Mr. Dangerfield !
R.I.P. !
God broke the mold after he made Rodney Dangerfield!!
His wife would have said they broke the mold before they made Rodney, but that's just her opinion.
@@williamkerr2121 underrated comment lol
@Ronald McReynolds That is likely the case!!!
Legend
…”So ugly that when walks into a room mice jump on chairs”…that’s just brilliant.
Sure wish he was still around because then he could host the Oscars and kill it amongst one of several things we need him around for ...
You wish indeed. Rodney was good - great? - for 5 or 10 mins tops. He never accepted or sought to host anything because he knew was unable to pull it off. And nobody would have wanted him that long. Short and sweet was his specialty.
@@richardscott8503 Nonsense, he was a headliner in Vegas. He can hold his own for as long as he plans to.
@@Icemario87 guys like Rodney could read the yellow pages out loud and you'd laugh. Miss him
@@richardscott8503 step away from the crack pipe.
Saw Rodney once on an airplane. My 10 yr old told him a joke: my friend’s so ugly he had to tie a pork chop around his neck to get the dog to play with him. Rodney said, that’s phyliss diller’s joke!
Loved this man, a true comedian, gone are the days we laughed real hard
My Dad loved Mr. Dangerfield. I love watching him. He was one of the greats- and always will be. I miss him and my Dad. I also know he had a rough life like many of us, and to still get up and make people laugh is a courageous act. I have depression and it helps to watch him when I wake up with the same heaviness that he would speak of in his act. He turned it to laughter which is the best medicine. Heaven has some great talent. 🌟
“Nice tuxedo, huh? Underneath torn underwear.”
Brilliant opener!
HE's gonna come out killin' it. Everyone's sitting on thier hands until James Woods tosses in the softball. lol. Then It's ON
For a guy whose catch line was 'no respect', EVERYONE in show business respected Rodney.
My hero. Rodney says out loud what we mortal men only think.
Love the way the jokes kept rolling while announcing the nominees
I love GOLDIE said, "RODNEY DANGERFIELD in a sexy voice."
And also in a way, almost fearful. It was honestly great entertainment. I remember when award shows where like this.
"I got my nephew a bow and arrow for Christmas, he got me a t-shirt with a bullseye on the back".
Got to meet Rodney when he was filming Back To School at my college campus. He had a trailer parked right in the quad that he stayed in.
Was he a nice guy in person...?
@@jhmorris3486 oh yeah. Called me "kiddo".
Does he not look like a nice guy?! Did u see him tear up each time he made people laugh?! You imbisol
@@vinnievalentine421 "You imbisol" Get back to us when you identify the irony.
Rodney killed it with every joke that's why he's the GOAT of one liners 👏👏👏
I love how he adjusts his bow tie LOL
... He's making sure Hillary isn't trying to suicide him😂
Was at the improv in the late 70's and he popped in and did a set. I'm still laughing. It was very "dirty" and he did one joke after another. What a treat.
When she goes to the bank they turn off the cameras. I laughed so hard
*Nice they let Rodney slip in material during the presentation .... lol*
❤❤❤
A classic short by the man himself, Rodney, introduced by one of my first crushes, Goldie. Yes UA-cam!
Rodney said when he was booked on Carson it would take him 3 months to perfect the five minute routine he would use. It had to be right. It always was. I'm sure it was the same for presenting this award. I know I saw this when it happened back in 87 but it was like hearing it for the first time after all these years. Thank you.:o)
Went to Dangerfields
In Manhattan as one of my stops during prom night 1979, also went to Hawaii Kai, and windows of the world on top of the World Trade Center, remember pressing my nose against the glass window and looking straight down to the Streets can’t do that today,RIP
King of the one-liners and my comedic idol!
i asked the taxi driver.. take me to where the action is... He took me to my HOUSE!!!.. he was the best!!
Perfect category for him to present. Another 🎁 from Rodney! Best there ever was. ❤️🩹
Oh man, this was Gold!!! Comedy so much better without raunchy nonsense all the time.
Erich Hudson I’ve been watching allot of Dangerfield lately I’ve grown tired of the vulgarity of these new comedians
Always fantastic, a real one-man-show!
