After using it for 14 months, clearly a7iv turns out to be my best investment! Such a massive upgrade over the a7iii which I used for 5 years. Now I want a second body that can do 4K 50p without crop!!
I was so happy back in the day with the a6000 and a couple sigma primes…Went from a6000 to a7iii and fell in love all over again. Now it’s happening again…owning the a7iii 5 years to getting the a7iv today.
I love my A7IV, been shooting photos since buying it around 18 months ago (purely as amateur). Only very recently started playing with the video modes and loving the S&Q mode!
Did the same and yes it’s worth it. The screen is such a game changer. Full hdmi, usb streaming, no record limit, app stability and monitoring. Only thing I miss is CFexpress B cards.
I've been contemplating getting the s5iiX for a few weeks now, but every time i edit the 10bit s-log3 files in my a7iv, I just can't pull the trigger. This is the best camera ever for shooting on the sticks. Top Notch Content Upload!
Hello! Thank you very much for the video. I just bought my a7iv and I can't set it at 1/50 for my videos, neither in NTSC nor PAL 😢. Jump from 1/45 to 1/60 and here on the latam, 1/50 is needed to avoid the flicker of the LED lights.
Thanks for the video. I have the a9 and I needed a backup camera. I just picked up the a7 iv two days ago. I experienced the over heating on it the first day. Only thing I did was updating the firmware. I am not much into video part with this camera, so it will be for photos. I heard about putting external battery may help. I put battery grips on all my cameras, I got one battery grip yesterday. I will try it this weekend.
Great review 👍🏻 just moved from a6400 to a7iv with sigma 24-70mm great combo, im looking for a variable nd filter I'm a bit lost to pick one can you recommend me one to get appreciate it, god bless and good luck ✌️
I personally use a cheaper K&F one it’s not the best but it does the job. You can check out all the gear I recommend and use here: kit.co/stefanolombardo
Thanks for this video. I just bought a Sony A7 IV. While I contemplated the AI focus in the A7C I thought this looked like a solid purchase still as someone who wanted to get into photography and video more but didn't need every bell and whistle. And if the trend fits it looks like I will still be using it long after they move to a new model as I see people still post how they love their A7 II and A7 III
I’ve had the a7iv for 2 years. Recently bought the a7cii. For my used, I think the a7cii is a better camera. Smaller, lighter and great as a travel camera along with the 20mm 1.8 and the 24-105. I’m keeping the a7iv. It’s still a great camera.
I am liking using my Sony A7 IV with the Sony HVL-F60RM2 Wireless Radio Flash to take pictures of people/groups at events. Is there interest in making a video about this flash unit, including optical and wireless sync modes with other flash units?
Lumix S5ii is a solid pickup and probably the best full frame you can buy for the money right now…. However I didn’t mention it because I personally have never used it… on specs it looks great, but not sure how autofocus holds up, etc
Hey guys , I am a bit confused because I am stuck on whether to choose the Sony a7iv or the rv. I am a hybrid shooter , I do prefer to shoot in 60fps but also this content is more or less for social media and hopefully UA-cam . but also a note I am coming from canon m50 line so I do need to buy lenses so any insight into this would be helpful.
If your starting out and don't wanna spend to much the A7iii is amazing and you can get lens with it for a great price if you have the money and want to be full future proof go for A7iv
Brother I’m not a professional photographer or a videographer. Because till now I was just using my iPhone 15 pro max for both the things. Now I decided to take a next step into a camera. Can you please suggest me which camera should I buy and with I can start my journey of photography and filmmaking ? Recommend brand is Sony but I’m literally very confused which one to go with ?
i was very disapointed by eye detection in street photo for runner, jogger, people walking to me,... whatever the focus area chosen. I switched to a7rv, no comparison but still some missed eyes or faces. My iphone 15pro max doesn't miss face, even a child in a big shop...
Lol you are funny. You miss focus because you don't know how to use it. Newer cameras are beyond what you can achieve, they are excellent. Also, your iPhone 15 Pro Max won't miss focus with her tiny sensor with deeper depth of field
Sony a7c i want the newer version for the auto focus megapixel and video settings the cr is to pricey I mainly do photo but think im going with the c2 and get the cr once the price drops really low like 5 years lol
On specs the S5ii looks amazing and definitely the best hybrid camera right now and cheaper than the others… but I can’t recommend it because I’ve never actually used it personally :/ that’s why I said best hybrid camera Sony has ever made
Yeah, it doesn’t get the same recognition the a7iii got because it wasn’t the revolutionary camera the a7iii was upon release but it really is the best full frame hybrid camera at this price range. The a7cii is a hardware downgrade regardless of the form factor, canon isn’t open to third party lens manufacturers and the Lumix is stacked for video only.
@@shinsukekishima micro hdmi lower megapixels etc There aren't many but yeah. R6ii definitely more video centric while a7iv is perfectly balanced hybrid
Dude, it’s a camera. Want to shoot video, get a video camera. There are better ones for cheaper. Want a camera for pictures, buy this for the money. It shoots great photos. People that use these cameras for selfies are idiots.
"Best Hybrid Camera SONY has Ever Made" it's in the second sentence of the video... Lumix S5ii is solid tho and definitely the best full frame hybrid camera available right now for the price. Just can't recommend it because I've never used it personally!
What camera are you currently rocking?
I think you already know :)
A7IV with Sigma lenses!
Canon EOS R5, but considering Sony since there are a lot of lens options with Sony
Nikon D7100
A7IV with Sony 16-35mm F2.8 GM
After using it for 14 months, clearly a7iv turns out to be my best investment! Such a massive upgrade over the a7iii which I used for 5 years. Now I want a second body that can do 4K 50p without crop!!
I know right! A7IV was the only camera that I've ever felt had almost everything you need in a camera!
There are rumours that the A7V is coming out later this year..
I was so happy back in the day with the a6000 and a couple sigma primes…Went from a6000 to a7iii and fell in love all over again. Now it’s happening again…owning the a7iii 5 years to getting the a7iv today.

I have the a6000 bought it in 2020, Monday my a7 iv arrives ❤❤❤
Agreed. I picked up mine a couple months ago after years of using the A7iii. Definitely worth it!
I absolutely love it and would pick it up again in a heartbeat!
I'm still rocking the a7iv!
Solid camera!!
Currently rocking the Canon R5, but looking at the Sony A7R V due to the 4-axis screen and smaller and lighter lenses.
Did the same and yes it’s worth it. The screen is such a game changer. Full hdmi, usb streaming, no record limit, app stability and monitoring. Only thing I miss is CFexpress B cards.
love my a7iv, only thing i would change is the lcd and evf resolution. 4k60 no crop would be nice too
Agree the 4k60 crop would be great if it didn't crop but I find I'm usually carrying multiple lenses on me so if I need wider ill just switch
Literally just got the A7IV 2 weeks ago and I'm impressed after shooting with Canon 6 years ago!

Set your Temp setting to High, mine has never overheated and I do a ton of video on it.
@@toughlow6941 Thanks, I did.
Actually settings in Modes 1, 2, and 3 are, by default, shared between photo and video. But you can toggle to make them different in photo and video.
I currently have the A7III; would it not be wise to get the A6700 since its autofocus is much faster?

Is this better to get rather than Canon R6 II or Nikon Z6 III as a hybrid camera?

I bought it Today... From India.. 🇮🇳

Shooting the X-T5 and loving it, but will invest in the Sony eco system as a second body once the new version of the a7iv comes out.
I rarely shoot photos with the A7IV, but the video quality is as good as any of the latest Sony cameras in my opinion. Its still a beast!
What camera would you recommend for vlogging ? Would this be good for it ? Or do you recommend something else ?

Love my a7 iii The biggest thing for me is this,
is the focusing better with the 7m3 or 7m4?
A7iv of course
A7IV and RX100vii but looking seriously at the A7CR. I'm a hobbyist shooter, so don't really need some of the pro features of the A7iv.
A7CR is a solid choice!
Sir which variant is best for sony a7 iv china/ thilad? Is it made in japan?
You doing great job all your videos and pics they are amazing😍👍👏🔥🔥🔥
Thank you so much!
The a7c ii has 7 stops of IBIS he a7iv has 5.5...you forgot to mention that
a6700 for someone casual like me? LOL just need it for zoom calls, YT videos, vlogs, and some photos. What do you think?
Love the A7IV definitely one of the best cameras you can buy for the price!
for the price is Lumix S5ii:))
I think so too!

A7iv is a hybrid camera for portraits and videos while the R series is for Nature and landscape
Is it worth buying A7cii Over A7iv
Did you notice the small viewfinder on he A7C11 small viewfinder?
If I’m new to the scene, should I go a7iii or a7iv?
If your starting out and don't wanna spend to much the A7iii is amazing and you can get lens with it for a great price if you have the money and want to be full future proof go for A7iv

A7IV? It would be a great Sony to add to the arsenal

Start with Sony a7sIII imo
A7IV or A7CR ?! Or skip both of those and go A7RV ?
What camera are you using for this video?
I got the a7rii I love the details of the images that I got from this camera the problem is the battery… should I wait for the a7v or buy the a7iv?
I have the same problem.
what's the difference between A74 and A7iv
What problems are there with the battery? Life?

DId you compare with Fuji XH2S as well?
if you’re in the market for an SUV, would you be looking at Honda civics?
A lovely Canon Rebel T7 😁
A solid camera especially if your a beginner or hobbyist!

No record limit, but heats up very quickly tho.
Yea I found it depends on the climate. Never dealt with any overheating personally but I know it is a problem a lot of people face!
mine heating up even at the menus… switched to r6ii
i love it, it's a low light beast, but la-ea5 is an atrocity of an adapter
Bro i need this camera so badly
Duuude, I came from the EOS R too XD
I knew I naught the perfect camera.
For me
Should I get A7 IV or wait for A7 V?
If you need a camera right now buy what you can get right now, if you don’t “need” a new camera right now then maybe wait! It’s simple
great video but canon r5c best in the game right now
A7R V or A7IV .??? (Forget the price)
Great video. I came from Fuji. AF on Fuji is an absolute mess. Sonys old A74 absolutely destroys all current Fuji bodies. Good riddance Fuji
