Thanks Robert for explaining comprehensive, infused & experiential knowledge. How does Jesus' proclaimed ignorance "no one knows the hour, not even the Son, but only the Father" fit into this?
Carlo, What you highlight does confuse many. Yet we know that Christ speaks about the last judgement in great detail in Matt 25, so he obviously knows all about it. Most interpret the words you quote as menaing that only the Father both knows and can reveal the date. The Son knows but cannot reveal that date before the apopointed time. God bless.
@roberthaddad7850 I heard the explanation, Christ knew the hour in his divine nature but that knowledge was not infused into his human nature. I'm trying to reconcile this with what you said. Perhaps Christ was proclaiming ignorance of his experiential knowledge. That way, we can't accuse him of lying. What is your opinion?
