Finally trying to catch up on Flosstube videos (can’t believe how far behind I am!). I love, love, love that dragon… and on black it looks so striking!

Yes stitching for your enjoyment is what makes us happy. As long as you are pleased with the stitch that is all that matters. Your Mirabila collection is huge. I bet there are some gorgeous patterns in there. I keep looking at them but have not been brave enough to pull the plug yet. Hope you feel better soon!
I highly recommend trying one. They look intimidating but they’re actually a pleasure to stitch with lots of block colours. Perhaps try a Nora first as they’re a bit smaller but I know you’ll love it. Thank you so much for watching ❤️

Fiery delight is absolutely beautiful! Can’t wait to see the progress on it. I too enjoy seeing the same wips and the progress on them. The smalls that you purchased are really nice and should be a quick stitch and a break from stitching large projects 😊
I fell in love with Firey Delight and I am resisting buying more from that designer but she’s got so many which are just as beautiful. I have started on her now so I am almost feeling like I’m justified getting some more.

Thanks Nancy. I always love your videos. If you’re thinking of journaling your smalls, you might like checking out Laura of Stitching by the Shore. She is really into papercraft and does a lovely job scrapbooking her stitching.
Thank you so much for the recommendation - I will go and take a look. I love this idea of combining scrapbooking with stitching. There’s only so many scissor fobs, ornaments or cards I want around the house but I love stitching smalls on the bus to and from work. So it will be great to see how others do it.
I keep trying to catch up on all the Flosstubes, too. I think it may be an impossible task.
I agree but I still try. I love watching a FlossTuber right from the beginning as by the end I feel like they’re an old friend. But there’s so many out there! But it’s a bit like our stash piles and WIPs, isn’t it? The plan is to finish them all…
Wow I have about five Mira’s and think I have a lot😂😂Actually just started my first one today……I’m also going to the retreat and so thought I had better get stitching. Cant get it into pattern keeper yet and just really dislike paper patterns now. Can’t wait for your parade❤. I’m also just about to start keeping a journal of my stitching so looking forward to what you do
I know your frustration about paper patterns. I don’t like using them either now and Mira’s are so big and cumbersome. I’ve yet to get it into Pattern Keeper myself and that’s not for want of trying. I make an A4 working copy of a section and work on that but it isn’t ideal. I hope one day we’ll be able to use them digitally. I hope to see your progress! And enjoy your retreat ❤️
