Passed my DAS in December 23. I bought this bike brand new for my first bike. Did my DAS on the Yamaya NT07I’m 6ft 2 19 stone. This bike is very comfortable, sounds great, plenty of torque and fast enough for me as a new rider. I’ve done 1300 miles and loving it. Approximately £20 to fill her up. Brand new bike, heated grips, wing deflection, main stand, black smoked screen and 12v attachment for £7,200. Great on the motorways, around town and twisty roads. It’s very comfortable and I did my first big ride from Manchester to Whitby in one go and felt fine doing it on this bike. If you are new to riding or experienced rider this is a great bike. It’s not going to pull your arms out your socket but personally I prefer comfort to speed. The tft screen is fantastic in all weather conditions. Very smooth clutch and bright led lights all around. Double disk break that gives you that confidence in breaking. Overall great bike, fun and feels well balanced on all roads. Can’t wait for spring /summer..
Hello from India! I have booked this in White way back in Jan! Delivery will be in May. Will be test riding it tomorrow! Can't wait! Thanks for the vote of confidence!

The wife and I have the 2019 cb500x very happy do it all bike commute to work touring in Tasmania my crash bars will probably fit right on this bike just needs a centre stand and some luggage. Job done.
Hi, How did you find getting your foot under the gear lever? I wear TCX hero boots that have quite a deep sole/tread with a heel ( i. e. Not flat sole) and found it difficult to get my toes under the lever to up shift.?
I sold my Triump 900 Rally Pro it was a disaster of a bike so i have now ordered the Honda 500 NX hope it is better :=) And the Honda would be in my hands in maybe ca 2 weeks from today
Fingers crossed, they all make the occasional Friday bike! Good thing is that the NX is fairy old tech.. Not overcomplicated with faff you don't need.....thanks for watching
Almost certainly, however, they key work is almost! Google the part numbers for the old bike and compare them to the new. There's several Honda bike parts type websites out there.
I just love the Pommy reviews on bikes and would've bought many a bike but living here in Australia, i need to get back to reality of a big bike that turns and punches out the Klm's.... Love Honda but next up is the Aprilia Tuareg 660 for something smaller and different...
Thanks for watching...Purple Panda in the helmet and DJI mic1 for walk rounds and intros......I am very impressed with the DJI mic1, works well even in wind.
@@theloftybiker3090 Seems the cable for Purple Panda is about 150cm, how do you fit the cable in the helmet? :) I had a microphone which had a good quality but I always had issue with the cable.
@@Heyletsfindout yes all Levalier mics are the same.....the cable is tucked up within the helmet liner. Never really had a problem. I have 2 helmets set up, a Scorpion and Xlite...probably say Scorpion has the best sound....vents taped off of course.
I do like lofty's reviews they are very informative I would like his opinion on what this and most of the the other bikes he reviews are like on longer say around 30 mile runs on motorways and what they woul dbe like to ride if you were to venture over a 70 a bit has the bike got anything left if you are stretching 70. Don't forget you are doing about 70 when your speedo says 75. I'd love to know what else he has in that back pack he always seems to wear, apart from the tripod.
@@socairnone5550 we don't actually have a motorway in Cornwall, only the A30 and A39 which are dual carriageways. These 2 roads are heavily Policed and so is UA-cam!....most of the new bikes released lately have been small upto 800cc, not many with a screen either. None really high speed motorway Cruisers........(sorry I really do dislike motorways and go out of my way to avoid them😉) As for my Kriega back pack...cameras, mics, batteries, mounts and tripod.....thanks for watching
@@theloftybiker3090 Thanks for your reply I appreciate it. I had already looked at the map and did know about your lack of local motorways. Im no lover of using them either. But sometimes have to. I was referrring to reviewers in general not covering motorway performance. Most dealers it seems seldom allow enough test ride time for most people on test rides to get in some time and distance on motoways and it woul dbe nice to get an exoerienced reviewers input on this. keep up the reviews I think they are great.
@@socairnone5550 I actually got to ride a big bike yesterday...the 2.5cc Rocket 3r 😉 I do still have my arms, they are just a little longer .....😅 ....keep on watching 👍
Had a CB500 wayback. Loved that bike. Probably still the same engine 25yrs later? 58bhp I think. Right now they fall between the cracks of not A2 and too low power for A class licences. I'd love a spin on the new 500s.
According to Honda the NX500 is indeed A2 compatible. It seems all '500' bikes are actually 471cc and 47bhp nowadays for that reason, including this one.
Hi Rick....I am in Cornwall, England my review vids are always in the UK. The clocks show MPH........70 MPH is the UK's national speed limit. 100mph equates to 160.9 KPH.....thanks for watching
4-5000 revs then change ? - i have been riding a 2022 cb500x for coming up to 2 years now (I have a full license but like lightweight bikes) - disagree - great little engine revs freely to 6000 and it remains in power band - over 6500 begins to run out of puff
It was brand new zero miles fresh out of the crate, I was being sympathetic to the engine. It was requested not to exceed 5k revs......once run in these engine are a great thash....thanks for watching

Im only 5'6" and sat on one of these in a showroom, i could still reach the floor but it was a stretch , still want to try one out however after seeing your review of the 500 hornet may have to look out for one of those to try as it's a little lower. Good to see the motor feels similar in both and it really is just small differences which you would expect with the styling.
