I Love these guys. The true embodiment of the American spirit! Obviously, their father was a huge role model for them like my Mexican father-RIP. Buena Suerte!
Their father worked as a driver and couple years later the sons bought it, a Mexican kids dream to do for their parents. I hope they keep going strong! When I go this Saturday to visit New York I’ll make sure to buy their products !
As someone who grew up in Bushwick and in the Tortillerias with my dad I'm glad to see my cousins not just thrive but grow and prosper. Blessing always and shout out to Don Pepe because without him taking his risk with the quesos they wouldn't be there today.🇲🇽Piaxtla!
Mad respect for these brothers! I too own and run a small business and seeing these guys warms my heart when the Walmarts and Amazons of the world just want to run you out of business.
bkLEGION3000 monopolization of small businesses is one of the saddest things happening to the world. with soon coming automation i’m somewhat worried but realize it’s inevitable...
@psalm and what's wrong to be proud of your roots ??? Is who you are at the end of the day like YOURSELF if you aren't indigenous to this country your roots will be from another country or even continent and you should be proud because your ancestors DNA runs thru you even if you born in China.
Bushwick Houses....my old stompin grounds. Glad they're able to keep operations in Bushwick still. I'm sure it's tough. $$$ SO SO happy for these 2 brothers. Bet on Brooklyn. Love it. ✌️
I really loved this. I'm an Arizonan born and raised. I love authentic Mexican food. Almost all my friends are part Mexican, My brother-in-law is Mexican. I actually feel sorry for the rest of the U.S. because they have no idea what Mexican food is.
Ah the Mexican culture is so chill and friendly. Walk into a Mexican business and you instantly get the homely vibe, also great food. I'll leave you with the lyrics of a classic Mexican work moral song. "All week long, Boss-man say, Work Mexican work Sing your song, earn your pay Work Mexican work Work, Mexican Sweat, Mexican Toil, Mexican It's your lot in life While people play in the sun all day Work Mexican work"
Ferox M What an idiot if anything people live a lot longer and more peaceful in Mexico it’s a much more simple way of living stress free keep believing everything you see on social media and tv sheep!
so extremely proud of mi gente! to see them become successful & own the business where their Dad started when he came to the US is inspiring. also the fact that 4 women are in charge of packing for a high demand product is astonishing!
Love Mexican food lol workers look happy and business looks like its pumping out the work. Family business looks tight. RESPECT!!!!! Nothing but the best for use. Brother from New Zealand showing some Love❤🤙
Great story! Two brothers Working hard, buying the business the dad use to work for and making it successful as well as looking after the workers and their people! Great story wish them all the best!
I love seeing buisnesses and how they start. I'm currently have a lawncare company that I started when I was 13, I'm almost 17 now and still going at it. Sometimes it seems easier to just go out and get a normal job but things like this are inspiring
These guys inspire me to go all the way and push myself to the max never give up never surrender...thnx for the boost in confidence mi barrio from Brooklyn....stay up brothers!!
It’s seem like you guys achieved the best dream together, and what a tough move, ur father there from a driver to been a boss is amazing feeling. God bless you both.
Rick Martinez from Bon Appetit. You may talk a lot of smack about machine made tortillas but this is what a real American made tortilla is like. Fresh, custom made to a chef's specifications, and from a company run by professionals.
Exactly, this is how it is made, no different than with store bought maseca from the supermarket, except it has time to sour for a day or two on the plastic. It's like using canned tuna for sushi, sure it works, but it tastes very bad compared to real fresh ground corn. The problem with tortillas is scale, you can't really scale, so fresh nixtamal you will only find in mom and pop tortillerias or restaurants, which mostly don't exist in the US, or they used processed flour like this place. Even grabbing the tortillas fresh of the machine will be very inferior to fresh ground.
Good on you guys for supporting your people !! My not a religious person, but GOD Bless you both and your loyal associates!! I hope you encourage your folks to register and VOTE..... ✌️❤️😁
Barrios need a QC manager because all I see are a bunch of people handling fresh tortillas with no gloves and wearing rings, I'm like wtf they get health inspector in their and they'll get shut down faster than a taco gets soggy. not to mention the way they move fresh produce with other products that shouldn't be close in the vicinity.
This video gave me the inspiration of one day owning my own business; its a hustle, but if they're able to find away i can too. Gotta start small and build.
Jarritos is nectar of the gods. There aren't many great places to get tacos in D.C. But when I find Jarritos, it reminds me of growing up in California with my Mexican American family.
Deisy Sanchez yes its not the best choice! But. I rather drink Mexico 🇲🇽 coke then the ones in the state lol 😂 and yea water is life but 1 every once in awhile wont kill you!
People need to see how eg. their coffee is harvested, processed, and packaged. If you think dirty hands are an issue, you really don't understand how food (or germs) work...
@@Hahahahaaahaahaa - It is just not hygienic. In for instance NL, such a company would be either (hugely) fined or downright closed at the first inspection, by the food-safety authorities... Also: No covering of the mouth; there's hair coming through the head-covers; no hygienic clothing (just their own regular clothes?)... Brrr... Maybe it is a cultural thing?

i lived across the street from this place; right next to the cheese factory! awesome to see the old hood and what went on inside
