I really enjoy your videos no matter how long they are. I’m glad you enjoyed your Mira retreat and seeing Nora. Good luck on your crazy long run. Happy Stitching 🧵🪡
Thank you for watching. I have to admit, I love watching long videos too so I’m getting braver at posting longer ones! It funny how we can talk about cross stitch for hours and the time just flies by 😊
There was do much I wanted to comment on that I wish I had taken notes. So, so proud of you for finishing "Old Smokey". Gorgeous! As a mom of adults I can look back and say that I think boys can be more difficult to get through puberty for many reasons but you will live through it and he will as well. Hang in there! ❤❤❤
Thank you so much for your lovely comment and I'm so sorry its taken so long to reply. That is reassuring to know that eventually I'll get through with my son. But its hard! We have good days, when he's an absolute delight, and bad days when I just wonder how I'll make it. I never know what kind of day we're going to have. The joys of being a parent, right?
Thank you for your comment and I will definitely get them all together. It will probably be into June now, with a very busy May ahead of me, but I think I might need the motivation not just to get them back out, but to tidy them all up!
Congratulations on the finish! Thanks for sharing your progress on your beautiful wips, I’m looking forward to seeing what start you choose. Glad the hrt is helping, I’m 6 yrs into surgical menopause with no hrt , palpations, sweating, insomnia, urinary issues, the list goes on, and I lost both breasts last yr and still haven’t recovered, so nerve pain is added to the mix.. thank goodness for stitching, chocolate and gin 🤭 Enjoy the rest of the weekend and have a good week ahead 🙂
Thank you for your wonderful comment and I am so very sorry it has taken me so long to reply. What a struggle you've had to go through! We have it tough as women, don't we? All of these problems, after we've spent all those years with various other female challenges. It just doesn't seem fair! But as you say, thank goodness for gin, stitching and chocolate! They are the saviour to so many of us. Hang in there and keep stitching. Sending all my love.
Omg! You make me laugh. I love your channel, you are my favourite, love your enthusiasm and your commitment to starts. I'm doing Ragnarock for my Long Dog Leap year. Keep stitching and recording more for us to enjoy.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment and I am so very sorry it has taken me so long to reply! You've just made me smile - it makes me so happy that people enjoy seeing all of the the stitching I do (and start!). I love this community. I think stitchers and some of the kindest people I've ever met. Sending love and thanks.
Ha! I think mine just did too! Far too many things going on. Oh well, we can celebrate our second year, right? Yes, that old man is finally done. He's still waiting for his bath though. I think he likes being smelly...
I love diamond painting too! I have lots of them although no Randall Spanglers. I do have a Ciro Marchetti DP which I haven't started yet. Its just finding the time and space and there is always so much stitching I want to do! I'd love to see some of yours though. If you're on Instagram, tag me there with some pictures!
Congratulations on your finish. Your sheer joy was a pleasure to see, well deserved for shore. I always enjoy your flosstudes and seeing your stitching
Thank you for your lovely comment and I'm so sorry its taken so long to reply! I still haven't framed my finishes...they're still unwashed in a pile! But I'll get there...
Love your flosstube, Nancy, as a mother of 3 adults now, the teen years are crap somehow we do survive, I heard a saying many years ago, parents are the bones that teenagers use to sharpen their teeth on. So true. I feel your pain, but somehow we survive, my children are all adults now, I wish you well.
That’s a fabulous saying. When I’m thinking clearly, I do recognise that my son is using me to test his boundaries because he can’t do it anywhere else. This is important for him. He still loves me (despite what he says sometimes) and I’ll always love him. But it’s nice to get the reassurance that we’ll get through this. Thank you ❤
Ooo I can't wait to see your LDS grow, what a cool way to stitch with all those random colours, I'll have to remember that technique for a monochrome piece that I want to do... It's been fab catching up with you
Thank you, Danielle and yes, you should try it! There are lots of charts out there where colour doesn't matter that much and I can't justify buying more thread when I have so much of it to use up. In fact, I often look for charts now which I can use as 'stash busters', or more specifically, 'rats nest reducers'. It is actually very liberating working with no colour plan. I hope you're well and looking forward to Spring and Summer xx
Congratulations on your finishes, especially good ol' Smokey. I've been following you from your very first video, I do remember your wish of doing 10 stitches a day lol. You sure more than surpassed it 😂. Love all your new starts too :)
Thank you for your comment. I know, isn't it hilarious? I remember at that time thinking there was just no way I'd have the time to stitch more, but somehow I've found the time. I blame this wonderful community. It has just reignited my passion and now all I want to do it stitch. How could we not love this community when it is filled with such lovely, kind people? Sorry it has taken me so long to reply - last month literally ran away with me.
Hi Nancy! I enjoyed your video and for some reason I hadn’t subscribed so I remedied that. You and Karla are both insane, I love the idea of your start fest! I am pretty sure that SQ patterns are PK friendly these days, so maybe if you contact them they would send you the PDF since you already own the paper chart?? Also, I too saw that 2x2 piece on FB and I am crazy about it! I wasn’t going to do it exactly like that photo but the more I think about it, I’m thinking I will. Anyway, happy stitching!!
Thank you for your fabulous comment, Barb, and I am so sorry it has taken me so long to reply! The start fest was fantastic - 15 starts for me. I had a start-rest in April (only 1 start) and now thinking of another 12 in May. I just can't help myself. So many gorgeous projects and then I see yours and Karla's and everyone elses and more and more get added to my list. We are all going to have to live to 250 years old, aren't we?
@@bohemianstitchery1411I’m playing with Zombies. Looking forward to the next round but really hoping to get a couple more members. We’ve lost some people
Grats on finishing Ole Smokey! I admire your ambition in starting all these large full coverage pieces.

Congrats on your finish! I would also love to see your embroidery wips.
