- R.O.B was a mid tier in Brawl with some good things and some not good things. But out of R.O.B.'s entire moveset, the one move he had which stood in a very negative way was his side special, Arm Rotor. Arm Rotor may be one of R.O.B.'s most feared moves in Ultimate but it had a very, very rough start in Brawl.

Wow. This move is WAY worse than I initially thought. Makes me curious though of what other side specials could be considered a contender for worst in the game. The only ones I could think of are Egg Roll or Chain Whip, mayyybe Raptor Boost?? I dunno but I am glad to see a special move be talked about in detail in this series since I think the closest before this was Nayru's Rejection (or the brief allusion to Rollout). I am legit curious on what are the worst respective special moves in Brawl honestly, I'm most curious about worst up special
When it comes to side specials, the other contenders are Egg Roll and Angel Ring (although I’d probably solidly put Angel Ring above this). Worse up special is Sing. I feel that’s pretty definitive.
@@bigbangbot-SuperSqank Makes sense for Sing to be worst up B, I don't remember if it can ledge cancel in Brawl but either way its a completely useless move for the most part (a fair amount of her moveset has a similar problem) and is extremely unsafe in general

Kirby Side-B (Melee)
Jigglypuff Up-B (encompasses any game), or Rest (Brawl/Smash 4)
Falco Blaster (Smash 4, but at the same time Falco would be good for a video that shows how drastically nerfed he was compared to Brawl and Melee, with even a vanilla Smash 4 vid being possible. His Smash 4 history is pretty interesting)

Best way to look at Melee/Smash 64 moves is through TM mod/19XXCE. They have advanced training modes.
Funnily enough, I did start working on a video for pre patch Smash 4 Falco. I ultimately put the project on the backburner as there is a lot to talk about. I do want to do it at some point but we’ll see.
@@bigbangbot-SuperSqank Yeah Falco would be a lengthy video because nearly everything that made him great in Brawl and especially Melee was overtuned down for Smash 4.
It would be more about the changes that were made in S4’s patches. Up smash alone took up around a page and a half and Falco’s aerials would take up a good amount of the script too. They changed a lot throughout the patches.
@@theobserver4214Bowser’s Neutral-B in Smash Ultimate is pretty good actually, arguably essential even (just like ROB’s Arm Rotor)
It deals a lot of damage now, which makes landing to finally worth it
And even Smash 4 wasn’t too awful, unlike Melee and Brawl
Can you do the "Mighty Falcon Punch" custom move from Smash 4 3ds? Idk if it's the same in the wii u version
Hmm… I don’t really feel that would be too interesting as a video. It’s just a bigger, slower Falcon which was a common trend among customs in Smash 4. It has a bit of a vertical shockwave but there isn’t much interesting going on otherwise.

me and my cousins had a fucked up meta for this game when we were younger lol. whoever had the best spammable move was the best, we werent too far off from how things actually are though lol. but yeah rob with this side b and metaknight with neutral b and jab specifically were op as shit to us. and toon link with the bombs, snake with all his shit, etc lol
I actually cannot understand what they were thinking in melee and brawl. Like they had to know these moves were completely useless when making them right? Like sure in ultimate there are bad moves but there are hardly any useless moves that do nothing.

Do you even actually own a Nintendo Switch and a copy of _Super Smash Bros. Ultimate_ so you can more effectively compare your self-recorded _Brawl_ footage to _Ultimate?_
I do but back when I made this video, I didn’t really feel like setting up a capture solution just for a couple of clips. In my latest Smash video, I did actually record some of my own Ultimate footage and moving forward, I will be recording my own footage for Ultimate whenever needed.
