It's stunning. I picked this up in the full white version, nodate. Put it on a dark drown leather strap and it is truly, a one watch collection. I can't go wrong with this watch. Plus my wife loves it too!
These are beautiful, I love mine. I just wish they went with 18mm lug width instead of 19mm though. Also I milled clasp would have been nice, instead of the pressed one. But I can forgive those minor things due to the watch just being so damn good looking.
Hey.. thanks for the comment. personally.. i just think this color is a better all rounder ! i just think anything darker would limit it's versatility a bit more. Thanks
Beautiful watch and great review! I have three of the no date bicompax models. One on a Guy Freres ladder bracelet, one on a navy blue Barton racing strap and one on a double locking mesh bracelet. I love the DB5 on the back which just says everything about 1964! All three definitely punch way above their weight!
I have this exact watch. White Panda with no date. I really do love the watch, but if truth be told, I wish it was just slightly bigger (maybe 39-40mm). Other than that, I really like it and was lucky I got it before they sold out.
@@omfghaxpixel8091 That's hard to say. It is a bit on the small side. It looks good on my wrist, but my wrist is also on the small side (about 7-7 1/8 inches). It looks good on my wist, but depending on how much bigger your wrist is it might look too small. If your wrist isn't much more than maybe 7-1/4" it would probbly be fine, but if you have very large wrists, it might look a tad too small on yoru wrist. But then that might just be a matter os taste too.
I've a question for you George. Let me preface it by saying I envoyed this and the three or four others I've watched in the past day or two, and I really like tht is Dan Henry. I'm intrigued about your accent - you sound like you're either Irish or you perhaps learned English in Ireland (I'm Irish btw). Also, would you prefer this one over the '62 version? I get the feeling that I just want both
Hey , Thanks for the comment and the support. I new English before coming to Ireland and cought the accent along the way. I think you can't go wrong with either but for me this is the best looking. Thanks again
Hey, im really debating buying this watch but i don’t know if i should choose him or the sugess panda. Everything about this watch i like more then the sugess but sugess uses mechanical seagull movement witch I really like and is cheaper, so if you had any experience with this watch, what would you suggest i buy?
Hey hey. Sorry for the late reply. I can say that I've passed on this wat h to my wife who's is not as gentle as I was with it and it still holds up. I was concerned that the crystal would scratch but it's still impecable. I also have a Sugges with that movement but clearly the DH is a much better watch and more appealing. Hope that answers your question.
Hi mate! Nice video, thanks! I have exactly this model. The main issue is very poor legibility, the hands blend into the dial. Moreover, I'd rather say a strap (albeit maybe not the OEM one) is a more formal option while a bracelet is a more informal one. Cheers!
Hey man.. thanks for the comment. I think it depends how see it .. because for me , the bracelet could do it all..since it's not so easy to put in! Thanks again for your time
Hi, great video. I notice you have a 6.3 inch wrist. Would this watch be too big on a 6 inch wrist? You mention it wears bigger than the dimensions suggests and that concerns me because my wrist is really for 36mm watches, and a 38mm watch is on the edge of my size limit. The problem is, there just aren't many options sub $300 chronograph options for 36mm watches
Hey there, thanks again for the comment and support. I passed on to my wife and she wears it proudly. She has a smaller wrist and I think it still looks good. It wears bigger than the dimensions would suggest but it's not a big watch at all. Hope this clarifies it. Thanks again
@@davidb-h6709 you're most welcome, I really appreciate the support. I still post videos, but this is not my main job , just a hobby so not as much volume but I do it for fun! Thanks again for supporting the addiction 😂
Sounds like a pretty good value for money time piece. Thank you for the review, George 👍🏿 If I had to buy a chronograph, I'd buy agaib a Graf Zeppelin with alarm, although that falls into a different price range. Personally, I can't understand the functionality of a chronograph. When I have to time things, I simply use the bezel on a diver style piece that I usually wear. Chronos look too dressy and fragile for my taste.
Hey.. thanks for the comment my man. To be honest.. I think very few people actually use the functions on a watch like that but to be honest on this.. for me .. the size , the look they do it all.. I'm willing to overlook a few things just because it looks sooooo good! Thanks again
I feel the opposite, divers are too sporty for me lol. I like the dress look of a Chrono while also being casual with a leather strap. They offer more interesting dial that makes you want to look at it more. To each their own 😁
Hey .. thanks for the comment .. to be completely honest .. none of them are bad choices .. the only concern that I would have is the legibillity outdoors .. but apart from that it's a killer design regardless! thanks again
@@roryhenderson6236 Oh yes.. very comfortable.. but bare in mind.. that the crystal is only sapphire coated .. not actually sapphire .and the water resistance .. is not as high.. only 50m to my knowledge.. regardless I would recommend it and buy it in a heart beat again if I had to .

One of the nicest panda dials in my opinion, very well executed. Thanks for the review George!

Used to own this.
Great watch.
Readability not too good.
Now have the 'evil panda' version.
Also bad readability but good looking..
I’m stuck between this and the white panda dial which would you recommend

Very nice. I wish there was no blue AR coating. A clear AR is more vintage. And why not an acrylic crystal as in the seagull 1963

I think they were going for a more modern design with it.. I love it to be honest for what it is! Thanks again
does it slide under a cuff?

I will never understand why any company would make any watches with 19 or 21 mm lugs 🤦

19 and 21 definitely DETRACT lots and lots of potential buyers.

With the fact that you have to buy an extra leather strap for 45 dollars do you think it’s worth it

Not the best anything with the Seagull about....
That garbage clasp on a no-name watch priced over $300 is offensive.
