Every time I see Flo, he’s doing extra work or different work from usual. He shows in videos how he’s determined to work hard, help the business grow, keeps himself and everyone onsite safe and also build up within the company on a personal level! Here’s a shout out to Flo!!

I just love to see Daniel succeed and I don't know why I just feel like he does extra hard work than anyone I have ever seen .
I hope there's a stand alone video coming showcasing everything thats being done to the new yard ....and the process involved trying to move everything to the new yard thats already in the existing yard
Passed thru Heathrow on my way to and from Hong Kong. All I could think of was on my 6hrs layover was wouldn't it be nice to be able to pop over to the Yard and seeing it for myself. I know it's a long shot, but there needs to be official guided tours for us in the field who from around the world (especially us Tropical People who are obviously not direct competitors) passing through town who are genuinely interested in seeing the inner workings of the operations. Definitely not large groups or access to sensitive areas that would disrupt activities. I'd pay for that tour 😂...
I wouldn't even want to imagine the cost of concreting that yard! My friends also run 6 volumetrics, but you have to invest to grow 👏👏👏 here's to the future 👊
You should configure a lorry like that DAF demo few episodes ago, just to keep roll-on roll-off with dumpsters and bags and new one with plant and machinery

Ashville making a very easy stance on automated vehicles that will fall easy on the ears of drivers. In actual fact it's not ready but the minute it is Ashville will adopt it.

Get a standpipe for the volumetric, get them from your water company. Always handy incase you ever run out on the road
Get another shovel, do not, do not, get involved with elect vehicles. Get solar on your buildings and a battery save you$$$$.Plus you should get money for extra power from solar.

£47k for a supply that size isnt bad, Western power charged us most of that to hang a transformer on an existing pole and run single phase down
I was quoted 50k Northern Power Grids to put a new supply into my yard at the small holding. That was also without any costs from railways where it has to come through tunnel.

The fact that other industry members are waiting on Ashville’s downfall says it all.. industry mavericks. Daniel built it from the ground up with no inheritance or generational help as a millennial from an immigrant family in a boomer/gen x industry.

What does it say, I've seen the same in every industry I've worked in, some people seem to gloat at others misfortune, regardless of whether the company is a long established company or a new start up making a go of it?
@medler2110 The industry Dan is in is owned generationally and they want to gatekeep, who is allowed to be apart of it. Dan is an abnormality because he's first generation owner and he has somehow been able to be apart of this industry without any prior help. Dan has solidified his destiny with the 50 year lease and he's not going anywhere. 💯💯💯
And if Daniel had a son who wanted to get into the industry you don’t think there’s gonna be a problem with what you’re saying? Because at that point it does become about inheritance, generational etc.

As a class 1 driver it's nice to see what your drivers get up even though they drive tippers so I like the driver segment and the barcode on the trucks and vans is a good move 👌 😎 Great video as always 👍
i would recommend when installing the data connections to make sure its an easy serviceable system, also would not be a bad idea to have a dual run system.
Great videos as always,Just a suggestion the plaster in down lights on the refurbishment job, Saxby do a plaster in downlight which is fire rated, which you would not need a hood,save on labour cost modification, keep up the good work 👍🏽
73 plate trucks with rear light bulbs should of gone led used to happen to us all the time with the tipper being so light when empty bouncing about so we changed to clusters to led no problems since

You need 2 loaders for the yard for sure.
Would you also think about taking used concrete, soil, other materials from sites and then reuse them. So on your yard have a material recycling system.

Dual fuel in heavy plant is a gimmick. As your new yard is larger you will probably have more product and further to move it. So to future proof 2 shovels would seem to make sense.
Wil be interesting to see the HS2 stuff from your perspective. Massive mistake from government cancelling phase 2. But still some massive and innovative structures being constructed in phase 1.
