- Have you ever wanted to see a jab that is incredibly slow, punishable on hit at 999% and never works outside of extremely rare scenarios? Well King Dedede's jab in Brawl is just the move for you.
This was even more difficult to make than the Mario down tilt video. I was not expecting this video to end up as long as it is but that's just what happened. I am overall quite happy with how this video turned out but there are probably still some adjustments I can make for future instalments in this series. I will definitely look at something more simple next time. - Ігри
I remember loving this move as a kid. Not because it was good, but because I loved the sound that the rapid jab made when it hit. "DUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUN"

It’s a fun game series btw
I did think about putting background music into this video but I ultimately decided against it as music made it harder to hear my voice (without making the music too quiet), it would have made the editing processing more time consuming and there’s always a chance that Nintendo would have targeted and potentially copyright claimed/striked this video for the music.
I do also apologise about the mic quality. My mic isn’t particularly good and I haven’t really looked into ways to make it better yet but it is definitely something I want to look into improving. This video in general is fairly old and my style has evolved a lot since then. I'd recommend checking out my newer videos in this series if you enjoyed this video because they are better.
I always love these vids of people going into detail of bad/good moves in fighting games please do more
Thanks. My PC is not in the best spot at the moment so I'm not sure how long it was be until I'll make another one of these but I definitely will make more.

@@bigbangbot-SuperSqank Meta Knight's jab is awful and Cpt. Falcon Side B is also really terrible. Go for a special move since they are more specific and situational and the video will be easier and shorter for you.

This move also seems like it would be outclassed by ftilt
In most cases, pretty much. Ftilt is the same speed but it has even more range and it is a bit more effective on hit (although it's still relatively weak). Jab still has the locking advantage however.

I guess I can't argue with the King himself.
You have some weird audio distortion/ clipping for your voice in a lot of parts. You should adjust your mic gain or apply normalization for your voice track.
I know. It's definitely something I would like to look into fixing it the future. I did try my best to fix some of the audio inconsistencies in editing but I would definitely like to find a better alternative/solution.
@@bigbangbot-SuperSqank It makes the video a bit grating to watch but usually if the script/content is entertaining enough people will watch it (see all the bootleg anime/cartoon episode videos)
I honestly could only get through half of it (stopped at jab-locking). I think your script is fine enough and the content fills a good niche. Idk about how to help about recording issues cause setups can be complicated.
I guess the cheapest thing you could do to isolate variables when recording is the old tried and true blanket in a small closest hack. Assuming you don't already have a dedicated recording room.
Thanks. I’ll be sure to try out the blanket trick. My microphone isn’t very good and I really should look into getting something better. I’m quite new to making content on this scale so I definitely have not ironed everything out yet.
These videos are fun and are great to showcase the death by one thousand cuts that made brawl a poor competitive game
Thanks. Although if I am being honest, the goal of these videos isn’t to show “why Brawl is a poor competitive game”, not at all. It’s mainly just to light heartedly poke fun at the stupid and unfortunate balancing decisions. Brawl is the main game for this series as it is the game I am the most knowledgeable of and care the most about.
