I think what it comes down to is Capcom couldn't crack shooting in 3d. MM Legends was good, but those tank controls. Plus it arguably couldn't capture the X audience that had grown up by then. You had a kids game when there weren't as many kids familiar with MegaMan

I’m intrigued about everyone’s comments. This video is great btw. I’ve been a huge fan since the very beginning. When the Mvc universe picked him up he automatically became my main in teams. But I miss the x series. I understand that they moved on with legends which personally I wasn’t a huge fan of. TVC was amazing in reintroducing him and I loved it unfortunately that was about it. Mvc infinite did him no favors since the game wasn’t a good imo. I still have hope that they can do right by him in adding him in mvc4 as a legit good character and good game. Only time will tell. Another Megaman x game while be a nice touch and I would be all over it. Merry X MAS TO ALL. Take care.

I was around 3-4 when i played the spider man 2 pc version. My father is a police officer and he had to do a east job (şark görevi) in turkish so we were in a town so little that it had 30-40 people living in it. Being a son of a government working family i had acces to many toys and a jank ass computer at the time which i shared with all of the other kids in the town. I was so scared when rhino blasted out off the wall on the first mission on prision. So i was calling up to my dad like “dad please kill him i’m so scared”. He didn’t know anything about how to use a computer or yet even play games with it but he always beat him up in the electrical chamber arena thing. I was flabbergassed when the mysterio trapped us in a alternate New York and then in space for his boss fight. And for those memories that game holds a dear place in my heart. I really think so at this day the level design is not that bad but i have to say that my opinion is mostly biased with nostalgia and my memories with my dear dad. I was playing superhero games but he is my only and real hero.

If you want a multiplayer spiderman game, battleglide is a vr spiderman game, it will have multiplayer in 2025, it was announced today actually!

Nothing disappointing about it. We don't need 3D megaman. 3D sonic blows chunks. Some game concepts just don't translate well from 2D to 3D and megaman is one of them.

MVC1 Sprite is GODTIER. Edit: During my childhood I was very fortunate to always having a PC and consoles. I remember playing Spiderman 2 on the PS2 on release and I didn't knew English back then so I spent most of my time playing just web swinging around. Then I played the PC version. Even back then I already thought that PC was way better than consoles but Spiderman 2 broke my mind. How a PC game is WORST than a ps2 game??? I didn't understand how it was possible. How the web didn't connect to buildings on the PC version? Why this is WORST than Spiderman 1 on PSOne? hahah Spiderman Friend or Foe is goated for me because I played for a week straight with my brother and we had GIGA fun. To this day, we are 31 and 30 now, sometimes we just: "DUDE REMEMBER THAT SPIDERMAN GAME LIKE ULTIMATE ALLIANCE? THAT WAS A GREAT GAME". Good times. Imo Spiderman 2 ps2, Spiderman ps4, Ultimate Spiderman are all really good games but Shattered Dimensions is the holy grail of spiderman games. Game just "gave birth" to the best thing that ever happens to Spiderman all these years: Spiderverse.
