I’m very late to the party and only just watched this while ironing 😂. Thanks for the shout out - you are such a sweetheart ❤. Congrats on your pixie, she’s just beautiful and that fabric choice is perfect! As for your beautiful unicorn piece - I’m always pushing for a challenge, so my choice would be the black, however it’s not for the faint hearted. Stitching with a lamp underneath the fabric helps A LOT!!! Hope to see you soon 😘
Hi Nancy, just finished watching all your videos up to this one and still have 2 more to go. Love your finished pixie and hope you all get well soon. I'm a knitter, crocheter and cross stitcher, who also lives in Adelaide and I found you from @TheFlosstubeStitcher . I think both fabrics will work for the unicorn, the dark colour of the leaves is the part I would be worried about on the black. Happy stitching
Thanks for sharing all your stash! It’s all beautiful. I’m not sure about the Carousel. Black is a commitment for sure. Maybe set it aside for a couple weeks, then take a look. Good luck with the recovery on your ankle/leg😊
Love your finish! I agree with one of your other comments, that I would try a chalkboard fabric as well. I am looking forward to seeing your video with the floss storage solutions for your full coverage.
It’s a really good solution, isn’t it. I am really trying to stitch from stash, but for this project (and for my own sanity) maybe I should just bite the bullet and buy another piece of fabric…
Congratulations on the finish. 🎉 Love seeing other people’s stash, those silk flosses were stunning. I will be joining you on the fineartfridaysal as I am halfway through a full coverage piece, Gustav Klimt’s Mother and Child and it will give me a good reason to get it out and stitch on it.

Zinnia looks amazing! I love the "Be so awesome that people think you are a myth". Kelly is one of my favorite Flosstuber's, too.
And I discovered I have more Bewitching Pixies from
Nora so hopefully she’ll have some friends soon!

Your finish is amazing, yes, the fabric works great wit the pixie❤😊
Thank you! I was so pleased with how she turned out.

Really looking forward to seeing it! I’d like to ultimately create my own personal fine art gallery - in cross stitch. One day?
Narwhal, narwhal sitting in the ocean... I want to start that one too but need some dark fabric for it.
That’s the song!! It gets stuck in my head and then I sing it for days 🤣
I refuse to stitch on black, just takes the joy out of it for me. Try " chalk board" fabric which is dark but not black!!
Excellent advice! I was trying to use what I had in my stash, but it may be that for this project I need to rethink…
