Web of shadows man. That should've been at a spotlight (atleast for me lol). The combos were so goated and wall fighting was the most innovative thing ever
The scenes, when Aunt May died in Marvel Spiderman and asks Spidey to take off his mask, and when Lee and Miles enter Peter's mind to see how Peter feels guilty for the death of his aunt, really made me shed tears, both these games were Masterpieces!
If you didn't grow up with Spider-Man 2, Ultimate Spider-Man, or Spider-Man Web of Shadows, you will never know how it felt to finally play Spider-Man 2018 and really feel how much they improved on the swinging over the years. It was such a magical feeling that I will never, ever forget. Thank you, Insomniac.
@TheChocoboRacer Web of Shadows has some great swinging, but Insomniac's feels a lot smoother compared to it. Though I will say that the first game definitely lacked the speed that Web of Shadows had. But thankfully the 2nd game delivers on that as well. Give it a try when you can!
Totally. I’m the person who played the 20:22 version since it was the only one sm game i had at that time. I loved it as a kid and replayed multiple times throughout life cause i was nostalgic Finished playing MSM 2018 just a month ago. Honestly one of the best games i played as well as MSM-MM. I got goosebumps first and more times while swinging, the game connects the player with the character perfectly. Sneaky attacks. The city. And the balance between battles(i don’t like them, lol. If the quest could be done in sneaky mode - it has been)and puzzles/silly side quests is also great
The three spotlights plus the insomniac games were the ones that have always stood out to me. I’ve always loved spider man but the insomniac games literally make me so happy

God that brings back so much nostalgia, been 6 years since I had Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions... It was my 14th bday and I had a choice at GameStop between Deadpool and Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions, and oh wow do I not regret my choice. Timeless classic that was ahead of its time and it basically introduced the Spiderverse before the Sony films or before it even got popularized in main media. And its replay value is insane, I can take just a few months off and replay the levels, it is so amazing... The different suits like barefoot Bombastic Bagman, OG Spiderman Noir with the red/blue hues, Flipside, Spider-Armor, Electroproof, Mangaverse, etc. were just peak 👌. The villains are by far the best thing of the game, some of them are my favorites today like Hobgoblin 2099, an original concept for just this game and Ultimate Deadpool. We have classics like Sandman and Electro, but we also get a glimpse into the comics with Scorpion 2099 (Kron Stone) and Noir's grittier cannibalistic Vulture. Ok, maybe I'm glazing a little too hard but even the mechanics were crazy. Web strikes were annoying and repetitive, but I loved how the Web of Destiny or whatever it was called let you purchase new combat moves, so each time you had a unique combat experience. Noir's stealth takedowns are amazing, Ultimate's symbiote suit rage mode which transcended Web of Shadows and preceded Insomniac's Spider-Man 2. All the web-related attacks you could do with the OG Amazing Spiderman, such as a web spiked mace attack or taking away an enemy's guns, and 2099 with his cyclone helikick and Accelerated Mode to slow down enemies... And ofc the concept art. A whole gallery of amazing art for the game in various styles, as well as the levels and settings themselves. I was just beginning to get into the Spiderman 2099 comic runs and I got more intrigued after playing this game. Alchemax, how the Avengers looked in the future, flying cars and futuristic traffic system, just peak. Noir's setting was cool too, the Carnival where Vulture and Noir's Goblin originate in the Noir comic run, Hammerhead using a gatling gun in that fake Roman coliseum thing. As Ultimate we got to go to Deadpool's gameshow oil rig, an iconic and interactive location, as well as unique gameplay mechanics like surviving a tidal wave/tsunami basically, then we got to enter a symbiote war between S.H.I.E.L.D and Ultimate Carnage, symbiote v.s symbiote... I wish they revamp this game with new villains like OG Hobgoblin, Venom 2099 (Kron Stone), Vulture, etc.
Ultimate is my favorite outside the Insomniac games. And I wish it was one of the spotlights. But I get why it wasn't. It wasn't nearly as revolutionary as the other spotlights on there. Still, it was a huge step up for me from the Spider-man 2 movie game. With an original story, better art style which aged significantly better, and more refined gameplay, it was absolutely great.
I was 10 and I just bought the Spider-Man 2 on PC not knowing what I'm getting myself into. My dad installed it on his PC for me, since my PC wasn't up to the task, however, I couldn't play it, since my family was invited to a wedding that day. I couldn't wait to get home. The only Spider-Man game I played before was the one on PS1 from 2000 and this one was supposed to look better and be based on my favourite movie back then, so I made my parents leave the wedding early because I really wanted to at least try it before going to bed. Imagine my 10-year-old face, when I discovered, how the swinging and the combat works compared to the PS1 game.
Your video just popped up in my feed awesome content. Also whenever you mentioned a joke about Cat I was just smirking remembering my childhood about how I searched ways to end up with Black Cat in Web of Shadow rather than MJ. Did'nt play most of the games but definitely heard and kept up with most of them. From experiencing Shatered Dimension Spiderman Noir is just my fav spider-variant and I was fan boying his appearance when he appeared in Spider Verse , I still even remember the joke about the wind being in the basement and him beating up Natzis 😂. Hopefully he will get more cool scenes this upcoming movie since he met up with the squad again.
it's not really a contest, let alone a fair contest. it's literally the only show that was ever allowed to be anything remotely mature. well, okay, that and the MTV CGI series. all the others were forced to be outrageously kiddy, even by the standards other superhero shows were put under. Remember when Smythe's spikes and blades were turned into laser tentacles and scallopy ridges?
I still think that the Spider-Man Miles Morales game, was something like the GTA Vice City to GTA 3, it started just as extra content, and due to the Ps5 being released, it had to grow enough to become it's own game and it did.
Idk when you were born...but maximum carnage, the animated series Spiderman, and separation anxiety are gold. They were very challenging but that's what made them good games back in the day. Them joints are golden👌
@@JackoPanterinoYou should make it a short or something! That was the first spiderman game i played and i have so much insane nostalgia for it, its honestly really good!

11:02 So here’s a fun fact. When they were making the Spider-Man 4 game, They used a lot of assets from a game called Prototype, if you have a keen eye, you can see a lot of the reused assets, and they were both under the publisher Activision.

I really like Spider-Man VS the Kingpin for the genesis, actually. It's kinda hard to figure out at first, but once you do it's a lot of fun and it's a great game overall. And Mysterio's Menace is one of my favourites too. Still though, my absolute favourite will always be Ultimate Spider-Man. I don't really like how cinematic and Modern Sony esque (t's hard to explain) the new Insomniac games are, I always preferred the more videogame-y and comicbook charm of some of the earlier games. You could call that nostalgia bias, and you whould be totally wrong lol, I wasn't even born when Ultimate Spider-Man came out, and I played the Insomniac game first. Not to say I don't like the three Insomniac games, definetly not, I absolutely love them, it's just that I prefer other games for a reason or another. Great video by the way!
yoooo the Spider-Man 2 PC version was actually one of my fav super-hero games as a kid. Webbing car tyres to stop criminals, the bank robbery mission, the prison mission where you had to fight Rhino by making him run into the electric wall fence thingy, the annoying Jaguar or who bossfight, fighting mysterio in some sort of apocalypse level... I loved that game. ( I never had a console )
I opened this video thinking i would skip most of it but boy i was wrong. U made my meal 10 times more enjoyable and even after finishing it in like 15 mins. I didn't even realised it was ending until we arrived at the 2010's. Truly a masterpiece of a video.
Honestly I wish Insomniac would really put emphasis on “Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” and give us random encounters where we can help people with random and small problems.
Maximum Carnage with the RED CARTRIDGE was my all time favorite Spiderman game as a kid, that game ROCKED and is right up there with the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers game on the SNES.
Spider-man for the ps1 was my favorite game as a kid. I remember i didn’t have a memory card for my ps1 so when i would play id have to play the entire game and beat it in one sitting or id have to start all over after quitting. One day i beat the game and decided to keep playing. I found out that spider mans suit changes each time you beat the game. So of course i sat down and beat the game 5 times in a row in a single day without a memory card just to see all the different suits. That was probably one of my most exciting and fun times in gaming for me.
This was so amazing, I watched the whole thing, it had me completely intrigued the whole time. Thank you! I hope you guys have an amazing and spectacular day!
Honestly i think that The Amazing Spider-Man 1 is a fantastic game, but Insomniac... Insomniac... masterpieces, a more beautiful story than a film, the characters design is PERFECT, the story of each primary and secondary character is treated in a surprising way, never deviating from the original versions, but always giving surprises. Fantastic city, beautiful and fun animations.
Absolutely solid video my friend 🤙🏻 one thing I noticed, Ult. Spider-Man was never released on the Wii. It was for GameCube (my childhood way of playing) Regardless! Love the content, here's my sub 🎉
32:22 I just wanted to say that the web strike is actually really good, like REALLY GOOD, basically I don’t remember the controls but if you time it correctly you can literally turn enemies into helicopters and bay blades, it’s honestly the best part of the combat if you use the black suite you can ride them as a skate board.
you forgot about the iconic "The Amazing Spiderman in the Villain Round-Up 2007, Jakks Pacific 5-in-1 TV Game" That plug n play game was a great part of my childhood

Grew up on Friend or Foe. Love that game
i was glued to my screen till the end of the video, such a great video with a great sense of humor, this is peak
Ultimate spider-man has been a special place in my heart and will always be my favorite spider-man.
Amen bro
Think it’s safe to say that’s I’ve found the most underrated UA-camr on the platform. How has this guy only got 9.5k subs lol
Dude this video needs more attention one of the best vids I’ve seen in a while
I felt that speach when u talked about Insomniac Spiderman, man.. it was one of the best things in my childhood.
I just wanna say I really like this editing and sprite animation. I don't think people have pointed that out. Great!
@@thelastronin7990 thank you man it took a lot of time and effort to pull those off so I’m glad someone appreciates it 🙌🙌
This editing is actually insane huge props bro!
Thank you bro! Took forever 😅
Hopefully he will get more cool scenes this upcoming movie since he met up with the squad again.
brother should've changed that game's videomaker title to "Spiderman Can't Save Anyone"* 😭🙏
It was absolutely hilarious
Fire video man, loved the editing and severely underrated
i'm in love with ur work ...
😏😏
this video is so greatly edited!! i love this
I can agree 100% when Jacko says that The Spectacular Spider Man show is the best spider man show the drama in that one show is on another level dude!
Amen bro Spectacular the best 🙌
it's not really a contest, let alone a fair contest. it's literally the only show that was ever allowed to be anything remotely mature. well, okay, that and the MTV CGI series. all the others were forced to be outrageously kiddy, even by the standards other superhero shows were put under. Remember when Smythe's spikes and blades were turned into laser tentacles and scallopy ridges?
easy sub to you my guy this video is the definition of rewatchable keep it up
LETSS GOO IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!!!❤
HELL YEAH!
What where you waiting for
Underrated youtuber. Spiderman is and always will be my favorite superhero. God bless you, man ❤️🙏
0:22 this is SPIDER man!! little web little web little web
Avgn
I still think that the Spider-Man Miles Morales game, was something like the GTA Vice City to GTA 3, it started just as extra content, and due to the Ps5 being released, it had to grow enough to become it's own game and it did.
Bro, shattered dimensions for the DS was GOATED!! You right the tho, boomerang was crazyyy
Idk when you were born...but maximum carnage, the animated series Spiderman, and separation anxiety are gold. They were very challenging but that's what made them good games back in the day. Them joints are golden👌
You're fired, you didn't play Spider Sense Spider-Man And The Masked Menace from 2008. It was plug and play game
Mr Aziz please I need this job
@@JackoPanterino😅😅😅
@@JackoPanterinoYou should make it a short or something! That was the first spiderman game i played and i have so much insane nostalgia for it, its honestly really good!
Amazing spider man 6/10 lmao it was the cleanest Spider-Man movements and swinging felt soooo real that it would scare you as you got closer to the ground...they created the feeling that we all were looking for! Just swinging around was epic!
Tbh I really liked spider man 2 but I also extremely loved my nostalgic replay of spider man 2
Lol im fast
@@BLKYLNspider42 heh see you found my comment have a good day
What a great video buddy, a 52:43 worth watching. I’ve never played a single Spider-man game until now but I might try the last 3 you mentionned! Looks insane
11:02 So here’s a fun fact. When they were making the Spider-Man 4 game, They used a lot of assets from a game called Prototype, if you have a keen eye, you can see a lot of the reused assets, and they were both under the publisher Activision.
I was shocked to see that you only have 16k subscribers 😮. This is the level of production and editing that you only find in a couple of big channels.
Your channel is going to blow up, dude. I guarantee it!
Remember us first subs when you hit 100k 💪
Appreciate you bro 🙌 ill remember you lot don’t worry 💪
I just liked and subscribed. Please keep doing the " I played every ------ game ever and your narrative is hilarious 😂. Thank you for the content.
@@hitmanphotoz57 thanks a lot man! I will for sure keep doing this type of videos don’t ya worry
I can't believe you just badmouthed PS1 Venom like that...
bro i loved this youtube video and the quality and time put into it was evident in every frame, you got a new sub 🎉
@@BrayMo09 thank you so much!
Spider-Man 2 on pc was my first Spidey game I have ever played. I thought it was a freaking blast as a kid
yoooo the Spider-Man 2 PC version was actually one of my fav super-hero games as a kid.
1:42 who the hell is odebo
super well produced video,, I hope your channel gets the recognition it deserves
My favourite bit 7:45
lmao me too
Best comic story ever.
Same here lmao
I opened this video thinking i would skip most of it but boy i was wrong. U made my meal 10 times more enjoyable and even after finishing it in like 15 mins. I didn't even realised it was ending until we arrived at the 2010's. Truly a masterpiece of a video.
20:25 bro hit me so hard with nostalgia i almost got a heart attack 💀
LOL
u having 14k subs is criminal u def deserve more hope you get there one day
At 27:17 mj be looking like makima
I like how you also played various versions of certain games if they were different enough. Awesome video.
Appreciate that! I would’ve been slaughtered in comments if I didn’t lol so I’m glad I got them all in there 🙌
Execute Order 66………. SPIDER-MAN GAMES.

@@JackoPanterino:D
Honestly I wish Insomniac would really put emphasis on “Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” and give us random encounters where we can help people with random and small problems.
I’M SORRY AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO SEES R2D2 at 2:05
NO
You forgot to mention the part in Spider-Man 2(PS5) where peter gets his ass kicked by a refrigerator
Did anyone mention the Questprobe or Simulmondo games? Those are the forgotten unicorns of this list.
Web of Shadows not getting a 10/10 is actually a crime. Easily the most innovative and interesting Spider-Man game of all time
Maximum Carnage with the RED CARTRIDGE was my all time favorite Spiderman game as a kid, that game ROCKED and is right up there with the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers game on the SNES.
Yooo me too, I would just leave my ps on to continue then I finally beat it in one day
This was so amazing, I watched the whole thing, it had me completely intrigued the whole time. Thank you! I hope you guys have an amazing and spectacular day!
@@ozzy3127 thank you so much dude! Glad you enjoyed it :)) have a great day aswell!
Great video bro. Spidey is my favorite superhero. I also appreciate the minor shoutout for the Spider-Man Great Web trailer.🔥💯
Absolutely solid video my friend 🤙🏻 one thing I noticed, Ult. Spider-Man was never released on the Wii. It was for GameCube (my childhood way of playing)
Regardless!
Spider-Man 2:The Game - PC version is my childhood game. So many memories. I used to play it with my cousin on old grandpa’s PC.
you forgot about the iconic "The Amazing Spiderman in the Villain Round-Up 2007, Jakks Pacific 5-in-1 TV Game"
That plug n play game was a great part of my childhood
Watched this during treadmill at the gym. Wish activision or sony could bring some of these games to play for the nostalgia great vid
I agree they need to bring them back 100% appreciate you 🙌
The Vent in “Spider-Man” brought back a core memory. You need to shoot a web at the vent and pull it off.
I remember this one Spider-man game I played as a kid, where the controller was these wrist straps that you would wear and when you did the hand to shoot webs it would shoot webs out at the same time on the game.
