Very nice and I appreciate your keeping things moving without a lot of music, stories, etc etc. I am not vegan but this is tempting. I just got used to my Instant Pot and I love it…….thanks for the great ideas.
Just remember We are watching HER channel with her ideas! It’s obviously EXTREMELY tough going from an ACIDIC to ALKALINE diet /lifestyle . I can’t THANK Everyone Enough who share There ideas . With out These alkaline recipes UA-camrs , I’d be eating Green leafy salads again with Raw veggies FOLLOWED by 2 nice cups of SPRING water 😅 All y’all are a blessing to me, Keep um coming, Thank you!!
Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video. I made the vegan gluten-free recipe for myself and it was fabulous. My kids came home from school, I used with regular pasta, onions, and rosemary. Also used better than bullion in the water and followed the basic formula. They loved it!
Thank you. I did 2 of your meals (rice and pasta meal) and it was fast and delicious. Please make more, I'm saving money and eating healthy - thanks again
I made the curry lentils and rice dish. It was sooo good! And it makes the perfect amount for two or three leftover meals. I never really thought to put rice and lentils in the instant pot at the same time. Thank you!
I made the curried rice with lentils last night. Had to leave out the onion because hubby and I are allergic to onions. All four family members gave this two thumbs up. It was delicious! Looking forward to trying some more of your recipes.
I will definitely try the first and last of these, but probably not the middle one. But hey, two out of three for a new visitor to your channel - I'd say that's pretty good going! I've subscribed. I look forward to seeing more of this kind of thing. I've not had an Instant Pot for long, and I'm keen to eat simple vegan "dump and go" recipes, with lots of veggies! I am excited to learn a whole new way of cooking and eating! :-D
I followed your recipe to the tee except, I didnt have peppers and I used some veggie broth to saute and a tiny bit of better than boullion. This is the second time I'm making it and I love this as a meal prep staple. I also used only one box of pasta but that really works for me.
Appreciate these very easy "vegan" instant pot recipes! My bf is "vegan" and we're always looking for healthy home-cooked options which are easy so we can both make them anytime! Yummy and easy - perfect :) thank you ! --oh we've made the "curried rice w/lentils and peas" and that was yummy! --and we literally add garlic and onions to like almost everything! lol :) so yum!
Thank you for your simple, delicious looking recipes - I needed the inspiration, but in this summer heat am looing for easy low-prep meals that can be prepared in the IP without heating my kitchen. I also appreciate your straight-forward presentation, without all the zany "humor" (which is often annoying and not funny) and look-at-me fancy outfits, nails and hairdos. I am subscribing! Thanks again.
I make short grain brown rice and brown lentils. Double water and cook for 3 minutes on multigrain function. Yeap 3 minutes. Natural release after 30 minutes. The rice and lentils cook In the steam rather. I put my timer on my clock so I don’t forget. Works with wheat berries and oat groats too. I dont like long grain brown rice I will have a go at the pasta and the soup. Look yummylicious yummy 😋
If we wanted to make half the servings on that last recipe, do we need to half the pressure time too? These all look so delicious, can’t wait to make them! Thank you!
It's such a relief to see recipes that doesn't use processed foods, except the pasta. Do you think lentils would make a good substitute for the meat substitute?
I just bought one of these at Walmart tonight. an instant pot. 8 quart 13 types of cooking. $109. I may practice my Veganism in Paris france. I wanna get free college. You can go all the way to masters. Maybe $1000 a year max tuition. The desert and Joshua Tree CA is already frustrating me. Rent out my house here in CA to keep it. And learn French in France.
Ooo, making the lentil pasta for sure. I just found your channel and am pleasantly surprised you're vegan. YaY! (wasn't sure when I 1st saw the TJ's beef substitute).
Pre soaked (24 hrs) hominy corn and un-soaked lentils with onions, diced carrots with various spices make a tasty and sustainable meal. Best device for cooking hominy corn in 35 or so minutes plus time for natural release.
Just finished a big bowl of #2, Lentil Pasta. O...M...G, woman! It was so good, will def be going in a rotation for me. Was thinking as I was eating it that carrots would tase good in it, maybe for next time. Do have a question on # 1 (Curry rice & Lentils). I don't have brown rice, but a whole ton of white rice. What modifications to the cook time would there be?
Helen Cherry I’m so glad you liked it! ☺️ hmmm I’ve never made it with white rice. I’m not sure if the lentils and white rice have the same cook time! The rice might be too squishy and lentils undercooked but you could try 10 minutes? Sorry I’m not 100 percent sure!
This video is fantastic! The food looks delicious! Your instructions are so helpful! So visually pleasing! I make cooking videos too and I’m just so thankful to be inspired by fellow talented creators. I learned something new. I hope we can learn more from each other!
Thanks for truly simple, inexpensive one-pot meals with normal ingredients you can get anywhere. Appreciate the efficiency of your videos and realistic recipes. Thank you.
Thank you for these! That first one is exactly what I was looking for-something quick and easy with curry that I can just set and forget. Such a great vid, thank you again! :D
One thing I enjoy adding to any stew is sweet potatoes. This is a veggie I don't normally eat I prefer the normal variety of potato but in a stew they are great.
I love my instant pot and I gotta try some of these! My rice always turns out mushy in the IP tho... so I usually just do rice in a regular pot. Pasta always turns out good for me but I find with tomato based sauces I get the burn notice a lot! Whenever that happens tho I just keep letting it cook and just check it every once in awhile. It still works and nothing gets burnt so I have no idea why it does that!
Tomatoes are just kinda finicky in an ip. It can help to mix everything else up then just pour the tomatoes on top and sealing the ip, not mixing in the tomatoes. The flavour is still distributed, but I haven't had an issue with the burn notice doing it that way.
This was the first recipe I made in my instant pot... I followed all the directions except I made a grave mistake... I forgot to press start and let it sit there for 20 mins thinking it was cooking the whole time 😭 Then I started it without bothering to check how much liquid had been absorbed 🙈
All 3 of them look delicious! I see the lentil pasta every time I go to Trader Joe's, but have never bought it. I've been worried that its grainy... But maybe now I'll give it a try! Thanks for the recipes!

No. Same cooking time.

I have to try the pasta 😍 it looks soooo yummy! My favorite ipot dish is Indian red lentil soup, it’s pretty much like dal, but not 100% authentic.
You can wash brown lentils and rice before you cook. It will clean all residuals.
It look good.
Great simple recipes. Thanks!
Been looking for some good instant pot recipes. Happy I found you! 😋

Hello, what size instant pot are you using with these recipes?
The lentil soup looks delicious, wanted to ask if I could freeze it?
Hi & thanks for the reciep. How many dishes does the last one gain? Thanks
This looks amazing. Where can I find this recipe? Also do you have a cookbook I may purchase? Thank you
What brand is your garlic masher?
Love lentil soups too! Is there a reason you did a natural release when the lentil soup was done?
Great video.
I have to pare them down for one
Thank you from io2a.
was that cilantro or celery leaves you put on top
The best is no salt “kitchen essentials” vegetable broth
Can I print a recipe somewhere?
I love you Chanty!
It would be very helpful if you add the recipes in the sidebar.
Sorry, but is there a written recipe anywhere? Very difficult to prep the ingredients from a verbal only recipe. Thanks.

3:48 lentil pasta noodles 🤤🤤🤤🤤 looks so yummy! I’d add some steamed broccoli after the pasta is cooked though. 🍝 🥦
I made the red lentil pasta tonight and it was both easy and delicious! I will make it often!
The red lentil pasta dish reminds me of Goulash when I used to eat meat growing up. SOOO comforting.
I dream about the pasta dish lol one of my faves
Made the pasta recipe last week. My husband loved it! Said it reminded him of Beef-A-Roni, only better!

Super easy and quick recipes! Yum. Also, great presentation and recording. Nice and clear.
I cant find the written recipe anymore even on your site link for future reference
