      Hi Shawn!
Granted no shelter building but over in my work area, the Annual Soap Box Derby Race is about to happen.
Not sure if you ever put one together as a child, but some of the builds are cool.
I'll have vids up on my channel if you want to stop by.

Great shelter! I think logs that thick would take quite a while to saw by hand. I would love to see a bushcraft latrine build in an upcoming video. When I was a kid my grandfather would take me hunting with him. In the woods on his hunting land he had dug a pit and set up a makeshift crapper, basically four Y shaped posts with stripped logs across them. One log was a couple feet off the ground and the other in back was about afoot higher. Basically you'd sit on the lower log and hang your butt over the edge using the other log as a back rest. He'd also keep a roll of T.P. under an upside down coffee can on a post within reach and a tin bucket of cold campfire ashes and a scoop for covering your deposits.

I've been watching folks on the interwebs build all sorts of shelters, and I'll say this... Being OCD has it's upsides! These shelters are always so perfect, well thought out, and this one would probably last all winter... A back wall, and a old barrel for heat, I'm sure someone could lay low for a while. {A raised bed would be a must!} Another great video for the books!
