I am 35. Just starting to fish and I got a 6.4 the other day at Table Rock in Missouri. I screamed like a kid and my 65 year old Dad was screaming for me. He's caught 50 that size in his life but seeing me catch my first set him off.
God bless and I hope you all catch a 8lb bass some day. Be courteous and kind out there, folks.

For Table Rock that is a MONSTER. They don't get huge there, its such a deep lake. Don't set an expectation from that fish, MO is almost famous for 2 to 3lb bass. 4s and 5s can be hard to find.

    Watching from Toronto Ontario Canada.
Catching a 5lb largie here in the city is like catching a damn 8 or 9lb Florida largemouth.
I'm getting ready to fish a private pond I've been invited to tomorrow where the bass see almost zero pressure and into Sunday while promoting a new bait I'm working with.
Hopefully we poke a big one!

Great videos as usual Mr Roland. I’ve only started fishing recently but has always loved fishing as a young child. Only recently have I found myself the extra time to embrace this love of mine. I found your videos quite helpful however there’s a specific question I wanted to ask if you would indulge me it would be godsend. I live close to a murky river with about up to 8-10m depth of steady flow. I know from people and my own research that there are bass, perch, carp, tench and goldfish in the river but the majority fish population would be Redfins/European perch. There’s a section of the river where I know there are a lot of fishes there all day all night, I even saw patches of bubbles in the water everywhere in this area, I mostly bank fish but do have access to a kayak if needed and for the life of me I couldn’t catch a single fish. So my question is what type of lure/bait and/or technique should I be using to catch a fish any fish in this river?? I’m getting quite desperate at this point so any help would be greatly appreciated! And sorry for the rant.
