Try 1998….. i was given a GusGus CD for my birthday. Best ever gift! I became obsessed with them, they used to be a whole group of them now it’s 2 boys and that gorgeous girl from Iceland i guess? Where’s the press on this band? They’re foking’ geniuses from up north! (I adore them, clearly)

Its a very strange thing about this music, you never get tired listening to it. I have listened for almost 10 years, I am now 77 and still like this music. This wonderful live performance is perhaps the best of Gus Gus performances? I think so. And as I understand it, it is one of KEXPs most successful uptakings, a little spontaeus and not so well planned, as the best uptakings always tend to be. I have enyojed if for many years now, and I thank both KEXP and Gus Gus for making my life a little more joyful, listening to this music.

Nobody expected this performance to be so epic. It's so unpretentious that it immediately pulls you in, immerse you in perfect rhythm and it just flows... It's very very hard to outperform something like this. 10/10.

Out of so many catastrophes we have overcome. And once we begin to understand that life isnt to live forever... we will begin to understand to live it right. Until then... hold on and share your emotions with you friends and family. Enjoy them as long as you can. Cause one day you will wake up and everything will be gone. But then you will finally have understood what life means.
I agree, and I am not giving it up at all, I am 75, but I think you speak to young people this time. The temptation to give it up is spread over all ages, but when you are young it is easy to fall and not so easy to rise up. So it is an unfair game. When older, you have more guts. You have lived and learned, not so much perhaps, but still something. And this something is always better than nothing. So I agree, dont give up.

I discovered Gus Gus back in 1999 in London, when a friend from Kazakhstan invited me to their gig. It was unbelievable, I felt like I had finally met someone of my kin, beings from the same universe as myself, who communicate through this music. Ever since, every time I listen to Gus Gus, the feeling returns with waves of goosebumps all over my skin.

This has to be one of the best live music videos ever. It gives me gæsahúð every time I watch it - which is often. But I really wish Urður "Earth" Hákonardóttir could perform again as part of GusGus. Her amazing voice was what made "Arabian Horse" one of my all-time favourite albums!
YES! She is AMAZING and I love the way she sings with Daniel. This is truly Gus Gus at their most powerful together
And my favorite album is"Forever" with Earth and I believe another, uncredited, lady on vocals.

Как же он тащится от того, что делает, этот бородатый дядька. В принципе тут все четыре участника группы выкладываются на полную! Все на аналоговых пультах делают, это очень круто для меня. Это тебе не с макбуком и абелтоном выступать. А когда девушка начинает петь, вы посмотрите на нее, все изнутри идет, как она это делает. Простите за тафтологию, я не музыкант и не композитор. Но для меня этот микс, сет, просто пушка!!!
