    Andrew, I’m grateful for your information it is been most helpful for me today. Earlier, I conducted two hours of research on the vagus nerve. Gargling, singing, humming, breathing out longer than usual. Have all helped greatly. However, after applying slight pressure, as well as massaging my vagus nerve via ear as you showed, has helped my digestive system. More specifically, my small intestine now work, meals are now being properly digested. So, I wanna thank you for sharing this most important information. Thank you have a great day!

    I've been reading and researching the function of the vagus nerve and its effect on chronic anxiety and panic. All authors say singing, exercise, even gargling stimulates this extremely important nerve. Good vagal tone is essential for our bodies to work properly. This gentleman is very well schooled in the subject and in general human anatomy. Smart man.

    Your braiding comment was a eureka moment for me. I immediately thought of the general mental and physical wellness experienced in pre-Columbian and African cultures that braid hair regularly with a lot of intricacies. Clearly, there is a physiological component to health in combining what is thought of as cultural tradition with emotional and biochemical health. As these indigenous cultures have left the traditions behind they are losing these parts of their own mental health and wellbeing.

    Hey Andrew, this is EXACTLY what I've been searching for for the last few months. I'm a singer and am gaining awareness of "what I do so I can do what I want". I didn't know that I was "stopping my air" or more specifically constricting my throat muscles when going up into higher notes. I'm working with a teacher who is giving me great info and raising my awareness but i was confused about what was causing me to tighten my throat. Getting to the core of what's going on. I'm digesting the info in this video slowly and checking out your suggested activities. Work in progress - just wanted to say I'm so excited to find more info regarding what is going on and how to work with it. Forward head posture has also been a thing for me, I've understood that that is happening primarily because my sternum is slightly sunk in... and gets more intense when I sing and get activated about not being able to do something in whatever I'm singing. Will keep you posted! Do you also have a website and work online with singers? Ciao for now, Nicky :)

      Look into Morley Robbins. Anxiety is a classic example of magnesium and bio-copper deficiency, and toxic metallic iron filing overload in the tissues where it is not measured. Dr. Rick Malter covers the psychological side of this condition. He calls it "copper toxic" because the non-bio-copper can be toxic, and it.occurs along with iron overload.
      My view is that this toxic state overstimulates the autonomic (fight/flight) nervous system and drains it. Over time, this can lead to a crash, IMHO.

      @wellnesspathforme6236 3 роки тому +3

      @@onetime7408 Thanks for being receptive! My friends ignore my references!!! lol. Here are some more suggestions that I think are significant:
      1. Set up a cheap infrared saunas system. You only need two 250W red lamps from the hardware store and two corded reflectors. Make sure there are "guards" preventing you from touching those bulbs when hot, though. Get a short stool to sit on and build an insulated fort. Aim those reflectors at you organs and rotate to get all sides. Search "Nutrition Balancing Sauna Therapy" for more details.
      2. Accept reality, and accept doing the best you can. So many people burn energy fighting what is real, AND NOBODY EVER WINS, THEY ALL JUST LOSE. You can't fight reality, you can just intelligently avoid or adapt to various toxicities.
      3. Learn the Zone Diet to keep you insulin from spiking and to bring your AA/EPA ratio out of pro-inflammatory ranges. It will make sense once you read up on it. The key here, though, is to avoid fortified iron filings and to eat lots of grass fed/finished organ meats from humanely raised cows. I believe the best anti-inflammatory diet approach is a synergy between Morley's diet and the Zone Diet, coupled with a few extras.
      4. Search "Rhonda Patrick broccoli sprouts.". Listen to her. Sulforaphane apparently cleans toxic iron out of the liver in a relatively safe way. Start growing an ingesting broccoli sprouts on the regular.
      5. Prioritize denutrification and detoxification as a top level goal, and know you control this. It will take time, but you are now on a much better track to help yourself and others.
      You are NOT alone. These symptoms are engineered to occur via the denutrification and toxification agenda underlying the standard diets in most Western countries.

I will look up each suggestion...I agree with what you say though, apparently an apple in the 1950's had 70% more nutrients than an apple now. I guess that would link to a magnesium deficiency. I have so really sore spots on the back on my head that are very painful to touch. I have had them on and off for years but now i have them behind my ears too and my tinnitus gets bad at times but better at times too. When I put my finger in my right ear and open and close my mouth it feels like there is bone protruding into my hear and then when I open and pull my finger out when I close my mouth its like a loud ringing for a second. Any ideas why that happens.

    Thank you so very much. Absolutely incredible. Dreadful migraines, exhaustion, gut issues, food intolerances, depression and Cptsd. Found out I have Cervical Dysfunction probably from extreme emotional trauma and abuse from my family of origin. Your insight is wonderful.

    Sounds like an awesome video, could help a lot of people probably. Please please, can you actually use your words to describe the parts of the ear and face etc. because as a blind person, I don’t know what part of the ear, body you are pointing or gesturing at in the visual spectrum, I know us blind folks are the last minority, but please, practice thinking outside of the visual spectrum! Thank you and I look forward to an update of this video…

    Is everyone like him and can immediately notice differences? I might notice one saliva change in the entire practice and perhaps that was just random.

    • @wecallitgrace
      @wecallitgrace 3 роки тому +1

      No, I noticed no difference in saliva at all. It's the first time I've ever tried it though, so perhaps that comes with practice!

    • @ColorJoyLynnH

      I think for me, it took a while to learn how the differences feel to me. recognizing the feelings took time. Also, I think we get better at doing it for our self once we’ve done it enough. We know which direction and in how much intensity. Don’t give it up, and don’t think you’re going to understand it the first day. All I knew was that when I did my first Vegas nerve exercise, but I felt as relieved as when noticing that something that had startled me was safe. Just feeling that relief in my chest cavity kept me going.

    This is the best Vagus Nerve boost video I have seen…and I have done a lot of research. This stuff works for me. I have Gastroparesis and intestinal/colon paralysis from Vagus Nerve problems, secondary to MS. Since my entire GI tract is stopped, only a PICC line could bring nutrition and it blocked with blood clots in 6 days. I was put on palliative care. I am using your tools. From the start I got immediate results. I am a classically trained mezzo soprano also, and the singing part of the Vagus Nerve reset resonates with me. Thank you.

    • @Rob__James

      So are you saying these techniques has helped your gastroparesis a lot? Can you elaborate?

      What helped me the most was going to a trained, certified therapeutic massage therapist who knew reflexology. She uses reflexology to stimulate the Vagus Nerve using the points on the feet. I am 70% improved. I also use the tools on the video attached to these comments.
