Bob Dylan:
Does not attend the Nobel Prize ceremony but agrees to appears in Pawn Stars
The biggest ignima in American Music
😂😂
@@bobjob66 " ignima " huh? And what language is that?
The Nobel Prize is junk. If Dylan and Obama can win, then it’s worthless.
@@CB-xr1eg you are worthless
I don't know if you are the real Bob Dylan, let me call an expert.

I wont even try to comment a joke, you won....
Taco Stacks lol
The expert is like “ the texture of his face seems right, his height is good I think you may have an authentic bob Dylan here”
I just need to compare a strand of the hair to a sample I carry on me.
Nobody:
Bob Dylan: uses sunglasses to see
OLD TIMEZ THANK YOU!!!! Lol I was thinking I was the only one that noticed
OLD TIMEZ you know you can put your prescription in sunglasses right? Obviously thats what he did
Nick Guerra you know it's a joke right?
OLD TIMEZ stfu
I wear prescription sunglasses. Yes, many people do that.
Dylan is known to be a quiet and reserved individual who rarely does interviews. It was very cool of him to do this.
Yèh....old age does strange things to some people .....it'snot for lack of attention he did this....
I feel like he must watch the show a lot for him to agree to this lol
It’s obviously scripted, lol! Nevertheless, its still a great moment.
I don't Care if it is - I love that show and I learn a lot of fun trivia
And for such a noble cause too
"Maybe another Chumlee would" 😂😂😂 best line ever
Ha ha ha
Patrick Starfish vibe you got there
Another great line... "I'm trying to sell this old Bob Dylan album. I don't have any use for it"
I predict an epidemic of Chumlees coming down the pike.
🤣🤣
Once Chum said “Make it out to Chumlee” I knew Rick would lose it 😂

$75 if it didn’t have the signature. More if it did.
I have to imagine Bob Dylan just really liked watching Pawn Stars on his tour bus and wanted to be on the show
yeah, basically.
he was also on Dharma & Greg lol
He got word to the show that he liked it. Producers took a shot and sent word back that he could be on it.
Maybe Rick gave Bob something special that came in & he did Rick a favor ...
Doubt that.He asked how'd you find me?
Yup
Bob Dylan: how did you find me here?
Chumlee: what do you mean this is the place we agreed and I have the suitcase full of money
Dylan doesn't need the money, believe me.
There's never enough
Like Lil Wayne said "too much money ain't enough money".
Lol!!!!
Lol!!!!
Won't appear to receive his Nobel Prize, but will do a Pawn stars cameo. Gotta love him.
This has to be the most random and unexpected cameo in history.
Not really since this is a history show and Bob Dylan is somewhat if a historical figure
@@designergoose1938 so by that logic if any person from history appeared on the show it would be perfectly normal
I ran right into dylan walking around down by lake ERIE in cleveland, ohio on july 17,1991. I was walking and looked up and he was walking right towards me. I stood still and put out my hand and he came up to me to shake my hand. He was so cool to me. I have seen him 35 times since 1965. He was by himself.
At Edgewater Beach?
@aureliab2127 yes right around there. He was by himself walking to his bus. Very nice to me.
Just saw Dylan in concert with my teenage sons in Tucson on March 4, 2022. He’s traveling in that same nice bus, and I’m very happy to report that, at age 80, he is still bringing the heat. His voice was great and strong (I know people who saw him a few years ago who said his voice, sadly, was very weak, which some reviews had said too; fortunately, he’s recovered and his voice was remarkably strong this tour). The supporting band was on point, and the acoustics were top notch (playing in a 2400-seat concert hall certainly helps, compared to a cavernous stadium or sports arena). Bucket List item checked off. Thank you Bob Dylan for 60 years of greatness!
LOL....Dylan couldn't sing in 1965.....Great writer, horrible singing voice.
@@diceguyg3799 You do realize that the voice is part of the charm right? its called being a folk singer who uses the voice to tell stories, nobody wants to hear Whitney Houston singing like a Rolling Stone. If we used your logic than Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Robert Plant and Mick Jagger have horrible singing voices also. I swear some people are braindead.
@@diceguyg3799 He's won four Grammys for his vocals and has been nominated for another eight.
I agree with you! I drove 10 hours to see him in Louisville in a charming small theater and his voice was wonderful! Band was crushing it. I luxuriated in every moment.
@@meninagreen5704 His live backing band is truly really great.
Just happened to run right into Bob Dylan. I do it all the time. I open the cupboard and BOOM there's Bob Dylan.

This is sooo crazy you mention this! But, i was just organizing my Lazy Susan last night and when i turned it counterclockwise, there Bob Dylan👴 was setting indian style eating my Ortega Taco Shells🌮 that i originally had planned for Taco Night🌮 Next Tuesday!! Really Bizarre! 🙋
Just smells like cigarettes all night because he sleeps under my bed. He drinks milk from my fridge every morning.
The times are a-changing
@Midnight Toker and it's a hard, and it's a hard, and it's a hard pooooop's gonna fall.
Who cares if it''s scripted? Its a funny skit. I liked when Chum said that "maybe another Chum Lee would buy it". I am sure he genuinely got to keep it since it had his name, not to bad for Chum too.
David Valdez id buy it still
Maybe there is an oriental man out there named Chum Lee? Who knows.
Eyehate Phukingoogel well my last name is chumley so close enough lmao
David Valdez your sense of humor is extremely low then
Most artists will customise an autograph so people can’t make a quick buck on eBay.
3:00 I like how he puts his shades on to see the record clearly and says “I see that” 😂
You can get prescription shades.
Dylan is the kindest and most gentle soul person.
He does seem very gentle. I love that on top of everything else!

A man of culture
Well done!
Nothing like seeing a towering, mythical figure of American culture meeting Bob Dylan
The old man reaction to chumlee is brilliant
Bob has a great sense of humor.

Bob Dylan does 40 or 50 laps around every venue he does, about 5 hours before he performs there.
@Hannah Lewis no it was luck he ran into him by chance his people were made and wanted the footage pulled it was a big deal not as easy as you think there’s a article about it online
@Alan 59 he forgot where the door is .
Yup saw him in my city once
To get to know the area and people running things ..
Bob dylan has such a closed personality i have no idea how they got him to agree to appearing on the show (because it is obviously scripted), it must have been a large sum of money or cigarettes i guess.
Derpyderp probably cigarettes, a lot of cigarettes
Dylan is weird though in that way, sometimes he'll do strange appearances.
He probably just enjoyed the show, he has respect for people and has appeared on tv before out of respect of the person who has the show.
Dylan has interesting tastes and he makes these surprising appearances throughout his career. He was in an episode of Dharma and Greg in the 90s. And this is exactly the kind of show he probably enjoys watching on the road to pass the time.I
My guess is his people contacted the show and set up this appearance. There's no way Rick would waste his time buying a $50 record on camera, that was filmed afterwards I bet.

Probably Mr. Brown and bob Dylan got along famously
What do that mean?
Yes they did

Dylan's face dropped just for a second when Chumlee said that/. Chumlee doesnt lie obviously but for Bob he thought he was signing it for someone who liked his work not a profiteer.
The fact that Chumlee got it signed by Dyaln would actually make it worth a lot more... especially since it's now been on TV

Knowing how privative and reclusive Bob Dylan is, it's amazing that they got him on the show to do that

As someone who sells vinyl records for a living, I wouldn't sell this record for more than $30 in near-mint condition. There is an earlier pressing of that album that goes for more but even $50 is too much to spend on that album.
yeah, i bought a first press (i think) for 18 euros this wednesday XD

Obviously staged, but it is incredible that they got Dylan to agree to do this. Even with the dedication, the fact that they have the video to prove provenance - this is still a very valuable item. My guess would be anywhere from $300 - $500. Seriously.

They paid only 50 bucks and their freakin out, really stupid.
They don't really seem to be freaking out imo, they're just looking at chumlee as idiotic lol
Crooked cat chum is smart tho,he wanted it so he got him to make it out to chum and he knew they wouldn't be able to sell it, plus if Rick has such little faith in chum why would he send him lol
April Mae well even if it’s not staged they paid $50 for the album but with just Bob Dylan’s signature if he didn’t include “To Chumlee” it would’ve been worth a lot of money

@@ryanensor7844 It had to be something worthless for this staged nonsense. Nothing to be confused about.
Honestly, good thing Dylan signed “to chum Lee” because it’s messed up for artists to waste their times to sign stuff that the people are just gonna turn around and sell. That’s why Ringo Starr doesn’t accept fan mail anymore
Except that he doesn't accept....
No kidding.
I run a record store. This is an $8 album.
Still more expensive than a kenny loggins signed album 🤣🤣
That's a first press, it must cost something
@@giovannigobbi4832 first pressings generally aren't worth much more unless it's a revolutionary record that was pressed in limited quantities. First pressings of his debut album can be worth up to $600 because there aren't many of them, but there are tens of thousands (if not hundreds of thousands) of first pressings of Self Portrait. In fact, if they reissued that album today on 180g vinyl, the reissue would be worth more because the sound quality would more than likely be better.
