      I know I watch every time, and I go looking to see if there's one up if I don't get a notice when expected.
      Maybe they're shadow banning you on that type of videos. I honestly don't think it's YOU, I think they're just micromanaging what people see. The last thing they want is people to know how to survive WITHOUT Big Brother's involvement.

    Skills are cool. My favorite series is the Ultimate Deer Stand, I also like the cabin build. I think this is a case of the vocal minority influencing what everyone else is supposed to like. Make whatever you want to make

      Knew a guy in the Marines we called master bushman , bushmaster was married to 3 different strippers in the Camp Lejeune area in 4 years and no children lol. A forth one almost got him in Sneads Ferry but paternity test cleared him.

    Anyone who has trained under you would for sure know you don’t give anything away!! The person will have to earn it. Keep putting out the great content, wether it is skills, building, cooking, restoration, or anything that teaches !! It’s always informative and a lot of the times it provides a great project that can be expanded on or customized to that person!! All one has to do is pay attention and work the problem for a solution!!!

    Cooking on the trail with my 10 year old son. He has discovered what corporal has known all along. Bacon does fix everything. The smell of bacon outdoors is the smell of hope.

    first, outstanding AF as usual. Question on the wind shields, I've always wonder why you always make them around that height. Why not a little taller? would the wind over the top take the heat over the shelter vs in it?

    More than one way to skin a cat!! We love watchin how your shelters change and grow. Better than other channels that are building their newest shelter the same way they did the last. With you it may be a different shelter with an old twist. It may be an old shelter with a new twist. Or it may be revisiting shelters to make them better.
    Either way the chow is always good!

    Great shelter. Looked nice and protected from the wind and to allow heat in. The great thing about those antique cold handle steel pans...and cast iron is how non-stick they can be if prepared and used properly. So many times with mess kit aluminum or titanium pans everything sticks and is a pain to clean afterwards. Great video as always!

      The shavings are very fine fatwood, scraping a ferro rod into it to ignite

    An idea for the wind screen. Doing a Dakota fire hole front and back of the wind screen. Burning on your side. Venting from the other. And could start enclosing without drawing as much oxygen from the side facing the fire. Keeping you warmer. Just a thought

    Dude please go back to skills videos... where you actually TAUGHT how to make these things, i remember you used to talk the viewer through it... make this knot, and this lash and tighten here etc... now the videos are "look what i can make, and bacon" still a supporter man, love watching your old videos

    Shawn, I enjoy your channel and watch most of the videos, but I got to say this.....UA-cam's shorts are a waste of my time. Not yours specifically, but in general. You don't know who posted them and they are so short to be worthless. I don't know who at UA-cam thought they are a good idea, but they are a waste.
