    Keith is going to look back on this in 75 years and smile

    • @emxilyk
      @emxilyk 3 місяці тому

      He'll still be there, smiling at the thought of this glorious moment at the end of the universe, long after the death of the sun and the demise of the coackroaches. And should he ever reach the end of his life span, then he'll do so in union with the universe. And he will already be there smiling even before the Big Bang (Mainstream media will deny it, but non-Sheeple know that the Big Bang was actually just a byproduct of Keith ripping a fart, where an odour appeared that was so enriched by the blend of every substance known to man that it immediately kicked life into motion),
      after "the End" once again turned into "a beginning" and the eternal cycle sets into motion again.
      Be it five millenia ago, two decades ago, yesterday, today, 3AM tomorrow morning, in 75 years or even seven quadrillion years from now - it's all the same, we are born, live for a bit and then disappear, only to then be born, live and disappear again, and during every single moment of it, Keith Richards, his questionable takes and most importantly his smile will be present, over and over again. ♾️
      Typing this out made me recall the fact that "Keith Richards actually is JFK (JR?) and he'll soon deliver us from the Wokes, the Elites and the Pro-Vaxxers after revealing himself during a Stones concert" was an actual conspiracy theory a few years ago, one that led a substantial number of QAnon nuts to drive from all over the US to the city where said deliverance was promised, showing severe
      disappointment once said concert was over despite neither JFK nor JFK JR having been resurrected during it. What a time to be alive.

    You want to hear Keith speak adoringly of other musicians? Ask him about Chuck and Muddy and BB and Scotty. As for his own contemporaries, he’s always been open about what he likes and doesn’t. It’s just Keith being Keith. He means no harm. I just love the guy.

    Oh does he? Tell where in Keith's book "Life" did he say ANYTHING derogatory about Elton John. In fact he was very complimentary about Elton. So sick of BS on the net, it's really starting to become out of control, although many would say it started long ago.

    • @armybrat75

      Actually, June 20, 1975, Elton John really pissed off the Stones, and in particular, Keith, by outstaying his welcome by a whopping 10 songs. He was only supposed to play for one song, Honky Tonk Woman. Elton was so coked out he didn't take the cue to get off the stage. At the time, Billy Preston was playing keyboards for the Stones. Jagger introduced him as "Reginald Dwight from Watford," hoping he'd get the message. They were not happy. It was my first concert. Fort Collins, Colorado.

      I imagine Keith is well used to shitty journalists twisting his words to get a story published. The whole Beatles/Stones feud was a publicity stunt to sell records and newspapers. The same with the Oasis/Blur situation. Media and the music industry can be toxic places, and with the advent of the internet and social media, it has become completely untethered to reality.

      If ever Elton John needs to come down to Earth and stop pretending to be a rock legend, the thing he needs most of all, is Keith's opinions of his fake persona... Available as a matter of fact, all over the net.
      Keith never took to such false characters, as Elton John, and his blonde admiration for Royalty.
      Grow up, and face the truth that Keith provided to the whole world, about fakes like Elton John.

    Personally I love the Stones, especially the era from Satisfaction till Sticky Fingers. Keith's book is a damn good read. He owes his guitar style ( tuning and no low E string) to his music and drugging buddy, GRAM PARSONS. That he is one of the most opinionated musicians of the old school is obvious. Making controversial statements are very useful for keeping him and his Stone buddies on the global media's radar. Some of his beefs have some validity and some are hackney BOLLOCKS. He hardly rates as a great guitarist these days, but his contribution as a co-writer with Jagger has produced a plethora of classic rock songs. Some of his observations are downright embarrassing. Example, at the age of 18, Prince recorded his first album entirely alone. What could Keith have done ? I wonder if he was even capable of trying his own shoelaces and playing more than 10 chords. I think that it's time to stop the deification of artists who were a product of another age, and the idolisation of the sex and drugs and rock'n'roll lifestyle and admit that Keith wouldn't be taking cheap shots at other worthwhile artists, 'cause he would've been 6 feet in the ground. But being a very rich rock star, he was able to pull himself from the brink and survive, unlike many of his contemporaries who kicked the bucket early on.
