Never realised what a nice watch this was and also what a nice price it is also, 19mm strap should not be an issue most Seiko 5's and Orient 3 Stars are 19mm straps so they should be well catered for.
Wow! My first view of your channel. Incredible videography and the most complete review of the DH 1964 I’ve ever seen. I’m on the fence between the 1964 and the 1962 chrono. Did you consider the 1962? If so what was the deciding factor in your decision? New subscriber!
You convinced me into buying one. Got the evil panda and can't wait to receive it ! I just really want to put it on a vintage racing strap (can't decide between black or cognac...). But I only find them in 20mm width, can you tell me if there is a chance it fits ? Thanks in advance, and keep up the excellent work !!
@@nikolaiwestgate8373 couldn't be happier... I always receive compliments wearing it! Already bought two other leather straps for it and just changing them like every week! Perfect quality for the price!
Hector Morena I know, can you imagine? It would be seriously awesome. It would depend on the movement of course, but there’s some pretty sturdy mechanical chronos from Miyota for instance. I’d say it would be at least double the price if it was mechanical
@@WIAAWatchReviews The Dan Henry 64, which is a chronographs but it is also a dress watch, reminds me in its size and design to the Longines Heritage. That watch is around the 2k mark.
Another microbrand with a Seiko mecaquartz which is becoming as ubiquitous as the Nh35 and the notoriously noisy rotored Miyotas. I would prefer the Alpha panda with the Seagull St19 movement as I really don't like quartz watches.
Random Watch Videos it’s a bit weird indeed, but that 1mm makes quite a bit of difference visually - perhaps DH was most interested in getting a vintage feel
Why does it kill the watch? There are plenty of 19mm straps out there. Most vintage Seiko’s have 19mm lug widths as well, so there are options out there.
@@kpro1890 Does not kill it but it wounds it seriously for people who like changing straps often. There are NOT many 19 mm straps if you're looking for a quick release and none of them in racing perforated leather.
That is one of the most eyecatching watches I've ever seen. A really stunning colour, design and finish with an incredible price tag. I'm sold.
Just got mine. I got the no date version. Stunning!
Your best work yet ... love it, hope to see more of this piece on the channel ! Have ordered one from DH
Kuok Liang Chin thanks! You won’t be disappointed.
Great review. Just bought the silver panda with 2 sub dials.

Rod Panhard very true. There’s no doubt this is one of my all-time favourite affordable watches going.
Love the detail in this review. A watch lover's dream. Keep it up!
Thanks so much for your feedback!
Nice work on the close ups, Great level of detail. (I bought one)
Excellent review. I'm having a great time with my no-date panda. Not having any trouble finding 19mm straps either.
Great, thanks for sharing!
I'm holding my breath that I'll get a no-date panda once they restock!
Good looking watch, nicely sized too.
MrBacchus18 yes you don’t get many watches this size, it’s quite refreshing
Great review Joshua... I like the design of this Carrera-type chronograph, and have one incoming already!
Mark khor awesome, you won’t regret your decision
Great review! I think I'm sold. Now to choose which version I like best.
really good review. Perhaps a little long but I do love the look of the Dan Henry offerings
thanks very much, sorry for rambling on a bit!
Better to ramble a bit than say nothing at all :)

FYI - 20mm leather straps will fit in this watch just fine.

It came with the leather strap already on, or with the bracelet on? Is it difficult to switch between the two? Any tools you need?
Hey mate, does it have lume?
God fucking damn why does no one say if it does splits or not? Very nice feature in a chrono.
How do you find the blue ar coating on the crystal? Is it too much?
No not at all, it’s just enough to make it look flashy and inpressive
@@WIAAWatchReviews great. Thanks for the reply!
How much would this exact watch cost if it had a decent mechanical movement instead of quartz?

I’ll stick to my Alpha Daytona

The 19mm lugs kill this watch, it seems like such a dumb move from DH.

$250 for a quartz watch??? Nope. Nice review.THANKS FOR SHARING.
Valdi str8shaver well technically it’s mecha-quartz 😅

@@RecicledCanadian link to a cheap, ugly, Chinese watch? I'll take a quality Quartz over that crap. 😋
It’s a chronograph, genius. Obviously you don’t know anything about watches.
Mecha quartz this one
This watch is disappointing: very small case, poor lisibility... Moreover the bracelet is very difficult to put on.
