Hey everyone. Thanks for watching my video. You can get the gears talked about in the video here Zoom H1 Recorder: amzn.to/2kCWJWL GiantSquid Audio Mic: amzn.to/2kI0kq2
I've been trying to figure this out with a clear, down to earth explanation regular/inexperienced people to audio-video production can easily grasp (for windows). Thanks for getting to the point with the walk through and not blabbing on for 10 minutes about everything in the world except what the title indicates (like so many other people unfortunately do 🤣). I subscribed 👍
Very helpful! Thank you. I'm going to start using the Zoom H1N and had no idea how easy it could be. Glad you're out there keeping it simple even for new audio people such as me!
Hey John, Great tutorial.... I often experience the audio from the recorder falls out of sync with the video when bringing both files to my timeline.. I'm on FCPx....
Great video sir, thank you for posting. I learned something new. I already knew how to sink audio but I didn't know there was software that could do it for you :)
So I can definitely use audio from a Zoom H1N in Movie Maker? I just see an "add music" option. I haven't purchased my recorder yet. I'm pretty new to all of this. Thanks!
@@MotoTTZ thank you! I was thinking so, but it's great to have confirmation. Thank you!! I'm ordering my stuff tomorrow now that I know for sure. Thank you. Thank you.
Great Video John! ..I just bought the Zoom H1N, for this exact use on Videos, however when I connect the H1N to USB, I get no recognition on my PC, would you know of any reason? Thanks
Mr Chow, Thank you, I'm just getting started with H1n, I'm trying to record engine sounds from my sports car, have you done that? If so, what do you recomment?
For all those naysayers who say John is a scam, now they can see that he knows his technical stuff plus 'how to make money' living the dot com lifestyle.
Great video. But there has got to be an easier way to align the audio to the video, as this method seems cumbersome and can be time consuming. Doesn't the software have automatic alignment option?

So I can definitely use audio from a Zoom H1N in Movie Maker? I just see an "add music" option. I haven't purchased my recorder yet. I'm pretty new to all of this. Thanks!
Yes you can. The music in this case would be the audio from the Zoom H1N.
@@MotoTTZ thank you! I was thinking so, but it's great to have confirmation. Thank you!! I'm ordering my stuff tomorrow now that I know for sure. Thank you. Thank you.

Did you turn the H1N on? I remove the micoSD card and put it into a card reader for use with the computer.
You'll need to update your Zoom H1 firmware to v2.0 or higher in order to enable the USB-audio interface.
I never knew that! Nice tip!
Mr Chow, Thank you, I'm just getting started with H1n, I'm trying to record engine sounds from my sports car, have you done that? If so, what do you recomment?
Make sure you get a good wind blocker.
Would I be able to use Sony Vegas pro to sync my camera footage with my zoom H1? Thanks:)
No idea. Never used Sony Vegas.

Great video. But there has got to be an easier way to align the audio to the video, as this method seems cumbersome and can be time consuming. Doesn't the software have automatic alignment option?
Yes, I did show how to do this automatically with Final Cut Pro. It's in the video.
cool!
you can sync clips in FCP, it is not hard to do.
Choose Clip > Synchronize Clips
Then you will be in sync in no time.
Bachkana... unprofessional
stop doing tutorials for things you don't know about
Thank you for sharing.
