Alan is a hero of mine. Era Extrana is one of my all time favorite album. Definitely my favorite winter album. Thank you Alan and Neon Indian friends!

Nah, I totally thought the same thing. It has an edgier sound live, too - the studio version is very glossed over.
Natalie Mae yeah i agree. the only thing i like better about the studio version of this song would be the vocals. and i think that because the studio version is really glossed over like you said, the sounds dont mix as well as they could have.

and that version rocks dood, its like the perfect blend between this live version and the studio version imo.
The singer is so attractive!! This is the 1st time I see how they all look like.
I love hearing them live, everything feels a lot more raw. The studio versions of their songs are a lot more polished but this unpolished version really enhances that indie psychedelic synth vibe.
At 0:50 Alan's got a "Shit, I think I left the garage door open back home" look on his face lol.

Neon Indian is still making music, hes working on a new album right now, his last one was 4 years ago. You should check it out, it's not exactly like chillwave here it's more 80s dance inspired.

The smaller one that looks blue-ish is a Roland SH101, a monophonic analog synthesizer from the early 80's. I also see a Korg MS-20, and a SCI Six Trak. Plus, lots of Moog stuff!
