I think a fallout game in Washington/Seattle would be really cool because west Seattle is almost already a raider camp with the chems and rads and everything. But also because Washington has a very diverse ecosystem in present day and I'm curious how the radiation would effect it.

New Orleans has been at the top of my list for a new Fallout location for a long time. As a city, it's got tons of distinctive architecture and locations, it has a rich mix of cultural references and history to pull from, and the surrounding terrain - southern swamps, forests, and waterways - are something that could build on the work they did in Fallout 76 (the Mire).

I always thought that it would be super cool to see a Fallout game set in South Dakota, specifically West river. There are so many historic landmarks that could make for really awesome settlements. Deadwood could be similar to New Vegas with a theme of gambling but to a much lesser extent, Custer state park could be overridden with wildlife and irradiated monsters, and there could be a Vault behind Mount Rushmore where the secret chamber is, or alternatively, a post-war settlement built off of/ inside the heads of the Mount Rushmore figures. I also think it would be a great opportunity to give representation to Native cultures considering our large Indian population and diversity of tribes. I think it would be really awesome if those cultures survived and even thrived in a post-apocalyptic world. The relationship/enduring conflict between Indian and white settlers could be a very interesting background plot if anyone dared to touch it. I feel like people who don't live in South Dakota and who aren't surrounded by reservations don't have to face the full extent of how horribly white people have wronged Indigenous people, and really digging into that history and putting a spotlight on that enduring tension in the next Fallout game could bring a lot of attention to the racist culture that is so prevalent in South Dakota towards Native Americans. You could also spread it out a little more and add Devils Tower into it. By the way just vacationed there a few months back, SD is awesome and Deadwood was a blast.
Tennessee definitely would be a good location, the story could be about some kind of shady things going on at Oak Ridge which was one of the 3 locations the Manhattan project was going on. Anchorage would be a cool location too, maybe the Vault Tec leadership would have a secret base there in Alaska.
Somewhere in Alsaska is my choice. Large areas that are basically free of radiation (since its like 300 years post war, have a recovering landscape this time but with like 10-20 HIGHLY irradiated pockets (like the glowing sea). a game set in philly would be nice, a good mix of west virginias civil war culture and bostons rev war culture, valley forge and gettysburg, the ever burning town of centrailia, harrisburg being well harrisburg, pittsburg of course, and the ruins of the steel towns. pennsylvania is just a good mix of north and south so i think it would be great
I’d love to go to Chicago or Detroit or New York, maybe have factions along the lines of the Triggermen with gangs and stuff. With Al Capone from New York, all the different famous gangsters from Chicago, the Purple Gang from Detroit, I think it could be fun
A fun and engaging watch..loved playing along.. "imagine this place" ..so how about a border town like Mexicali, or Niagara Falls?.. brings in an international cultural influence..a new bit of flavor to work with
Seattle is often referred to as "Jet City" because Boeing started there, was headquartered there until 2001 and still has a number of aircraft aircraft factories in the greater Seattle area. Boeing still employs over 50,000 people in Washington state.
They could use that in fallout as well lol Tons of jet could have been made there (it was prewar that guy who claimed to invent in in fallout 2 was obviously lying)
Personally, I'd love to see a Fallout game take place in the Midwest. Specifically in the Omaha/Lincoln area. Most games tend to take place near the east and west coasts, so this leaves the midwest unexplored. Plus, if we had a game take place in the midwest, we could possibly delve a bit more into some BOS lore, as we know a brotherhood expedition force lost contact in the area near SAC. Throw in interesting locations like the air and space museum, and Offutt air force base, and I think we could have a bit of fun.
If it’s going to be the Midwest commonwealth it’s gotta be Chicago, clearly. 3 largest city in America, a metropolitan hub of the Midwest. Chicago would be absolutely perfect. Especially when they inevitably add vehicles. (Since they are adding vehicles to Starfield, surely they will be in the next Fallout)
As a Tennesseean I would love to see the music city in the fallout series! This is going to be a given, but they absolutely have to put country and or classic rock music on their radio stations. As for factions, maybe the BOS, but it would be interesting to see a militia faction considering Tennessee’s military involvement. Now I know this might sound like a copy paste of the minutemen, but Tennessee is also called the Volunteer State because of the sheer amount Tennesseean volunteers in the War of 1812 and the Mexican-American war, so I imagine there must be some form of militia there.
I honestly want a Fallout in my home state of Colorado. The premise could be it’s 30 years after FO4 and the Commonwealth, now expanded to become the new 13 Colonies, build the new continental railroad to the NCR. The two railroads meet in Colorado. East meets West.
@@colehorsegaby2113 I know but it's called the Colorado River which makes you think of Colorado and combined with the phrase a town called Boulder on the mighty Colorado which is from a song makes me think Boulder City is in Colorado but I'm pretty sure it's not
I would love my home town of Helena Montana a lot of roughing it and camping and maybe building our own compounds and running hippie cults and having more control with more people at our disposal.
id like to see an Australian Fallout game and have the whole country as the map mix between NV desert Cities and towns from 4 and 76 but made to fit Australia
Yeah!! we got it all for a wandering courier/survivalist. And we have plenty of critters that just need a bit of tweaking to make it a real challenge to navigate.
A snowy environment would be pretty cool for a Fallout game, rather than just a DLC or mod. But San Antonio, Texas would also be pretty cool. Now that Microsoft owns both Bethesda and Obsidian, I think Obsidian should work on all future Fallout projects, while Bethesda works on Elder Scrolls.
I hope they do anchorage Alaska because we've already had two games that talk about what happened up there- Would love to see LIBERTY PRIME in the Next Gen Glory and it would be a nice mix up from the usual formula of fallout's GHOULS, MUTANTS, AND RAD-Animals
Chicago also has the Midwest brotherhood of steel, along with death claws being members of the brotherhood. Ed-E from New Vegas also came from Chicago.
I have always wanted a fallout game in Alabama, Dixieland. It would be interesting to see the resurrection of some old real factions like the Klan, the black panthers and the Freemasons. The main villain could be a Pyker cult leader of one of them.
DFW area would be cool, you got 3 major cities compact. You’ve got Fort Worth with its cowtown roots you’ve got Arlington which is a big commercial area and you’ve got Dallas with tall skyscrapers and big city like look to it.
With New Orleans I imagine the crocodiles being basically the area's version of Deathclaws. Same for gators and crocs in Florida. A game taking place in one of those two locations would be amazing. Or maybe revisit places from the first two games? Get to see the actions of those characters (what is supposed to be the true cannon anyway) years after?
One big problem with a New Orleans setting is that it would flood, as the only thing preventing it flooding right now is a network of dykes holding the Mississippi River and the Gulf of Mexico out. The Mississippi River is trying to shift its banks even today, held in place artificially by those aforementioned dykes that would need regular maintenance or they will burst.
New Orleans would be a hilariously dumb idea, new Orleans is below sea level, so in the event of a nuclear strike, the whole place would be a swamp, submerged by water
Since Anchorage was a place of resources, it wouldn't get nuked. It would defeat the purpose of the war in the first place. So Alaska may have small amounts or radiation drift for a few decades giving the flora and fauna slight, uncanny, changes.
I think your best bet with the mall of america would be to have it have a new vault underneath it. That way you could have two areas to explore in one. Fight your way through the ruins of the mall only to find a massive vault hidden in the basement. Hell the experiment of the vault could even be based on the mall or consumerism in general
@@plantainsame2049 just reveal their reason the aliens haven't conducted a massive invasion is because they also had a global war and what we see in the games are a few that escaped Alien mad max
I'm definitely in favor of a game set in Minnesota and the Twin Cities as well. That would be awesome! And ofc a proper game set in Chicago would be fascinating. While there are military bases in every state (thanks Congress 😑), I'm of the opinion that the Midwest would be hit by a lot less nukes than the rest of the country - largely because there's not that much here of strategic value. It could be interesting to explore an area that was largely untouched by the bombs, but instead suffered primarily from social collapse. Well, that wouldn't include Chicago as it being the 3rd largest US city would definitely make it a prime target. WI, MN, and Upper MI would be a fascinating place to explore as a lot of it is just woods and oh gods, the snow! If we get a Fallout in WI, MN, Upper MI, please please please give us proper seasons! I need to see the massive snowstorms! Same thing with ND/SD - the blizzards should be massive and unrelenting! Sigh, but that would probably require... Let's just say I don't think Bethesda's engine and programmers are up for the job as of yet.
Chicago is perfect! So much potential for dynamic gameplay verity, lore and vehicle gameplay. Cuz you know they have to add vehicles, since they are coming to Starfield. We can read between the lines haha.
I’m a huge literature nerd, and I always thought a really fun concept for a Fallout game would be one that takes place in and around Tornado Alley. You could start off in Kansas in a similar way to Fallout 4, being whisked away by a nuclear bomb just to land in a wasteland with superficial resemblance to the world of the Wizard of Oz years in the future. From there, you might head to Tulsa where an ongoing gang war between the Greasers and Socs is gripping the city, to the Cuckoo’s Nest where the population is controlled by the autocratic Nurse Ratched, to Insmouth where fish-like super mutants reign supreme, or to Hannibal where bounty hunters Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer are trying to clean up the local river pirate problem.
The most logical and best suited for the follow up to the established storylines of 3 and 4 would be a continuation of the nations founding being set around Philly with tie ins to New York keeping the minutemen as the East NCR equal, they typically tease out the next location and there are numerous nods to philly slang and culture in 4 and 76
Hawaii. Feature underwater exploration and functional ships. Rename raiders to pirates. Bioshock themed power armor for traversing underwater. Bring the Shi back.
Having a map encompassing Chicago, South bend, and some of the surrounding farmland/industrial areas would be awesome. And have a DLC where you take a boat down the Mississippi river to New Orleans.
Southern CA and AZ. Central NM and TX would make good wasteland locations. These areas had facilities pertinent to most wars since WWII and many were part of our nuclear deterrent systems.
Also, there could be several DLC options for New Orleans. Fallout NOLa... WB (WestBank) DLC. Only since we have a Navy Base here it could either be the Waste Bank or the area spared the horrors of Atom's Heavenly Glow. Not to mention Rougaroux, LC(Lake Charles), Lafayette (Laffy), Acadian Village, all along the I10 corridor. And we could have our own version of the institute with Louisiana Tech University or keeping with the 50s style Louisiana Polytechnic Institute. And think of Radioactive Hurricanes...
Seattle seems pretty cool. Perhaps all the nukes set off Mt. Rainer and ash started going into the city leading to a Pompeii scenario with people turned into statues the instant they died. Or perhaps the volcano erupts more often so you have to wear a gas mask every time that happens or your character starts coughing up blood while loosing health. (Volcanic ash grains are razor sharp.)
I think Denver or Dog Town as it was called in Van Buren would be a great location for the next Fallout game! There is some interesting pre-establish lore to the region that put Denver in the middle of Legion territory. The city also has many unique landmarks. I think it would be really cool if the player first emerges from a vault underneath the Denver airport and let's not forget about the Cheyenne Mountain Complex just outside the city they could definitely do some cool with that in the next game!
I personally disagree with all but number one what I would like to see would be San Antonio texas especially the Alamo, Miami Florida bc of the fallout miami mods out there or Anchorage like you said but I especially like your choice of New Orleans I just think miami would be more interesting to see
My idea that im surprised not too many people seem to mention is Miami (or southern Florida in general). 1) the main city could have a really cool vice city theme with the pink and blue which would really stand out. Would be great for marketing. I can visualize the logo now "Fallout 5: Miami" in pink/blue neon. 2) variety of settings. Theres the city of course, lots of beaches, ocean, Everglades, the florida keys, forests, etc. 3) proximity to Cuba and Bahamas. Imagine how cool it'd be if there was a pirate-like faction based out of the Bahamas and a communist one out of Cuba that idolized Castro (like the Kings with Elvis or the Legion with Julius Caesar).? There are so many things they could build the story around. The main story of the game practically writes itself. 4) like with your New Orleans example, it would have lots of animal options that make sense like massive alligators, snakes, turtles, panthers, bears, bobcats, etc
I want a Fallout: Atlantis. In other words, Bioshock but done like Fallout and set in that universe. Hell, it could be its own universe with a heavy focus on Ancient Greek mythology and lore.
Imagine a fallout game like gta 5 where we can swap between two characters in different regions Like perhaps a game where we play as someone from the Canadian vault and another person from the Mexican vault
I would love for a Fallout game to take place in or around the Minneapolis/St Paul area, as 1 i live about an hour away from there, and 2 since i got into the fallout franchise I began to wonder what areas I grew up knowing would look like "fallout-ified"
I want the entire area along the Mississippi River. At least St. Louis and Memphis. But as a former Washingtonian I'd live to see Seattle in the Fallout verse.
There needs to be a way to beat the game with just items, switches, crafting, and loot. A really hard way to beat it in such a matter. Then just use the methods that require NPCs on top of that.
Holding out on Kentucky or New Orleans! Kentucky has the longest cave on Earth and Louisville, The Derby, Crops, Mountains, Pumpkin Chumpkin (Happens once a year) and we have tons of Alchohol
I would love to see a fallout set on the island of Montreal or even Toronto. We don’t have much information of what happened to our neighbours up north after the war. Even introducing a season system 🤷🏽
I have recently gotten into the classic fallout games and I would really love to see Fallout 5 being directly influenced by the players actions in 3,NV or 4 with an overlap of important locations.
Considering the BOS presence, I wonder if they'd ever go to Kansas. A bunch of interesting animals to wastelandify too, like antelopes, bison, eagles. Probably won't happen but I can dream
Wat i like to see is the world before the great war. And getting around new York in a nuclear car. Helping out npc. While there is a resource shortage. And see all tek in its glory days
A spin-off game where it’s pre-war and your just some schmuck living somewhere? That could be pretty cool. Maybe you work for Vault-Tec? Good Share! Thanks for watching!
NGL i live in the twin cities metro area and i have always wanted to see a fallout game set in my home state/city, and i think it would be cool to see familiat landmarks post apocalypse, can even see some sort f city versus city faction war as a setting for a fallout game
Thank you for watching! Check out my NEW Fallout 5 Videos right here --> ua-cam.com/video/DQtO45mnQEA/v-deo.html Thanks again!

a game set in philly would be nice, a good mix of west virginias civil war culture and bostons rev war culture, valley forge and gettysburg, the ever burning town of centrailia, harrisburg being well harrisburg, pittsburg of course, and the ruins of the steel towns. pennsylvania is just a good mix of north and south so i think it would be great
I’d love to go to Chicago or Detroit or New York, maybe have factions along the lines of the Triggermen with gangs and stuff. With Al Capone from New York, all the different famous gangsters from Chicago, the Purple Gang from Detroit, I think it could be fun
A fun and engaging watch..loved playing along.. "imagine this place" ..so how about a border town like Mexicali, or Niagara Falls?.. brings in an international cultural influence..a new bit of flavor to work with
Loved all your picks!! You really did the work here, awesome! And so funny, your two cents are a hot take 🔥🔥
Seattle is nicknamed jet city because that’s where Boeing (massive aviation company) builds a lot of their aircraft
Seattle is often referred to as "Jet City" because Boeing started there, was headquartered there until 2001 and still has a number of aircraft aircraft factories in the greater Seattle area. Boeing still employs over 50,000 people in Washington state.
They could use that in fallout as well lol
Tons of jet could have been made there (it was prewar that guy who claimed to invent in in fallout 2 was obviously lying)
Also, post-nuclear bison! They're already scary, imagine the fucker that made it through an atomic war
I'd LOVE to see a Tennessee chapter of The Kings. Best faction in Fallout by far.
mardigras raiders would be cool and flashy ...
I always loved the idea of Kentucky, having moonshiners and hillbilly’s running around I’ve seen some cool concepts on forms about it.
That nashville idea is fire. I live here and I know there is alot of buildings/ landmarks here that would be epic in the fallout universe
I honestly want a Fallout in my home state of Colorado.
The premise could be it’s 30 years after FO4 and the Commonwealth, now expanded to become the new 13 Colonies, build the new continental railroad to the NCR. The two railroads meet in Colorado. East meets West.
Damn Colorado River confuses me because it was in New Vegas yet Vegas is in Nevada but the legion 4 is in Arizona
@@plantainsame2049 the colorado goes through multiple states
@@colehorsegaby2113 I know but it's called the Colorado River which makes you think of Colorado and combined with the phrase a town called Boulder on the mighty Colorado which is from a song makes me think Boulder City is in Colorado but I'm pretty sure it's not
my ideas
-Nashville
-new York
-Houston
-Chicago
-London
Edit: alaska
I would love my home town of Helena Montana a lot of roughing it and camping and maybe building our own compounds and running hippie cults and having more control with more people at our disposal.
id like to see an Australian Fallout game
and have the whole country as the map
mix between NV desert
Cities and towns from 4 and 76
but made to fit Australia
Yeah!! we got it all for a wandering courier/survivalist.
It would be amazing if they do it right. It’s a location that comes with a lot of different expectations from fans. Thanks for checking out the video!
Chicago! Heck it is almost identical to the Fallout universe already.
Chicago also has the Midwest brotherhood of steel, along with death claws being members of the brotherhood. Ed-E from New Vegas also came from Chicago.
@@9225thcamaroThe City of Milwaukee could be a DLC. Beer!!!
Swamp vibes forever! Thanks for sharing!
I say Southern California with drivable vehicle like something out mad max
One big problem with a New Orleans setting is that it would flood, as the only thing preventing it flooding right now is a network of dykes holding the Mississippi River and the Gulf of Mexico out. The Mississippi River is trying to shift its banks even today, held in place artificially by those aforementioned dykes that would need regular maintenance or they will burst.
New Orleans would be a hilariously dumb idea, new Orleans is below sea level, so in the event of a nuclear strike, the whole place would be a swamp, submerged by water
des Moines would be amazing a lack of infrastructure and more corn fields would make a super spooky and fun location
Since Anchorage was a place of resources, it wouldn't get nuked. It would defeat the purpose of the war in the first place. So Alaska may have small amounts or radiation drift for a few decades giving the flora and fauna slight, uncanny, changes.
Fallout 5 in Mississippi or Louisiana would be epic with massive pelicans and gators or water moccasins
I would love to revist a location from an older game. Mostly from fallout 1 and 2. But I would probably make it a side game like New Vegas
I like to go back to California as a 3d fallout game
I don’t even have to imagine what Denver would look like, it’s already suffering fallout
I think your best bet with the mall of america would be to have it have a new vault underneath it. That way you could have two areas to explore in one. Fight your way through the ruins of the mall only to find a massive vault hidden in the basement. Hell the experiment of the vault could even be based on the mall or consumerism in general
Fallout 5 should involve a Zetan invasion. Could even use an abduction as a character creator.
No at that point it ain't fall out it's War of the Worlds with a splash of Mad Max
@@plantainsame2049 maybe it ould be your born on the space ship but live in the wasteland
Alien invasions by little green men fit perfectly with retro futuristic Americana.
@@plantainsame2049 just reveal their reason the aliens haven't conducted a massive invasion is because they also had a global war and what we see in the games are a few that escaped
Alien mad max
There are LOTS of resources in the Midwest. They don’t call it the Iron Range for nothing! Great comment!
The most logical and best suited for the follow up to the established storylines of 3 and 4 would be a continuation of the nations founding being set around Philly with tie ins to New York keeping the minutemen as the East NCR equal, they typically tease out the next location and there are numerous nods to philly slang and culture in 4 and 76
I'd love to sea a fallout game in the boneyard again. We could revisit some famous locations like vault city, the mariposa base and the ruins of LA
Agreed, I'd also like to see how Vault 13/ Arroyo people evolved after they used the G.E.C.K
How would you guys feel about a full remake of Fallout 1 & 2?
This Fallout game can have a intro like Fallout 4
I,ve been there! Its awsome.. Ya, a GREAT place for a new FALLOUT!!!
A voodoo faction in the Cajun wasteland based out of the Saints’ stadium would be sick
What about the southwest/mexico? Could be really interesting
I’ve been saying this for years!!
Southern CA and AZ. Central NM and TX would make good wasteland locations.
These areas had facilities pertinent to most wars since WWII and many were part of our nuclear deterrent systems.
It’s going to be in a place called ronto, Asher says it in fallout 3 during his speech before you go to fight in the hole
I personally disagree with all but number one what I would like to see would be San Antonio texas especially the Alamo, Miami Florida bc of the fallout miami mods out there or Anchorage like you said but I especially like your choice of New Orleans I just think miami would be more interesting to see
I want them to make it in San Antonio so we can have an Easter egg of a bike in the basement of the Alamo and make it a misc quest
Any place with snow would be slappin
I'm actually happy they got my state in Fallout 76, West Virginia doesn't get a lot of love so it was nice
The voodoo he mentioned is offensive to us who practice Vodou, their are lots of beliefs around the Loa and what he was thinking of was Petro-Vodou
I'd love a play in Tennessee as I'm a Tennessean.
As a person who could literally walk to new Orleans, it'd be very cool.
As someone who lives in Seattle I would love to see Fallout 5 set here. I mean it already does kinda look like a wasteland here.
id be so down to see irradiated, overgrown, tropical Hawaii
St. Louis! Would be amazing. Old beer factories. Baseball stadium with the arch. Missouri River flowing through.
I want to see Denver, the city of dogs where you have to live on the rooftops or else you get swarmed by thousands of dogs
If we are getting a giant wise turtle, im naming him Master Oogway, regardless if he has a name or not
My idea that im surprised not too many people seem to mention is Miami (or southern Florida in general).
Texas has such a distinct culture to it and it needs to be a fallout game
Missed a perfect opportunity for you to say that the weather system for minnesota could have purple rain.
Damn. Thanks for watching!
Imagine a fallout game like gta 5 where we can swap between two characters in different regions
Like perhaps a game where we play as someone from the Canadian vault and another person from the Mexican vault
I'd totally like to see a Fallout game set in Seattle and Anchorage!!!
Seattle with an expansion to the Tri-city area with Handforth storyline
Dallas man, that would be the place for a new fallout game
Chicago would be a pretty good place due to the supposed heavy enclave presence there
I want a mega big multi city game, with each city having unique features and it spans multiple states and require other forms of travel than walking
I see many loading screens! But I would love it if they could capture the diversity of each city and not crash my system! Good share!
Denver is known as “dog city” due to being infested with packs of dogs,it was controlled by the legion in fallout new Vegas
I think a fallout game in the streets of New York City would be doooope! Coney Island included of course!
I can image mutated Hawks being called Jayhawks with even special ones that look specifically like the mythical bird
I really want Los Angeles. Maybe it could be named "Fallout: New Angeles"?
Los Angeles is called the Boneyard in Fallout
@@BossXygman yes i know that.
I made a video about that. You should check it out! lol Thanks for watching!
There is a mod it’s called cascadida don’t think I spelt that right the is in Seattle in development
