explain what it is and why they use it. I usually get bored and go to the next video. I could watch vids like this all day!
@@oscar-gaming597 Right me too. They will spend 15 mins talking in a 25 min video then the rest of the time we’re trying to figure out how they even made the tumbler. 🙄
@@buteful25 p
You are so right. I hate that extra talking so annoying
This is the most basic instructional tutorial I have found. I can’t wait to make my first one.
Absolutely the best tutorial I’ve seen . I appreciate it so much!! You are an excellent teacher!🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺
Glad it was helpful!
Jeez! I got more great tips off this vid than I have from other channels that post 30 min vids! Thank you for going into detail about it!
I’m so glad!
I agree. I just sent it to my wife and said the same thing! Lol nothing worse than sitting through a half hour video that could’ve been edited to 5 minutes.
For people like me who forget certain facts inbetween rambling this is a god send 💜
I watched your tutorial and figured I would take the leap and try one of these tumblers! I went to Michael's and got a spinner some resin and glitter and made a diet coke inspired tumbler for my sister for her birthday!! I love how it turned out and you gave me the confidence I needed to try!! Thank you. She is going to freak!!
That makes me so happy!!!
Thank you for the slow and easy to follow tutorial! I think I'm finally confident enough to try my first one!
So glad you liked it! Good luck 💕
Thanks. Super simple and easy to follow. Can’t wait to dive in to making tumblers. 💜
Thank you for the quick tutorial. Short and to the point was exactly what I was looking for.
This video has been so helpful as I finally attempted my first tumbler! Second layer of epoxy is spinning now but I’ve come back to this video multiple times and it’s been really helpful!, Thank you for sharing!
❤your video quick and helpful thank you
My name is Steven Rogers I am your favorite biggest fan in your stainless steel double wall water tumbler cup that is nice I like it so much you are so talented
Thank you!
I normally do wine glasses but will be giving the tumblers a try, love how this turned out!
Yay!
Great info before trying my first cup! You answered some questions that I had but that others didn’t include in their videos!
Glad it was helpful!
Wonderful video. Really want to do these cups. Your voice is very easy to listen to and you get right to it. TFS. ❤️
Aww thank you so much for saying that!
Wow! Straightforward instructions. 🙌🙌 Thank you for sharing. 👍
Glad it was helpful!
Great tutorial. Very to the point.
Glad you liked it!
Great tutorial! Short and very informative. I'm excited to give it a try.
I’m so glad! Good luck!
Thank you for this simple tutorial, very helpful.
So glad you liked it!
This is such a great tutorial! I'm a beginner so could you tell me how to do the decal? Did you use a cricut? I'll browse your channel for other videos! Thank you !!!
Great video! Very well done! I may try this!
I jot only love that it was easy to understand, but you also included a written instructions for us. Thanks so much. I used to take to seal the top and bottom. When do I take the tape off, do you know? The glitter is on and it's on the turner. I've done the second the coat of glitter.
Great job. Ty for sharing with us!!!!!
You are so welcome!
If I wanted to add vinyl to the cup would I wait until it dries the first full 12 hrs then add another layer of epoxy?
Thank you for this video it was so helpful and thorough.
Yes!
I hate that I am a year late, but thank you so much for sharing
Me too!
Wow you’re video is to the point !! ❤️ it!!!
Glad you think so!
So wait you let the glitter layer dry first then add the 10mls of epoxy right... Also thank you for telling us about the fumes I have not seen or heard anyone else disclose that info
Love this!
Great video and extremely helpful! I saw the link for the sanding blocks you used and was wondering which grade you used for preparing the cup and after the epoxy is dried?
What would you have used if you wanted it a different color lets say green??
I feel way more confident now making my own cup! where did yo get your heat gun and sander?
Thank you for sharing this video. Very well edited. I will be attempting this technique today 😀
Once the first coat of epoxy with glitter has cured is the surface smooth enough for a decal?
Usually it takes two coats and sanding for it to be smooth enough :)
Loved the video! But i was waiting for the coke sign to be put on the tumbler :(
I have same epoxy and spinner but I have the not two spinner. is there way clean dry glitter at bottom
Is a heat gun needed? Just bought most of the supplies and going to test it all out this weekend :) thanks for the video
It definitely helps! It gets the air bubbles out of the epoxy
How do you know how much resin you use? Is there like an easy cheat sheet?
I just measure it in measuring cups :)
Would you be able to use the heat from a hair dryer if you don’t have the heat gadget like you?
Awesome video!!!! Where did you get your Turner?
im doing my first one for my wife, and was wondering if the first coat of epoxy, that you put the glitter on, should dry first before adding final coat. thx
Can you tell me what spray concealer you would use for a different color?
Can you tell me what mask and where to buy? My mom and I are fixing to do cups but smells make her sick.
So i tried making my own vinyl on a cup resin cup and well some spots especially wjere the vinyl is i can like rub my nail on it and it chips off. Why? Would it be ok to second dome it or would it be too bulky? Help?
Hi just checking if you can rhinestone a tumbler after these steps?
I *think* you would put the rhinestones on the final layer of epoxy
Hello, love the video! If I’m just using vinyl and no glitter, do I still need to let it spin for 24 hours?
Yes!
Do you have to sand the tumblers before use? What grade sanding paper do you use for that?
Very clear instructions thank you. Can I ask, what is the minimum time you need to keep the tumbler moving, 12 hrs seems quite a lot 🦆💕
Definitely do the 12 hours, if you don’t (and it’s not spinning) it’ll not be even on the cup and it’ll drip off of it
Do you have to sand it first or can it go without it?
I’ve seen others not sand, but I always did
How can I get one of those machines that u have to hold and turn the cup I want one
Where do you buy the cup tumber
I wanted to see the diet coke being done 😢 Great video
So sorry, I didn't want to get in trouble for copyright issues! Have to be careful about things like that when making these tumblers
Where do you buy your epoxy from? Great straight to the point video! Any suggestions on a cup turner?
I got my epoxy and turner from Amazon!
What kind of mask do you use?
When I make epoxy glitter tumblers. The glitter seems really patchy. Is it normal to do more than one coat? Would it be better for me to use modge podge or epoxy to adhere the glitter?
If it's really patchy its usually because you're using too much epoxy on the first layer, it just needs to be a thin layer to adhere the glitter
And after you applied the water slide or vinyl do you apply another coat of epoxy ?
Yes!
I couldn't find vinyl cups as you mentioned is there another way. how could you make these dish washer proof?
For a second coat you have to sand it first ?
I do!
I love this video ! 😍😍😍 but I had a question about the alcohol do you use alcohol on yours ?
I did after sanding 😊 but be sure to dry completely
Where did you get your mask?
Instead of a heat gun, can I use a hair dryer?
New subbie here good deal great video question what is the machine you are using that spin the cup
What sealant do you recommend for a cup with more then one color glitter?
Just make sure the epoxy is dried well and spray any clear sealant
Love it
Glad you do!
Hello there great video and super informative! How much epoxy do you use after you put your vinyl in the cup?
Just a small amount like 3mL
Where can I find an appropriate mask? Enjoyed this video
Amazon
Whatever mask you find, just be sure that it filters VOC's!
can you share the link to where you got your mask at please?
How do you add a name to a epoxy glitter cup
I was waiting for the vinyl and final result
All you need to do is lay the vinyl and put 20ml total of epoxy and you’re good to go.
I didn’t post the final cup because of copyright issues 😊
How long should i wait to add glitter after the first layer of epoxy?
Let it spin for 10-15 secs and even out and you can glitter it.
Is there to cure the chemical faster?
Unfortunately there isn’t
Going to try tomorrow with a can kooze or beer cooler, i will let you know
Oh awesome!
Is this cup a sublimation cup?
No!
For the over vinyl layer 20 mils total or 20 of each ?
20ml total :)
Do we have to use a heat gun? Could I use a hair dryer?
It's definitely worth a try!
love this!! which sander grit did you use to prep the tumbler?
I used sanding blocks from Amazon!
amzn.to/3rAiMza
@@NaturallyKait perf, these are the same ones i ordered; thank you!
Which size sand did you use to sand it?
I don’t remember I’m so sorry but it was one of the finer blocks
Awesome! Where do you get the spinner thing?
I got mine on amazon :)
Thank you so much for this video. Some of the items listed in the description box are sold out on amazon. Can I purchase these same supplies at hobby lobby, michaels or joanns?
Yes!
What do you use for spray sealer when you're working on projects that do require it?
I used krylon clear sealer :)
What kind of sealant should I use between the the glitter layer and second layer of epoxy?
Any type of clear spray works
Thanks for sharing where we could find the products. Can you share info about the mask you use? Thank you.
All I can recommend is a mask that filters out VOC's!
Are these heavier once adding epoxy and glitter they look thick
Not by much 😊
What type of mask do you use?
I don't like the mask that I used, but try to find something that filters out VOC's
So did you not sand it first ? I’m new at it and some ppl sand and paint white .
Yes I did!
Is it ok to use hair dryer instead of hot air blower?
I’m honestly not sure!
Do you have the 2nd part that shows you finishing the cup?
This cup is finished, I didn't show the layers with the "diet coke" label because I don't wanna get in trouble for copyright infringement
I just made one but for some reason the epoxy has made a rim at the bottom of the cup. Not the bottom that you sit it on, but the botttom where you hold it. How do I prevent that from happening?
That usually means that your turner isn’t level!
😍 YEEEEE
Do you tape the insides of the cup so no epoxy gets in the inside rim??
I don't and I've never had a problem
What do you to spray seal it
I used rustoleum clear spray
Awesome video and great tutorial !
Glad you liked it!
@@NaturallyKait I’m doing quite a few of them and I’m learning as I go. They are selling like crazy. Just bought a sublimation printer so I’m excited to start with it
@@tightr1 Oh that's so good!!
Hi , I really want to start making these beautiful tumblers . Where do I start?
I just researched, watched a bunch of youtube videos and joined a group on facebook where people talk about making them :)
Where did u get ur turner
Amazon!
With multiple colors , how long do you allow the tumbler to spin before sealing ? Also, what type of sealer?
About 12 hours! And I used rustoleum 2x clear
Do you sand before or after the sealer?
When I sand my glitter tumbler before adding my decal my glitter seems to get ruined . I don’t know why
That probably means your epoxy wasn’t thick enough, try doing a thicker layer
What would you spray it with in between colors
You can use any kind of clear matte sealer to make sure the glitter doesn't move. I use rustoleum 2x clear
Where you get that scrub to sand the cups with??
Amazon!
Do you sand it before doing the process
Yes!
Do u have a link to the mask u wear i can set up near a window but dont want pay arm and leg for a mask this just to make tumblers for me and gifts
I don't unfortunately. Just make sure that whatever mask you go with filters out 'volatile organic compounds'
Is your heat gun still holding up? Looking to buy one and saw a review on Amazon saying theirs stopped working.
Yes!
What did you use to sand down the glitter?
I used sanding blocks from amazon.
