Your videos are so cheerful, just the thing for a rainy April day. If you think San Pedro seeds are tiny, try planting Sinningias. I've been using a paper seed planters for many years, now. I prefer to use cardstock because it is more rigid. I just fold a file card in half. It's an especially good idea when someone sends you seeds in a little plastic Ziploc. The static charge from the plastic can make small seeds fly in all directions. Dropping the seeds onto a sheet of paper discharges the static charge and makes the seeds much easier to handle, and the white paper behind the seeds makes it easy to see how many are coming down the crease.
+Emmit Stewart Thanks a million Emmit for your fantastic comment :-) thats brilliant that you also love using paper seed planters and I bet card would be much better and sturdier than paper, thats such a great idea :-) and brilliant tip with the small ziplock bags that seeds often come in, I have had a few seeds fly out from the static in the past haha! :-) thanks so much for sharing this with me :-) thanks so much for watching and sending you an abundance of love and tons of happiness from right across the Emerald Isle and have an INCREDIBLE Tuesday ahead today XXXXX

Thanks for sharing Lyn☺.I used to cover the plastic container with its lid.the problem is the mold can easily grow and cover the soil.Is your technique using ziplock can avoid this problem?tqsm Lyn.
+mazni sulaiman Thanks so much Mazni for your fantastic comment :-) Yes I find that using the Ziplock bag method prevents the mold from forming, I used to lose a lot of seedlings in the past to mold and damping off, but since using the ziplock bag method I never lose any :-) thanks so much for watching and sending you an abundance of love and happiness and happy growing from Ireland and have a WONDERFUL Tuesday today XXXXXXX
Dear Lynn, I did all you said and have some nice seedlings, all about 4-5 cm tall. I have a lot of plastic trays like you use in the video - do you think I can replant the seedlings into those? (Normally one would of course buy small single ones, but since I have the other trays, I could save some plastic.) Or would they be stressed tout? Thank you.
Hi there :-D yes you can definitely transplant the seedlings into larger plastic trays :-D but unless the seedlings are very crowded I would wait until the spring to do this when they will be more actively growing
@@desertplantsofavalon Thank you very much for your response. Problem is, that I had some rot, they were so crowded that the roots couldn't dry anymore. So I had to unearth all of them to limit the damage. I'll be planting the smaller ones in trays to save some space. Thanks again, it's an inspiration to see your amazing work. All the best!
+Indra Yudha Kusuma Thanks so much for your fantastic comment Indra :-) I still haven't found anywhere suitable to move to yet, its been difficult with finding a place with enough room for all the plants haha! so we are still at the same house for a while, but I moved the cacti out the greenhouse for the Winter and will be moving them back in again in early May :-) thanks so much for watching and Sending you an abundance of love and happiness and heaps of happy growing from Ireland to Indonesia and have a WONDERFUL afternoon XXXXX
