For half my life I was doing pushups wrong...the 90° block type. Now I'm trying to learn pushups again with correct form and 45° elbow angle. It is like 10x harder than the block ones 😭 these incline pushups are also very effective of you engage your muscles correctly! Looking forward to doing my first regular perfect form pushup ✨

@@joshuamead3194 i think incline pushs up may help but doing every day may cause elbow, forearm or wrist issues. in my opinion, 4 days in a week is enough.
@@kazangap9548 yes of course bud, we all need rest days, rest is the the most important part of any training! If course we must do the actual work outs first, however when we rest is when we make the gains!
@Arnulfo Torres don't worry bro just stay consistent and have rest day. Before I started exercising on my chest like this, i just do some regular curls and now the result shows. It's take me around 2 month to see the result😅 and most important thing is your diet bro lower the calory intake if you can. It takes dedication and discipline. I just wish you the best brother 💪💪💪
@Arnulfo Torres you might build lower chest muscles but they won't show if you have a few layers of fat in front of them, doing crunches won't reduce fat in your lower chest but it will reduce fat all around your body so try watching some videos on how to lose fat by calorie deficit or something

Even in inclined surface, i am able to do 4-5 reps only.. Not more than that... Will be able to gain strength.. I just wanna look normal like everyone else, I'm very skinny guy... 😭😭

@@GalaxyCatPlays not at all I found that if you do too many at once you feel it in ur traps the lower I went the more it hurt but for me I have a shoulder issue I’m struggling with so it makes it a bit harder. It did help with my form a lot which was needed bc my firm caused a lot of shoulder pain too. Inclines are good for a brief workout if you’re not trying to over do it in my opinion I don’t do them as frequently bc you get used to them if you do the same incline levels but they help

@@kaymnorayn I usually feel it in my triceps and my shoulders/arm pits. How many do you do? I usually do 100-150 a day with “military” form and slowly in increments of ten
I started doing this because push ups are very hard for me, I had elbow problems, and if I try to do even 1 push up, my elbows starts making pop noise and it hurts. Doing incline push ups, I feel nothing hurting , just my muscles working out. I stared doing 25x4 a day 100 in total, a week passed now I'm doing 50x2 still 100 . Now I need to make more like 50x4 or I don't know. I still do other work out, for my legs, abs and other.
@@Abhaysingh-in3ut I have no idea. My elbows used to pop but I just kept going and my rep number increased and the pain kinda went away. My elbows don’t pop as often anymore and no pain at all😂 not sure if that’s a good tip for everyone but for me I just kept doing push-ups and it got better

Are we suppose to feel like pain or pressure at lower chest? Cos no matter how many times I do incline push up after watching lots of guide to do incline push up, my lower chest does not feel any pressure even tho I am a beginner
I think this pushup is just as effective as a normal pushup for me. I have been working out for a few months, when i converted from normal pushups to these, i felt the muscle sorness again. Idk maybe it's just me.

If you can do a full regular pushup (like 2 to 3), then you should still do incline pushups until you can do 8 regular pushups. I can do 14 incline pushups atm but can only do 2 to 3 regular pushups.

I'm trying to lose man boobs I'm In my 40s and my new gym has a tiny weight area so I try go in about 7.30 every morning and alot of the time iv to do cardio cuz people are all ready in the free weights area. So I using my stairs to lose my man boobs. And the days I have free weights to myself ill do chest exercises there. I'll need to find a new gym because 85 euro and no room to do chest workout is to costly.
I've started doing 100 of these everyday, past a week. Thank you for being a perfect guide on inclined pushup.

Its tightness.. usually after you warm up it goes away

I am unable to lower my entire body when doing an incline push up. My upper body comes down but my lower body remains as it is. Kindly give some tips

I’d focus on progressing to a lower surface or more reps. The overall goal is to do be able to do full push ups!
