- This year is the 70th anniversary from Ferrari foundation in 1947 and the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed celebrates the Italian brand allowing some of the most beautiful racing cars ever made by Ferrari to race upon the famous hillclimb course. Starting from the first and the most recent Ferrari in production (1947 Ferrari 125 S and the LaFerrari Aperta) till the beautiful Ferrari 330 P4, 250 GTO or the screaming Ferrari 641 F1 V12 and the Ferrari 333SP.

@@Feintgames It's a GTO 64. Engine in the front. The LM has the engine in the back, but the backs look like eachother a bit yes.
The older they are, the greater they sound. Seeing the "sharknose" F1 cars and others was a real treat when they were at pretty full chat! As for the 250LM, what a beast!

I’ve admired all this for a long time from a distance, and fear that I’m way too big to even fit inside, but somehow the 1967 “lazy 7” 330 P4 is the one I always daydream about slinging around for a few laps.

That is a Ferrari 125 or 166 (I'm not sure which one) the livery suggests that it may very well be driven by Juan Manuel Fangio at some point in 1950-51

It always makes me so happy to see cars this rare, and this valuable, being driven how they were designed to be driven. Some highlights!
3:27 = $40-50,000,000 (250 GTO)
6:30 = also $40-50,000,000 (250 GTO/64)
10:05 = $3,000,000 (275 GTB/2)
Also, if I'm not mistaken, that 330 P4 (1:04) may be the only one left in existence and is worth around $25,000,000.

@@nebula8869, Ferrari built only 3 P4 units (chassis numbered 0856, 0858 and 0860) from scratch. Additionally, it upgraded one 330 P3 (chassis number 0846) to P4 specifications. Towards the end of 1967 Ferrari modified two P4s (0858 and 0860) for the Can-Am series to the extent that they can no longer be regarded as P4s, although one was subsequently refitted with a copy of a P4 Berlinetta body and the other with a P4 spyder body by their current owners, the former being German and the latter French.
James Glickenhaus published a voluminous PDF in an attempt to prove that he owned the genuine upgraded P4 (chassis number 0846). He subsequently sent a letter to ferrari seeking confirmation for this. Mauro Forghieri, who was employed by Ferrari from 1960 and had become Chief of its Technical Department for racing cars by the time he left the company in 1987, replied tersely that as far as Ferrari was concerned the vehicle was physically scrapped after its accident and destruction by fire during the running of the 24 hours of le Mans and therefore ceased to exist. (i.postimg.cc/43Xq5B1C/Ferrari_letter_to_Glickenhaus.jpg) Forghieri finished the letter by saying that upon examination the vehicle in question turned out to conform with 330 P4 specifications, it is not the genuine Ferrari number 0846 Glickenhaus claimed it to be. Using some selective reading, Glickenhaus proclaimed that Forghieri's letter confirmed that he owned the real thing.
It therefore appears to me that Lawrence Stroll owns the only remaining vehicle that can be regarded as an original Ferrari 330 P4, and even there I wonder just how many of the components bolted to chassis #0856 today are the same ones Ferrari used to make it in 1967.
All this makes me wonder how many of the older Ferraris featured in this video are actually genuine rather than really accurate copies. My doubt about all of them being originals is heightened by the appearance of not just one but two 1961 vintage 156 F1 "sharknose" models. All 156s were scrapped by the end of the 1963 season. Even the exemplar exhibited in Ferrari's own "Galleria Ferrari" in Maranello is a replica.

+fingerprints Mclaren and Peugot have both expressed interest in returning if they update the rules which they will in 2020. Mclaren especially wants to make a car. Le Mans p1 has always had its ups and downs but it's not going anywhere imo.

Next week here in Italy they'll make the official celebration in Maranello but I'm 200% sure I won't see most of the cars you see in this video: the original 512M Sunoco, the Dino 246 Tasmania F2, that 330 P4 and many many more.
