Thanks the most detail of any video I have ever seen. I f I didn't know better you worked for insta Pot. I heard the other day some Dummy had their Pot Blow up. It happens when you fill past the fill line. You pointed that out like a Wall street Attorney. Good Job
What a great recipe. I just started following you, my first video, you are an excellent teacher. I will be pressure canning these recipes. So excited to listen to your channel. ❤️🇺🇸❤️💐 Bell, Florida
Finally🎉!!! I learned how to use this iNSTAPOT😅😂 Im old school and new tech kitchen stuff intimidate me! Thank you 🙏🏼 Im a visual learner and all the suff on here helped me greatly!😊
I did it for 12 minutes, but I did not cook the beans very well so I went for another 20 minutes and that apparently work and no I did not soak them prior. I just put them in but at least 25 minutes other than that it’s great soup we love it. Thank you.
Hello Voo Dude....the Instant Pot is really just a pressure cooker, so you can use any stovetop or electric pressure cooker the same way. Or use the slow cooker for a slower cook, but still the same hearty lentil soup. Bon Appetite, and thanks for the comment....enjoy the soup!
Thanks for the clear and concise method. I love how you gave measurements for the vegetables and the water I could easily substitute whatever vegetables I have on hand I think I will make this tonight.
@@TikkiOOO exactly. i started using it after a surgery so i didn't have to stand and hover over the stove and i've never looked back. i wound up having to get a larger one! air fryer is next. thanks for the video.
Some say that soaking lentils, beans or peas in well salted water, then rinsing before cooking, helps them turn out better. Haven't tried this yet, but plan to give it a try soon. Garbanzos especially are supposed to be much better this way.
Hello Vive, thanks for the advice! I don't know if its necessary with a pressure cooker, but when I cook over the stovetop I find soaking helps reduce the cooking time. I never tried soaking in salted water....interesting! Thanks for the comment!

Thanks for this great recipe. I make it all the time now!
What a beautiful kitchen !…..oh yeah, the soup looks good, as well…..
It was!
Doesn’t sautéing the veggies a lot prior turn them to mush while the lentils are cooking? Or is that the point? Looks delish either way 😋
This was So Extra delicious! Thank you!
My method lentil rice had no pressure release
Use rice function to get lentil rice I did
Will it be good without a bell pepper

Thank you for the straightforward detailed instructions and recipe. I cut ingredients in half since I have a 3 quart instapot. Turned out delicious.
