Ohh, yeah! Ok, I had to edit once I got to the deep fried bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers with cream cheese. Plus the coffee for dinner! Oh yeah! Keep all of it coming. You tube has screwed with almost all of the channels I watch.
I think it's a great idea to do "skill-shorts".
Along with the food parts of your vids, I love it when you show how to tie knots, start fires, and any kind of fundamental skills.
In all my camping trips I never thought about deep frying Jalapeño poppers. Again, I learn something new or a new idea every video.
Boy, that #36 bank line sure is the hero of this outing! Thank you for showing the versatility of this site and how just a couple of design changes can create a whole new shelter using the same available materials. Also, very nice shot of your tricep tattoo, really well done.
Anyone who has trained under you would for sure know you don’t give anything away!! The person will have to earn it. Keep putting out the great content, wether it is skills, building, cooking, restoration, or anything that teaches !! It’s always informative and a lot of the times it provides a great project that can be expanded on or customized to that person!! All one has to do is pay attention and work the problem for a solution!!!
I'm just amazed at how your mind works when you come up with multiple ways to complete your projects.
More than one way to skin a cat!! We love watchin how your shelters change and grow. Better than other channels that are building their newest shelter the same way they did the last. With you it may be a different shelter with an old twist. It may be an old shelter with a new twist. Or it may be revisiting shelters to make them better.
Either way the chow is always good!

An idea for the wind screen. Doing a Dakota fire hole front and back of the wind screen. Burning on your side. Venting from the other. And could start enclosing without drawing as much oxygen from the side facing the fire. Keeping you warmer. Just a thought

Great shelter. Looked nice and protected from the wind and to allow heat in. The great thing about those antique cold handle steel pans...and cast iron is how non-stick they can be if prepared and used properly. So many times with mess kit aluminum or titanium pans everything sticks and is a pain to clean afterwards. Great video as always!

I love the longer builds. Not so much the shorts, but I understand why you have to do them and I try to watch them to give you a boost.

I did watch the skillet restoration I was impressed and something like that is worth holding on to for sure.
When I make poppers I make them just like you do but I put little smoky’s in them. Adds a little extra to them
first, outstanding AF as usual. Question on the wind shields, I've always wonder why you always make them around that height. Why not a little taller? would the wind over the top take the heat over the shelter vs in it?

Nice work on that shelter! Idea: How about a 3 wall campfire shelter with a really tall roof to keep the rain out and let smoke escape. Also a self feeding log rack to mare it run all night. Then with both front doors open on the tent, a super shelter clear cover to produce a mini super heated shelter?
