I want to do this to my Del Sol so badly. I scored one that had one owner, and friend of mine who bought it brand new off the lot. Stored in a heated garage for its life... doesn't even have leaky targa top. Runs like a dream. $300.

Gotta love the tuning videos. The sketchy lighter soldering when you said "hopefully there isn't a fuel leak" gave me PTSD from when Brents s2k started on fire.

Basically doing the same build minus the hondata. Plan to go with something smaller on the turbo spec for better response.

Can you try the Snake COP distributor? Looks newer to the market and very promising. Just curious what you think.
t3t4 50 trim with a .48 hotside would be a great budget turbo for that car or a gt2860rs or gt2871r if you wanna spend a little more.
Can you tell any difference with the cam over stock or others?

That needs much more compression to spool that turbo. Downside of most single cams, unless you run 10.1 or a hair higher on the right turbo you’re pretty much a sled until then end of your rev range.
I have a question? Do you ever tune any turbo k20s who have a blow off valve block plate in order to achieve turbo flutter

in another video you said you wanted test withe 4849 turbo .
in this video you have a 6262 turbo
i wanted to see which power can do this 4849 because i'm intersted for a turbo at 3000-3500 rpm and not at 6000rpm (with big turbo).
what about this 4849 ?
what clutch is in it ? needs some ideas for the crx build shooting for 400 also but with cable trans😕

Hey I think that the reason the car was likeing such low timing and acting funny was because the cam was probably degreed at -6 an when you zeroed out the cam it pushed the power way out and threw off the efficiency i bet you if you put it back like it was it would pick up power every across the graph .. just my 2 cents I know you have had problems in the past on cars with the cams not set right but majority of the time the cam gears are set like that to get the cam degreed in to spec... anyway keep killing brother love watching you grow the website is looking awesome wish you guys the best with everything and the little one coming
The bolts were loose when it came in. Also if it was retarted 6 degrees like it was initially the power would have been even more laggy but thank you for your comment and support!!!

Id like to see a basic how to base map with ya bud i think i got a little bit of a grasp in it but i need more where there is nowhere to do this northen michigan only has rwd dynos i would have to drive about 300 miles to get a correct tune. Id have to do pulls at the 1/8th mile at kaliva and thats 30 min away

Hey I have a question, I have a built b16 with wiseco pistons in my em1 and have an oil jet that broke and found it in my oil pick up tube. Is it ok to remove the oil jets and just plug them?

What was the final gap on the spark plugs? 0.18?
Yes the plugs that were in it were not gapped to 0.18 lol
So I finished my build and my hunter tuned bov was staying open on idle. Switched the spring now she’s good. Is there any more adjustment or just s spring swap
It’s supposed to be open at idle…..
@@HunterTuned it stays open even under acceleration and wen I let off it only closes halfway. Never closes completely
@@HunterTuned So what is the difference between the two BOV springs that come with your BOV? I assumed the the lighter spring wasn’t enough being it never closed even under load. Therefore not letting me build boost. I know your a busy man and myself/others could benefit from a quick breakdown/explanation of the two things. @@2LegitTooQuit I always run the light spring. It closes once boost comes in. The stiff spring and it will never open from my experience
@@HunterTuned Ok I will swap it back to the light spring and see what happens. Not sure if this matters or not but my BOV is around 8inches from my throttle body

Can you expand on the timing and head gasket theory? Wouldn’t overall power have more relevance to cylinder pressure and thus head gasket life? Why ign timing ?
