Update: Interestingly, the Islander width is 13mm, this is 13.5mm however to me it feels like the opposite.

How are you finding the legibility of the watch? I tend to find that silver hands can sometimes get lost in the watch face... does this happen with the 1962?
Also, you black strap has white stitching? Was that a custom order or does the 1962 default black strap now come in white stitching?
Did u have to pay any shipping fees when ordering this watch to Australia? I'm in Melbourne and have heard about others paying really high shipping fees when ordering from Canada. Thanks :)

Dan Henry watches are nice but for the money, sapphire should be included that's why I refuse to buy one! Greeting from Perth WA..
@@perthwatchgirl I've never scratched a crystal either but if I'm paying $400 AUD I want sapphire! Other micro brands can do it so can Dan. Cheers and nice collection you have.
@@NathanChisholm041 Not having a sapphire crystal is a deliberate choice. A plexiglass crystal gives a warmer glow to the dial and was used in the vintage models on which Dan Henry often bases his designs
The case is a pure copy of the omega speedmaster's one...coll watch well finished but nothing new
