Since the first time I saw your beautiful family I have enjoyed watching you cook together. The children are so nice & polite. It is amazing how experienced they are at doing these cooking chores. My goodness, Rachael can chop that celery better than I can. Such a good mommy to work so loving & patient (and often) with the children! The children even know what results to look for when they are doing the cutting, chopping...that is experience, so we know they "help" often! You are teaching the children such a great thing for them to know...and how to not waste anything! Mmmmm, it all looks so good. That pot is chucked full of the nice, delicious, fresh goodness! Ready in just 15 minutes!!! I never thought of rising bread in the I pot! You can lay a damp dish cloth over the spewing valve & it spews into the cloth! But, the flavors blend so well while the I pot is releasing the pressure on it's own that it is worth the wait! I have never seen or heard of that bread before...delic!!!!! Thank you for this 101 class!!! hugs to you all, Judie
I have had this on all night 😂.. And as far as I got was chopping the veggies...and trying to find my instapot,,,and taking down my Xmas tree 😂..great show..now I'm gonna get down to business 👍👍
Thank you for the interesting video. All of my mother's side of the family is from Italy. I was not expecting to see the same kind of passion for preparing food from this channel. You must have some Italian blood in your family somewhere, haha. I also slow saute my veggies in a big pot as I prepare my Lentil Soup. I have never tried making my soup in my Instant pot. As you said, Lentils do not need as long to cook as other dried beans and they do not have to soak before cooking. I just bring my soup to a boil then lower to simmer for about an hour or s. How do you know your soup is done? Well you know it is done when the magic happens. The soup just reaches a point where all the ingredients breaks down and then recombine into something delicious. I like a little more spice so I add some crushed red pepper when I spice my soup. I also add a dash of Sriracha and at the end just a few drops of pure sesame oil. I have never tried cooking my Lentil soup in my instant pot. I have a small 3 quart pot so I will see if 1 lb of lentils is too much for the pot. In the past I think I have cooked some items too long in my instant pot and the pressure just pulverizes the food. I like the texture I get from my lentils when I make them in a pot. I
Hi Terry, the Instant Pot Duo would probably be the easiest to operate and get the hang of. Unless you have a very large family or like to cook large batches, the 6 Qt should be plenty big for you.
My first time seeing this family. Love their sweet spirit. Great video..
Welcome!! Thank you for watching!
What a lovely young lady. She is very skilled in the kitchen. Great job teaching her.
Thank you so much
Rachel is adorable...and the food looks fantastic!
Your daughter did a fantastic job and explaining and showing us how to cut/chop a onion. 😊🥰
Thank you! I'm very blessed by their cooking skills!
My first video of yours. You are both so delightful and give excellent instruction 😁

Update,,completed the task,,just have to say,,this is truely the best recipe I have made this winter 👍👍😍👏👏
Thank you! I think I’m going to make this tomorrow! It’s so cold here!!
We're probably going to make it here also, we're expecting a very cold few days. Hope you enjoy it!
I learned a new way to dice onions. I have always sliced horizontally a few times before vertically. But, your way seems safer. Thank you!
What is the easiest instant pot for beginners?

Making it again...thank God I are still on Instagram 😅
But I still soak my beans,,,out of habit 😂
I think the beans cook better after soaking, even in the Instant Pot!
