    I believe Monsters Inc. Scream Team is technically supposed to be a sort of prequel. It shows you how Sully and Mike became the scarers they are in the movie by working through training towards a graduation. After collecting all bronze, silver, and gold medals, there's a brief ceremony for their achievements. It is indeed very repetitive because you unlock a new special ability after obtaining the bronze medals in each 4 level area. It's not until you unlock this ability that you then have to go back into each of those levels to finish it out by getting the silver and gold medals.
    I absolutely loved this game as a kid and would always rent it from Blockbuster, and of course I was never good enough to finish it before it was time to return it. As an adult I decided to track down my own copy to relive it, and while it's nostalgic, I agree that it's a very repetitive game. However, I don't think I'd ever get rid of it 😂

  • @BellendKon

    4:16 cutscenes ripped straight from movies were big deals when we were kids because movies weren't so easily accessible. Unless you owned the VHS tape, you couldn't watch the movies unless they were being shown on TV. So being able to rewatch scenes in the game was a cool thing.

    About WALL-E:
    I should really save this for a video idea of my own but I would like to provide my two cents on the matter.
    (Asobo) WALL-E PS2/PSP/Steam is a horizontal platformer video game primarily based around puzzle solving. The large open levels and extensive amount or collection makes this game very lengthy. Amazing for people who love Collectathons and a bit of a bore for those who love quick and easy games.
    (Hence why my brain said 'skill issue' when you couldnt get past the 4th level.)
    I will say the rest of the game becomes a lot better as it goes on, and over all I'd say it's a 5 star game.
    (Heavy Iron) WALL-E PS3/XBOX360 Is a platform heavy level progression game with 9 levels in total. Each one has a unique environment and gimmick to go along with them. Large areas and incredible sights to behold.
    (Heavy Iron) WALL-E Wii is almost identical to the PS3/XBOX360 edition however, due to the team splitting halfway through development to make the Wii port it ended up becoming like a sort of BETA of the HD console edition.
    Dispute the differences in gameplay and direction they both follow the same story as the film up until the garbage disposal part when the outtake becomes the rest of the story. This is due to the game being developed along side the film.
    (I will not spoil the movie for those who haven't seen it. I just heavily reccomwnd the watch)
    As for the music. The game ost is completely different from the films. Not a bad thing. Bruno Coon cooked with the ost. I reccomend the listen.
    In conclusion:
    Asobo ver. Is a very long wall e game for those who enjoy collectathon games. 27+ lvls and extra
    Heavy Iron ver. Platformer shootemup based on level progression. 9+ lvls and extra
    Heavy Iron Wii ver. Is the same except due to memory and time constraints they chopped the game into 75% of itself and replaced the rest with Wii Party mini game knock offs. Though it does give good in sight to the games development. Sorta. 9 lvls + extra minigames.
    Over all I enjoyed these games. (Theres a DS version I have yet to play. Leap Frog got a game, it was fun. I heard of a mobile ver. That's about it I think. Plug n' play? Idk.)

      If you want better insight to the games there's a whole discord community and a few videos that go into better detail.
      I however say take your time with the games. I feel like you will find your way to have fun.
      O do reccomend spending time in hunting down for a (Heavy Iron) XBOX/PS3 version of the game. It's got a lot of heart put into it.
      In fact, the director said:
      "It deserved more love than it got"
      Likely meaning that Disney rushed the crap outta the game.
      Edit: you can see some be5a footage through game trailers, etc.

    Toy Story 2 was a great adventure game fitting a big adventure movie. My only note is I think it would’ve been fun to involve the other members of the crew (Potato Head, Slinky, Rex, and Hamm) more than just quest givers, like play as them and use them for specific tasks or team ups.

    You can jump that half pipe in WALL-E. Just press the jump button at the top when you’re at the top of it. I know it does NOT look like you can, but yes you can. Once you’re inside the tower you’re almost done the level.
    Work Day is one of the longest levels and definitely stumps first time players. There’s one more level after it that’s a little similar but more straightforward.
    Also like Ratatouille and WALL-E, Toy Story 3 has a different version on PS2/PSP. I believe it’s on PlayStation Plus too.
    Final edit- I believe Infinity was released on Steam not needing the toys anymore.

    • @zeroman0460
      @zeroman0460 2 місяці тому

      Someone else that played Wall-E! It's such a great game. Sure Disney Infinity on Steam is a good choice if you don't plan on spending for the Figures, but all 3 versions are missing data that were in the originals and have somehow more worse controls then original too.

    • @adrianporter5749
      @adrianporter5749 2 місяці тому

      @ that sucks about the controls and missing content. I actually have all 3 Infinities for Wii U and a lot of the figures I found secondhand- I really like the art style.
      And WALL-E is a great game- first actual game I ever played and beat.

    • @zeroman0460
      @zeroman0460 2 місяці тому

      @@adrianporter5749 I have plans on collecting all the figures and power discs someday, because I loved the original so much... In fact I just ordered a copy of Disney Infinity 1.0 for Wii U. (I have 2.0 and 3.0 on Xbox One) I really want to enjoy the series again but I want to with ALL The Figurines and Power Discs, this includes the Infinite Variants (Everyone calls them Crystal Variants) and the Light FX Variants where the Light-Sabers light up. I already have the only Variant in 2.0 being Black-Suit Spiderman. The Variants are so expensive to get in Australia, almost no one ever sells them other then outside of the Region.

    Man, I get that the main gameplay loop is pretty basic but scream team actually is pretty fun (I haven’t played it since I was like 10 tho). The later levels have awesome design and puzzles. And I remember loving the snowboarding levels too. I just feel like it gets better the further you get into it and the level designs around the pretty lame game loop are really cool
