I have so missed you! Very jealous of your blind bag of fabric. And to get that one great chart is even better. I'm not a full coverage stitcher but I live through all your great patterns and stitching. The Butterfly piece is stunning. Thanks for another awesome flosstube. Now get back to stitching for potion ingredients. Sort other kinds me of a D&D game.

I do not know if I want you to finish Old Smokey so soon, because I am going to miss seeing this rascal! I do believe that he is the funniest stitched creature on flosstube, and I watch a lot of flosstubers. :) While you were showing that fabulous Lady and Unicorn tapestry I realised I would love to see it stitch by several women in the same time, like I understood they did tapestry in medieval times, simply because I would love to see it finished. And yes, those two pieces of evenweave - rust and lime - are gorgeous, I would buy something similar if I could find, because I have two portraits - an autumn lady and a spring lady - that would be perfect match. Happy stitching!

Was so nice to watch your progress on all your pieces. The adorable bunny in the hot air balloon! I hope bugs & everyone is doing well after her shock arrival. I'm not game to stitch a HAED, but do love seeing yours. Catch you next time.

Little one is still in hospital but she’s doing great. Her Mum is super fit and super healthy and it seems to have rubbed off on her tiny daughter. Thank you so much for watching. One day I might even finish a HAED - but I just can’t help starting more! I think I’ve got at least another 10 lined up to start next year 🤣

So lovely that you found me. We do wonder, here in Australia, whether we get found by people overseas or not. Kelly and I were actually discussing this and decided it was harder for us down under as UA-cam doesn’t recommend us as much as our US or European counterparts. You’re going to love Kelly. Wait till you see her Firefky! It’s amazing! Thank you for watching ❤️

It's amazing how easy we can chat with another stitcher from the opposite site of the world. Admittedly I already watched all of Kellys videos after watching yours, her firefly is incredible. I just have my stitchy bug back after month of "just sewing" so I browsed through flosstube and stuck with the ones I can identify with or simple have interesting projects. So it was a pleasure to follow you and I will continue. See you on your next one👋

So, given your recent stitching, any thoughts re half stitch vs tent?? I started a new HAED this week w 150000 black stitches!! I couldn’t find a large enough piece of dark fabric to avoid stitching the background so I ended up reverting to my favourite, 28 ct. I’m doing 1/1 full cross for the main image but I’m thinking of 2/1 half or tent for the black. Figured I might as well get input from an expert. ❤

After seeing the coverage on my Ciro Marchetti, I would say definitely go for tent stitch, 2x1 in 28 ct. the stitches sit really snugly with no space at all between them. You can barely tell. In fact, the Contemporary Cross piece I showed, I’m going to do entirely in tent stitch. I figure it’s the only way I’ll have a hope of getting it finished. It is so much quicker. 150000 black! That’s huge! Which design is it?
