I think he means riding with your back slouched over on a traditional seat and legs just moving away. The new seat will bring the intensity upper and stretch put that hip bone and may often hear a much need snap crackle and pop. I say if your hips dont pop you're stiff and in need of stretching big time.
Regenerative braking would be much much more useful. But barely any electric bike makes use of it because it's expensive and harder to manufacture. I would even go as far as to argue it would cost more energy to fabricate than it would generate on average.

Most Speed controllers dont utilize or disabled it by default because it's not as reliable as real brakes and put generates more heat by putting a higher load on the electronics.
