Every time I see Bob interact with his fans it touches my heart. He certainly made Grizzly feel special when he gave him attention. Bob knows what high esteem many people have for him. I saw another video with no sound in which a timid older woman approaches Bob for a graph. She is afraid to look him in the eye the timidly says "Thankyou". Bob Dylan is a special human being with a deep love of people that's for sure. As was said at the end of this video---WE LOVE YA BOB!!!
I like how the kid mentions Judas Priest, and Bob doesn't tell them how Judas Priest got there name from his song, Ballad of Frankie Lee and Judas Priest.
@@Angel-cd5qq How so. The guy couldn't even press a button on a camera. If I was in his place, a certified once in a lifetime event when the planets align and you cross paths with Dylan in a good mood, I'd sure want that picture too.
When I was living in Washington DC I was standing on the street one day in front of a book store and reading a map of the downtown area. This dude walks out of the store and says ' it doesn't matter which way you go in this town ' . and sits on the sidewalk behind me with his back against the building. I just smiled and nodded but as I glanced back I had to do the double take. It was Dylan , by himself. He opened and started reading a book called A Stillness at Appomattox by Bruce Catton . I told him I was planning to visit Antietam and he said ' you'll enjoy it, its just as it was in September 1863' . We had a nice conversation til a girl pulled up in a big yellow Bonneville sedan and Bob said. ' Here's my ride , nice talkin' to you ' and got in .

This is some of my favorite Bob Dylan video footage outside of his musical performances. He is just relaxed and hanging out with everyday, normal folks, signing autographs and taking pictures. I like the beginning where he is talking to young kids about the heavy metal bands they are fans of.

It's refreshing to get a good long amount of time with him just hanging out and his being engaging with the kids. This film will live on forever for those people, most especially the kids. I hope Bob's doing well these days.
Ha-ha, that awkward, unnatural "I feel like I know ya and I'm nervous, so Imma hug ya" hug-thing from that big ol bear was so sweet, we see it creating a caricatured little moment for the female companion to follow. Everyone's not there. An awkward, idol moment.

Well there it is, the human side of Dylan! The legend side is a little different. He has had it all, houses, lands, wives, children, fame and fortune. All with tribulation......And we all love him.....
I never imagined him to be so warm to fans...He always seemed to be above it all. To me , Dylan was always together with Kubrick in that sense. Geniuses in their own fields, almost god-like figures. Apparently Kubrick was a very warm person...probably when it suited him.
He is reportedly very pleasant and loyal to the people he regarded as friends/family, but tend to be hostile to journalists (due to their propensity to lie) and standoffish to fans/regular folks (due to lennon's murder and harrison's stabbing incident). He's a fickle man though, so sometimes he lets his guard down.
Bob Dylan uses both his right and left side of his brain to produce as Joesph Campbell put it in the 1988 'Power of Myth' program with Bill Moyers, "to produce humanity". Bob Dylan also uses his right hand to sketch his interviewer in the previous parts and in this part 4 he ambidextrously signed an autograph left handed. I wonder if he was then in the Billy Parker character he was playing in that movie Hearts of Fire (1987)
Bob is not the dick that everyone makes him out to be, the reason he's not that personable is due to people who stalk him 24/7 and say they want to fuck him or marry him. I've listened to music from each decade and every time I hear it, it reminds me that he is a cool gentleman. I want to give a portrait I made of him it looks really good, I thought he would appreciate it as he is an artist.
