- Jackson Wang is throwing a dinner party to celebrate the end of Chinese New Year. There’s just one problem: Who’s bringing the dumplings? As an international singer, rapper, and dancer, Jackson doesn’t get to do much cooking on the road, so he’s enlisting the help of dumpling masters Hannah and Marian Cheng of Mimi Cheng’s in NYC. From their mother’s secret fried dumpling recipe, to a chili-oil wonton made specifically for Chinese New Year, Hannah and Marian give Jackson a crash-course in all the potsticker protocol. just a small disclaimer: When Jackson asks the grandma to rate his dumplings at 7:34, he's not saying "master", he's asking her to be honest. both sound like "lao shi" but with different intonations on the word "shi" so it was meant to be "say it honestly/be honest" and the translator probably just confused it. doesn't change much but thought a heads up might be useful!

Just like when you see Jimmy Kimmel interview people on the streets they would state which city and state they're from. Besides, Jackson's dad is from the Mainland and he also represented them during his youth athletic days and now he spends most of his time outside Korea in the Mainland filming programmes so i'd assume he wouldn't need to specify he's from hongkong now because he's already fluent in Mandarin.
