"I don't know this Oscar Pardo personally; he is not a lawyer, he is a scientist, but I feel I can believe in him," hahaha....this was exactly what I thought at the beginning of my EB2 NIW journey when my husband discovered the Oscar's Green Card channel. Thanks Oscar :)
WOW! I have been looking for such conversation. I am also a psychologist but my field is Industrial and Organizational psy. This conversational is inspirational and allows me to make my endevour straight and focus. Thank you Christina and Huge Congrats on your well deserving success. Best of luck for future.
Really grateful for this video. Makes me hopeful for the future. Never thought an individual in the social sciences field could apply for NIW. Usually you see mostly STEM applicants.
Congratulations to Cristina! And also Thanks Oscar! Im also one of the people that trusted you and bought your guide in 2022, and it helped me a lot answering our RFE, we are waiting now for our consulate interview! I have a question related to the police records, my daughter lives in the US and she got it only from the state where she lives in, does she need the federal one? Thanks
Thanks for your comment lucienne, and congrats on your approval! I remember your story, and I am hoping you will share with us here or in the channel in Spanish when the time is right for you :) Regarding your question: this is what the NVC website says: "Note: Present and former residents of the United States do NOT need to submit any U.S. police certificates." Gracias 🙏
@@Lucy_LR39 Genial, me avisas entonces! Lo que dices es así pero como ves debajo de la tabla pone que los residentes en USA no deben enviar estos certificados, me imagino que porque ya los revisan ellos automaticamente
If Cristina is reading this, just wanted to say something that my lawyer had mentioned. If you had initially indicated you will go through change of status in your application, it would be a long and complex process to change it to consular processing. The opposite is pretty easy
Dear Oscar, after using your very important tips a Captain Pilot with additional Instructor potentials self petition got RFE in all 3 prongs whereas with the same credentials the other person got approved. Can you please take a look at the case with the RFE and give helpful tips?
Hey Oscar 👋! Could you share any insights on the EB2-NIW interview process at the Embassy? I'm not sure what to expect and would really appreciate being prepared for my appointment. Thanks in advance!
Hi Oscar, i got my eb2 niw package back because of the credit card issue. Is it better to send money order and should i send the same application package or print out a new one when sending it again. Thank you
Hi, I can't give personalized advice and even less without knowing all the facts. Generally I recommend an American money order above all payment methods whenever possible (USPS money order for example)
Thank you Oscar. My application packets are stapled in separate sections. Should i reprint new ones or send the same one? Its ok if you cant answer this but thank you for all your help.
@@acgrng3779 I haven't seen it so I can't tell. just make sure you send a package that is properly put together. Staples are a big nono. In my course I show how to prepare the package
Hi pardo. Im working as a teacher in texas. Currently in h1b, how can i apply for my green card. ?? I hav bachelor degree with exp in science, will i eligible for niw?
Hi, teachers have more difficult cases than others, you can can check this video ua-cam.com/video/JLl_iyoaKN8/v-deo.htmlsi=x1UMhfpzNoQeKVAn As for your other questions, I don't evaluate profiles , you should get info on this channel or elsewhere and decide if you can put together a case for yourself
Thank you! I suppose you could always try asking small businesses or charities that identify with your cause and would like to endorse your project. It would always depend on the amount of money of course.
@OscarsGreenCard: Thank you for making the videos to help the community! I needed your advice on a topic. My EB2NIW - I140 is approved (thanks to your videos) and I hold a Master's degree from USA. I would like to understand if my current job meets the NIW requirement. My current position requires a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of work experience. This is what USCIS website states: The job you apply for must require an advanced degree and you must possess such a degree or its foreign equivalent (a baccalaureate or foreign equivalent degree plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate, progressive work experience in the field). You must meet any other requirements specified on the labor certification as applicable as of the priority date. My lawyers said it should be fine but I just wanted a second opinion. I am confused mainly because of the following lines above, "The job you apply for must require an advanced degree" Thank you.
Hi, thanks for your kind words. I think you are confusing the general EB2 category (with labor certification) and the NIW route inside EB2. What the lawyers said is right.
Oscar, I want to pay the NVC Immigration Fee with a Visa debit card. The site asks for a Routing Number. There is nome for the debit card? What do I do? Please help.
This is for paying using a bank account. You can open a Wise.com account and inside you can open a USD account which will have routing and account number that you can use.

Congratulations. Your story resonates with me, got EB2 as a mental health counselor too. Listened to Oscar to fix my RFE
:) thanks for sharing!
Congratulations! Let’s try to connect! The more the merrier!
Hey, I would love to connect with you as I am just starting this process and want to use some guidance from fellow therapists who went this route.

I know, usually it's STEM. I'm glad if this helped and I'm sure Cristina is happy too!
I need her as my therapist because my mental health is overwhelmed with the immigration process lol
I think that could be someone's proposed endeavor :/
I love the way how Osacar smiles .😊

that's correct! It's always easier (and free) to go from consular to AOS. Luckily Cristina is already on her way to NVC (waiting for welcome letter)
Thank you so much! Yes, I am aware of the possible delays… but I think we are good!

Can one outside the boundaries of the US apply?
Yes

Can you catch someone who got VISA for EV-2 NIW of exceptional ability in business. Is there any chance after Trump victory.

You can only pay with a bank account within the US. You will need to get someone in the US to pay for you.
