- This is one of the most ambitious videos I have ever made. I have never made a video like this before so it is rough around the edges. If I make more of these in the future (which I am interested in doing), I hope to not only clean up the imperfections but to also try and come up with a more unique and clean style. I was inspired primarily by Bafael’s “Bad Balance” series and it does show in this video. Later videos will hopefully be shorter than this one too.
I've wanted to make videos where I dissect things in old Smash games for a long time and I have finally done it. Mario's down tilt is a pretty bad move and in this video, I go into detail as to why it's so bad. This was not the easiest video to make and I know there are flaws here and there but I hope it's still a enjoyable and interesting video. I do feel satisfied with the fact that I actually made this video and I think it turned out ok.

This was the first video I made in this series so the overall quality (particularly the video/audio and overall editing) is lower than later videos as this was my first attempt making content like this. If you are coming here for the first time after watching my later videos, I hope you find it fascinating seeing how far I've come since the beginning.
Maybe one day I'll remake this video, updating my info and generally cleaning up the editing and quality.
How do you do that Dedede chain grab without accidentally buffering shield like I often used to do?
Gotta make sure you let go of grab before the buffer window ends

really cool video series, i have watched all 3 so far! since you say you are fine with suggestions, id love for you to look at smash 4 dedede's gordo throw. that move is dreadful and has literally been nerfed in a patch to become even more dreadful, its hilarious. looking forward to more of these!

this is one of the reasons I hate brawl because my main is absolute ass. (the speed and random tripping are also annoying af)
I recently replayed Brawl so I do have a few moves I would like to suggest:
Donkey Kong's Dash Attack
Samus' Forward Aerial
Ness' PK Flash
Bowser's Up Air
Ganondorf's Up Tilt
Mr. Game & Watch's Judge
Meta Knight's Jab
Squirtle's Water Gun
All of these are with specifically the Brawl renditions in mind but I am open to seeing them in different games if some are worse in 64 or Melee compared to Brawl
Make sure to just mute the audio for Smash 4 in editing next time lol, much better to have no audio than ear-destroying audio
Great video otherwise though I feel like spending 13 minutes on a singular move is a bit too long
Thanks I have a much better way to record Smash 4 now so that will not be an issue in the future. The video is mainly so long because I wanted to introduce the series and the Smash 4 stuff was admittedly longer than it needed to be.
Future singular move videos should definitely be shorter, especially since not every move is a contender for worst move in the game. The D3 one was longer mainly because that technically covers three moves.
