I would like to see a segment about variegated leaves complete with views of the petiole.
Monstera Mint propagation always start out as Albo and then develop the mint variegation as the plant matures. They're so cool!

Kaylee, yes, cane begonias can and do make new shoots down the stem. I´d not cut it yet and wait a bit. Maybe a stick to support might help?
I was not a begonia person either, until I saw some stunning beauties that totally converted me to being a certain begonia person :-D
For propagating begonias (cane & rex): it goes really well in water - American begonia society has some cool tips on that on their website.

Even if you figure out what type of Anthurium ‘mysterious dark boi’ is… You should still name that cultivar, because it’s funny!
I absolutely adore the Homalomena, it going back to smaller leaves feels so precious lol
For the begonia, you can cut it to promote new growth but I found that once completely rooted they tend to branch out by themselves.

Cane begonias can bud from the stem--they often grow into branchy shrubs in the wild. I hope yours is indeed branching for you! good luck!

If you are worried that the begonia will die, you can propagate it not through the stem but through the leaf, just break it off and put it in the moss(I like to do that in moss Prop Box I just I leave it there for several months and I have a new begonia)❤
I got my Panda as a starter plant. Over the course of the winter I chopped it up and grew it out. Now there are five plants in the pot and it's huge and beautiful!

The syngonium panda is beautiful! I saw one and a few others online and was going to buy them. The shipping was outrageous! I'm going to have to work a lot of overtime to afford them. Cane begonias are a mystery to me yet, but I'm loving the little rex begonias! They grow like mad!
I have a begonia that is growing back from the nodes where the leaves had fallen off (I let it dry out many times on accident 🙄 Happens to those plants that I don’t love as much. Lol) But it’s looking good!

It's sad how we think we're superior to the rest of the world here, yet live in conditions that resemble mid 20th century... Parcel cost is 1 thing, availability another and not to mention that some of these plants we'll never get cuz of the rules for import...
You must have a special adansonii varigated. Mine always goes full white after a few leaves. 😢
I would cut the begonia the stem will branch out for sure and the tip should be easy to propagate like all begonia. I break mine by hand and stab it straight into the pot 😅 it's harder to grow from leaves but stem I don't really do anything break and it pot straight away
I had a homalomena do that as well! New leaves were way way smaller and looked quite ridiculous clustered in the middle just like that one you have there. It never reverted back to normal :(

So I wouldn’t chop the begonia i would just do leaf propagations(I either remove the leaf with the stem and throw it in water OR if it’s just half of the torn leaf as long as the veins are there I can get them growing in soil) and let the bottom bald part of the stem continue to push out more growth, they can branch out 😊

Pinch the top growth point off your begonia and it will branch out of those lower nodes! ❤

Love your videos! Begonia can definitely activate buds on the stem, i had a maculata drop to 2 leaves, i snipped the top and now have a full plant again. id assume it works with all of them?

Didn't you say in a prior video that mint variegation is simply a variegated plant that developed variegation in layers and isn't really a separate "type" of plant? I feel like I heard that somewhere and can't remember now 🙈.

Oh yes I nip them back and the branch out of the bare stem at the nodes. And they root from leaf or stem.
Begonia absolutely do bud again lower down the stem. Mine is doing this right now. Yours is beautiful!

How are people giving good reviews about the feed when it literally hasn’t been out long enough for it to take effect? Just curious to know more about it because I would like to order from the US.
@AmericanaGardens I left a review on Amazon, and noticed a difference after a couple of months. The anthuriums and orchids (brassavolas and epidendrum parkinsonii) have never grown so fast!
