Yikes, please use a bigger pot and not fill it so close to the rim with oil when you're deep frying! 😅 I was on the edge of my seat fearing a grease fire any minute through most of that video!
I bought the bean filling and flour from Amazon. Will be making these tomorrow. Thank you for clear measurements. I can’t wait to try these. I subscribed to your channel
My family, relatives and I love to have sesame balls (煎䭔) as a side dish for lunch in Chinese restaurants. For me, I would choose the original (without fillings) and nutella, instead of red beans, a variety of tasting for new/future generations.💫💛 Happy Holidays and Thanksgiving, Miss Angel.🦃❄🍁
I love watching your videos right before I go to sleep because you have such a relaxing vibe -- and my parakeet makes little cooing noises, so I think he likes them too :)
My wife gets these for me as a treat!. In the Philippines, they are called "Bucci", and they usually have them in Filipino Stores here in the Northeast. Never had Nutells ones, but love the Bean paste ones, both red & yellow!
@@angelwongskitchen Next time suggesting using a pot with higher sides or less oil. It's extremely dangerous to have a pot with oil all the way up to the top. Great way to start a kitchen fire that can turn into a house fire. When using heated oil in a pot, always have 1/3 at the top clear of oil. A lot of people who watch these videos do not have experience cooking, particularly with frying with oil.
i put hot boiling water and it became really sticky even though i added a lot of rice flour to make it less sticky.. but i made another one with room temp water and it was better

I tried making this yesterday, and it was a failure for me. The dough was too sticky so I added a cup of flour, but it was still too sticky. I let it sit for 30 minutes and came back to mix it again, but it was still sticky, I had to use a spoon to scoop the dough off my hands. Then, i toss the dough away because it was too difficult to form a ball.
Made some recently and one of them 'popped' so explosively it shot out of the oil, hit the wall, and landed on the floor. Luckily I had stepped away from the stove for a second or I would have got a face full of oil. I am guessing my oil was too hot???
Hi Angel Wow, looks good. But for me, I would have to use a deep frier with temperature setting, so I wouldn't walk away and forget my oil on the stove and burn down the house. Lol Have you been to the dough zone restaurant in renton landing?
The dough was too sticky. I added more flour which helped. Then when I added my Nutella and rolled into a ball it started oozing out. Then the balls weren’t tacky enough for the sesame seeds to stick to them. What a mess
Both are delicious but you can only pick one. Team #Nutella or Team #RedBean? 👇🏻

But I loved the recipe. I'll give it a try soon. 😄
Nutella
Team #RedBean !
I prefer eating the taro paste!
OMG I can't wait to make these at home! I always buy some when I'm at a restaurant that serves them. 😋😋

Yum!!!! I've been craving some, now I have found a simple recipe! Thank you for sharing! Super crunchy yet soft ❤
Very nice and yummy Sesame Balls, thanks for sharing
Thanks for sharing!! I love eating these!
A tasty recipe to make with my teenaged granddaughter who loves to cook.
Thank you!!!
Thank you! So easy and so good 😊
Thank you for this!
Love the videos Angel!
Lovely
Looks easy to make. Can we store uncooked sesame balls in the fridge?
I would recommend deep frying them, then storing in an airtight container (room temperature) after they cool. To reheat you can air fry.
Thank you 😊
I am going to try to cook them in my beloved air fryer. Brush them with enough oil first and pop them in the preheated air fryer.
@@koshka7290 i have purchased them frozen and raw / not pre-fried and they were amazing in the air fryer.
@@koshka7290 mine were frozen, maybe that made a diff? Could be the proportion of dough/filling making them toast and puff instead of fry also?
Red bean 😁…can you use this dough recipe to make the one stuffed with pork?
yes!

Can I use regular rice flour?

Do these deflate after some time? Jw. Looks delicious!
Yummy 😋

how u find this bean paste
This dessert makes me miss my grandma :(
what do i do if the dough is a bit to stickie?

Dough zone in international district was really good!
What do you do with the oil afterwards?
You can reuse peanut oil for another deep fry recipe, but otherwise that's the downside of deep frying.
maybe some jam and peanut butter for a peanut butter and jelly sesame ball

Next time try putting the Nutella into the fridge, and DO NOT use normal flour. You NEED glutinous rice flour for it to work. I hope this helps ^^
no no sir i didnt like it mine burned and the dow simular to mochi yes i get it but sugar has to be good salt too and sesami seads u need 100%%
U burnt it. That would be bitter.
