I think she knew her style better than her Mum and sister. I’m not wowed by the final choice at all
Totally agree. Her first two choices looked great to me. I feel like the sister is just bossy and wants to have her way always.
Me either
it looks awful on her the mermaid ones looks stunning on her
@@wlorraine84 chances are she’s jealous that a style she wanted didn’t suit her and looks gorgeous on her sister!
@@facetwit99 I agree! I think it was too old and dowdy for her. Nice dress just not her perfect dress!
Sister chose a dress that suits her age group.
The straps and the top part look very aging. The first two dresses were much better
If i could like your comment more than once, i would.
So agree
💯
i didn't really like any of the dresses, tbh. sister was right in that the sweetheart neckline swallowed her up, but i don't think straps were the answer.
I agree!
So basically, pushy sister bullies her younger sister into getting the dress that she wants, then happily cries while bragging about how she's always right. She couldn't even tell her sister was just going along with it to appease her. Gross.
As an elder sister seeing this behaviour it is disgusting. Her sister's pick was horrible, made her look way older and covered up. The bride has an amazing body to showcase. She should have just went with her mom and/or just her friends. I really hope she got another dress
The show is set up. My sister is nothing like they portrayed her. And I did not buy a dress from here..
@@nesrinahmadi2000 That's good news! I hope the day was very beautiful for you.
@@nesrinahmadi2000 I'm so glad to know you went with a different frock than the one you said yes to. I hope your day was wonderful! Greetings to you from North Carolina, USA! 🇺🇸
@@amyg9518 thank you x x
where's Gok when you need him
Yeah, I miss him
Facts
I don't like him.
Mmm, true. But I picked my dress by myself. I know what I want, I know my future husband will love it. I dont get why these people bring in a peanut gallery. Have enough confidence to pick what you want.
@@sarahreynolds6805 Same here. My mom wasn't crazy about my dress, but I paid for it, so there wasn't much she could say. She did offer to pay for the alterations, which was nice, but she never really liked it. But I knew it was the dress for me, so that's what I bought.
Welcome to another episode of its not your fucking wedding 😃
Your comment says it all.
Lol exactly
Periodt
Hahahahahaha🤣
i'm so pissed off, how dare she!!
Imagine getting fashion advice from someone wearing a shade of pink lipstick from 1987
Riiiight!!!
Was thinking similar
What a insult 😹🤣
Wow. Didn't realize lipstick shades had eras. !!!!
The shade of it all…
Why does the consultant keep asking "Do you think your sister will like it?" anyway? You're working for the bride and helping her find what the she likes, not the sister.
She is your sister though, not your daughter...... Regardless, respect is important
Sister has no class.
Maybe she’s secretly her mother!!!
The sister is crying bcz her little sister picked the dress she chose🙄
Right…like god damn grow up already
She was so specific and clear about what she wanted. smh the incompetence here is frustrating. Mermaid dresses that are more streamlined (like a trumpet where the flare starts lower) do exist!
Sad for that Bride. She really is under everyone’s thumb. I thought her second dress was perfect on her. The last dress was so matronly.
And I seriously hope she doesn't end up under her husbands thumb.
Me too; it's what she wanted in a dress. So sad. Yes the last one made her look older.
I dont they seem lovely
That was the wicked sister's plan all along.
Appears she didn't get what SHE actually wanted....but sister did! The one shedding the tears. What's wrong with this picture? Everything, because it's all backwards.
And her mum just sat there a let her domineering older sister dictate what type of dress the bride had to go with.
Not much of a supportive mother.
This show is set up. My mum is super supportive and my sister is my second mother and is nothing like how they portrayed her. There’s a lot said and and done behind the camera so don’t believe everything you see
The dress the sister forced her to have was so matronly. Didnt look right on her at all. The bride knew what she wanted, and she should have had the balls to stick up for herself. Her sister is a big headed know it all with hideous lipstick! The bride is so pretty, and you could totally tell that she wasnt *really* in love with that dress. I dont blame her.
Poor girl ended up having just what her bullying much older sister wanted !!! WHAT a shame Mum didnt step in on her behalf and tell BIG sister to let her choose what she wanted .. other two dresses suited her much more for her age and trying on a few more styles she could of got something amazing !!
I feel like the sister is mentally shopping for a wedding dress that she feels she isn't going to be given the opportunity buy/shop her herself
Thought that at first but she’s already married
She is already married tho
Yes, she's married, but I also feel that *now* she was shopping for the dress she wanted to have for herself in the first place, but she didn't have. So she forced it on her sister.
Her sister is obese. She won’t fit in any of them.
@@odedoyco8717 HOW RUDE! How disrespectful can you be!
Honestly y’all just don’t bring your sisters with you 😂
I would be devastated if my sister didn’t invite me… I do know when to shut up however 😁
Glad my sister isn't as controlling as hers. So i can bring her without having second thought.
i dont even have a sister i have 3 brothers lol
Right, my three sisters are REALLY opinionated but I also wouldn’t buy a gown without their input lmao
i dont think the bride had a choice either, the sister looked like her mum even more than the mother. the sister probably pushed herself into the party. if she is 23 and the sister has been married for 21 years- she must be at least 40? and the mom 65? going by super average ages. the sister probably called the mom's choices outdated and decided she would be the face of the entourage with that lipstick. the weirdest part for me is how a lot of these pushy/ controlling families are very common and only on camera does the cringe actually feel like it. otherwise it seems to be a problematic norm for everything.
I just hope the sister watches this video and read the comments... Come on, Nesrin didn't look that excited for the final dress
I wrote that as well. The sister needs a reality check.
Not everyone knows exactly what they want. Helping them figure it out is literally the consultant's job. Yet look how irritated David gets when this bride is only just in the 3rd dress. 4:40 I would never go to this store.
As with all these episodes, I usually assume there were other dresses tried on that just didn’t make the cut for the sake of the episode length
@@Aaakeith I usually assume the same, but David's comment at 4:40 tracks precisely to the 3 dresses we were shown. I believe we did indeed see every dress the bride tried on, at least up until the moment of his comment.
He often gets frustrated - not sure if that is the editing, but I wouldn’t want him for a consultant. He should have taken more control of the sister - she had been married for 21 years and her taste is obviously a lot different.
Neither would I! I'm not British, but if by some miracle I were to Ever get married again [ha ha, not gonna happen!] I would travel from my home state of North Carolina to have an appointment with Auntie Gok in Lancashire, or to Curvy Brides Boutique to have Jo and Al as my consultants.
When the sister said she hate everything about the dress, I was like: Who’s wedding is this, yours or your sisters 🙂
Second dress was perfect for her... she's too influenced by older sister who FORGOT it is NOT HER WEDDING 💔👎😡
Better taste! I know everything! I don't like it! I don't love the corset back! I this! I that! Oh c'mon! Do you really know what lipstick will look good on yourself!
Her sister acts like she knows everything about dresses
Oh dear. Nesrin looks absolutely beautiful in almost everything! I have to say though, by the way this was edited I don’t know if the bride is totally convinced with the final dress. The strapless looks GORGEOUS on her! Wish she would’ve gone with one
Thank you ❤️ but the show is very set up and I did not wear or buy that final dress xx my wedding trailer is on my husbands UA-cam Edris Ahmadi x
Were you directed to pick that one for the show or was it that you didn’t find anything and they should pretend to pick something after time ran out? Or something else?
@@sarasamaletdin4574 I didn’t find anything I liked so they just said if you want for the shows purpose you can say yes to the dress so I did
I have four older sisters and I am bringing NONE of them with me when I go wedding dress shopping
Shes so sweet and beautiful butttttt... She’s gonna return that dress. Can’t wait to watch the episode 😂
“I already told him if he doesn't cry I'm walk in back” I love her 😂 😂
poor girl definitely settled because of her sister...
Sister you ruined your sister's dress choice. The first three looked beautiful on her. And she certainly had the figure to pull if off. But instead you put her in a matronly dress and make her feel like that's what she should choose. SHAME on these relatives that pick for themselves and not the BRIDE!!!
Honestly fantastic job to Danielle for turning that around but i can't help feeling that Nesrin only chose that dress to get her sister to shut up.
She looked amazing in dress #2 & #3. That last dress made her look old, it was the dress wearing her and not the other way around.
Sister is a control freak.
Love the show..the one thing that put me off was the bride saying.."he's gonna earn a lot of money and I'm gonna spend it". Babe, you can earn your own, if not, be respectful of his earnings.
“He’s going make a lot of money and I’m going to spend it”
Haha
The bride was in a rush *and* was put under huge pressure by her family. She wasn’t crying about the dress at the end of the appointment, but she’ll be crying about the dress at the wedding
I can't stand a wishy washy bride that is incapable of standing up for herself! Does her sister pick out Nesrins clothes every morning? Know what you want and don't be a doormat your whole life!
I preferred the second or third. The one chosen was far too heavy for her little frame, and she also too young for the last dress. She should have a more youthful light dress
@matthendrix207@gmail from the north pole😉
The sister's neon lipstick says it all.
Just because you've been married 21 years doesn't mean you're a bridal gown expert
I loved how he just went "Santa Maria" XD ...
Sister should of stayed at home. I felt the bride didn’t really like the dress or have any feeling to it
Their mother looks young for her age when you look at the older sister, she carried on like she was the mother!
Think the sister should have given that 1984 shade of lipstick a second thought as well! Ick! 🤣
I think that girl hasn’t got a personal opinion, clearly needs the approval of her sister who is sooooo rude and dominating !!
If that were my sister she would finish the appointment sitting outside the shop on the curb.
I don't understand siblings who overtake the consult. Maybe we were lucky... but I can't recall us disagreeing much, if at all, when I helped my sister pick out her dress. Then again the dress I pointed out was based on what she said she liked and considering the groom and wedding reception and stuff.
The Mother just sat there said nothing as her eldest daughter overtook everything. Horrible woman
I liked the first dress the best... the last one wasn’t bad, but I do think it would have suited the bride better as a sweetheart strapless gown, like she wanted.
I am at the beginning of the video and I question why producers put so much attention when someone doesn't agree with the other's opinion. Such a sharp shift in the background music doesn't make sense to me. It is okay when opinions clash and I don't think that the bride's sister was rude for such dramatic sounds😅
Her sister is nothing but a jealous, controlling bully.
Yet another episode of: It's not your wedding!
That sister -.-
I would've kicked her out.
When I remarry, I will go dress shopping ALONE!!!!
Anyone would think this over the top sister was her mother, why can't they just tell them to be quiet 🤐
Can we all agree when someone is trying on a wedding dress and you don’t like it to NOT say; “No! Get it off! I hate it!”
And instead say, “I just don’t think the dress is as beautiful as you are yet. Is there something else you wanted to try or do you really love this?”
Like c’mon...it’s not that hard to not use crushing words because if I were the one trying the dresses on with those I most trust and love I would feel SO vulnerable!
Her sister clearly didn't wanted her to have something she like. In her initial dresses the bride was smiling clearly indicating that she liked the initial dress. But her sister said a big yes to the dress in which she clearly looks upset. Can see what she wanted in the end
this sister is the meanest sister i have ever met. she is vicious! get her out!
Sister is beyond controlling!!! Let the bride pick her dress
4:26 maybe the first time I totally agree with David. That dress looked gorgeous on her. Way better than her final choice at least.
It will be a tough day for the older sister when she will realise that she's NOT always right..
Ok, now I'm addicted to this show, no cap
The sister would love to be able to get in any of those dresses!
David was right about a fine line critical vs critique
The second dress looked stunning on her!
Poor Nesrin had to cave into her sister's bullying. Nesrin didn't dare choose a dress without sister's approval. I feel sorry for her.
Am I the only one who loved the 2nd dress on her?
Nope! she looked good in dress 2 and 3 imho, first one was really a bit much and the last one made her look like she was 50 and getting married in Vegas. I can say that because she went back and got a dress that looked similar to #2
The Sister is acting like a Helicoptermom... She is so dominating her, that I dont now : is that protective or jealousy?
Feels the sister is jealous in all honesty just crushing the dresses the bride likes
The last dress hurt my eyes! Too much sparkly
Clearly the sister is jealous
Omg I cannot stand this sister. It’s pathological.
They manipulated her in picking the worst dress. It didn't compliment her
That first dress! Beautiful!! ♥️💕
I prefer the other strapless dresses but if she’s happy...🤷🏾♀️
But she really wasn’t.
She’s not happy honestly that’s manipulating. Just cause she’s older doesn’t mean anything
Being married for a long time does not make you an expert in choosing a wedding dress.
This is why brides regret their dress decision a month before their wedding
Ok, so she's happy in the moment but when time goes by will she be happy in the end wearing a dress her sister picked out? She should have picked the dress she liked, not her sister. 🙄
I’m not usually a fan of stapless, but I thought the last dress looked too matronly for her. The straps were also too thick and the mermaid style swallows her petite frame. She should have gone with her pick or continued shopping for a backless stress with thinner straps and a more straight style skirt that flairs at the bottom, like I have seen other ladies try on. I have a feeling she will change her mind about this dress. Just like other brides have done on this show when they go for a family member’s pick instead of their own.
Its better not to get a huge entourage (in general)
There's only 2 and mom is quite.
I mean in general
I loved the bride's dress choice but her sister's choice wasn't her, she liked the dress before the one her sister picked and honestly I loved that one
She just chose the dress to keep her mother and sister happy. It wasn't the dress she really wanted.
Let’s hope sister doesn’t do bride’s wedding makeup!
When I discovered that David Emmanuel was co designer of princess Diana dress my first thought was oh my God that tacky wrinkled dress. When she was walking down the aisle I told my mom why didn’t they get a material that didn’t wrinkle.
Early here!
no one cares about you being early. do you have a thought on the video?
@@deadfishy and no one cares about providing thoughts to you. 🤷♀️
@@vb132609 clearly you want to share...since you did...on a public video...
I just think she's jealous her sister has a slimmer shape than she does and she's saying she hates all the gowns out of spite since she wouldn't be able to fit any of them. Meanwhile, all those dresses looked amazing on the other sister
The dress she picked was beautiful.
An update! her husband posted a wedding video and she DIDN'T WEAR THIS DRESS!! The dress she did wear is strapless and looks amazing. Not quite a mermaid, but hopefully it was more her choice. She and her husband look beautiful and SO happy. ua-cam.com/video/IxYV9O57yMg/v-deo.html
7:40 I I'd know he knew Spanish lol
The first three dresses were better in my opinion. This dress is for a more mature bride. I wish she would come back with just her mom and a friend and try again.
She said she was happy but I didn’t get the feeling she really was.
I think the same. The embroidery of the first one was amazing and the other two were awesome as well. But the last one just didn't feel like her and it seemed too heavy on her for some reason.
@@yashityagi8117 I was thinking the same thing. The top and straps were too heavy for her neck and face.
Someone commented in another comment that she ended up wearing a sweetheart neckline like she wanted. I saw her dress on her Instagram
A narcissist is always right.....even when she is wrong.
David at 5:19: “Nesrin doesn’t know what she wants”
Nesrin throughout the entire episode: “I want a mermaid dress with sweetheart neckline”
What David should have said was:
"Nesrin doesn't know how to stand up to her Sister telling her what she wants"
@@Haif39 yh, the bride was like the doesnt like the puffiness and then she said she doesnt like the slimmer dresa
And for the dresser to say that you can't have a backless dress without straps isn't correct. It's very possible to do it... if you know what you're doing
I loved the puff in first two dresses though ...they were beautiful
exactly WTF!!!!! Just not so much puff! I've seen dresses that are a lot smaller at the bottom. They fucked up on this one.
This here is why I prefer the Lancashire clips. Gok would never have let the sister push the bride into choosing a dress that she didn't really like.
Gok would've also put Nesrin in a far lovelier frock that was within budget. I'm not British, but if by some miracle I were ever to get married again, I would travel from my home state of North Carolina all the way to Lancashire to have an appointment with Auntie Gok...or the ladies from Curvy Brides Boutique, Jo and Al. Those are my two favorite SYTTD boutiques.
@@johnnabuzby6103 Yessss my favorites
The sister is not opinionated, she's clearly dominating.
Jealous
Narcissist.
Rude
she’s just jealous her sister has an amazing body😩
I was wondering where the problem was, but then she put on the third dress and it was utter perfection, and that’s when I knew the sister was full of s*it
So sad. She didn't shed a tear over her dress. It seems like she is just getting it because they want her to.
I thought so too. Glad the other sister isn’t mine!
Very sad too... The mermaid dress was her dress
She ended up getting married in a different dress that’s more in line with what she was asking for!
She didn’t look happy. She said only because of her sister and that’s such a shame.
A person doesn’t have to cry to show that they like something. I’m 31 and I’ve only cried of happiness once, when my daughter was born. She may not love it but crying or not crying doesn’t say anything 🤷🏻♀️
The mother acts like she's an auntie or a barely interested neighbor. The whole appointment was about the sister. I'm not convinced that the bride to be was all that committed to the dress.
when you have that many kids with that much age difference, you can virtually guarantee that there's some parentification of the older kids going on, so i think it's very likely that the mother acts more like an aunt because she was a lot less involved in raising the bride than the sister was.
Well they do edit episodes like who speaks to suit the narrative.
@@dietotaku I have 6 siblings, none of them ever “parented” me, my parents did that.
It looks like the sister has assumed the mother role because of the age gap not that she parented her.. I think she was just smitten with her baby sister and still is ❤️
@@yvonneblake2 - Either that or a little jealous
I can't stand Sally. She had her day, this is Nesrin's. It's always sad when a bride caves into what other people want.
🤣 actually ‘say yes to the dress’ was all a set up. It’s all fake don’t believe everything you see on tv
That is why none of my family members/friends went with me to pick-out my dress! These days, brides bring the 'whole entourage' with to get a wedding dress! Ridiculous!
She ended up buying a different dress! Her husband posted their wedding video; I'm so happy she chose something different!
Ahhhh good! This dress wasn’t even a little bit show stopping. It felt like she was just settling!
The dress she wore looks a lot like the 2nd dress, which seemed to be the one she loved until her sister started hating on it.
Good. Because that dress was not right for her. It swamped here tiny figure.
I saw their wedding video! She chose a dress that suited her much, much better, one exactly as she described! Also, I didn't see the sister anywhere in the wedding video, wouldn't she enjoy a pride of place near the front, if not in the wedding party? If someone could point her out to me?
@@RRonco she is in the blue dress, right side of the front row with the bridesmaids. There are a few shots of her throughout the rest of the video, too. Like you, I didn't see her at first, but went back and looked carefully at her face at the bridal shop, then back to the wedding.
Do you agree that her dress looks very much like the second dress at the shop? It's not the same, but the same style.
"She trusts me for a reason." The reason is she doesn't dare disagree with her domineering sister.
Exactly.
Neither does the Mum, the sister even went so far as to say she was a "mother" to her sister, totally disrespectful all round!
It seems like the family have always been treating the bride as a lil kid. She doesnt seem to have courage to decide anything by herself....
her older sister seems a lot older so she's probably been the baby by a long way for a long time
The older sister is maybe 10-25 years older than her. Maybe her mother was in her teens/young 20s when her older sister was born.
It's a similar dinamic that we have, my sister is 8.5 years older than me & she acts as if she were my mother, I can't stand it though, so I always talk back to her🙄
@@MonkeyDLuffy-rr3wl i can totally relate to this. My sister is 9.5 years older than me and she too can be VERY bossy. It’s like she doesn’t care about my opinion at all. I was just picking wedding dresses and she would just talk poorly at all my choices.
@@Perennial1997 Oh, so you've picked a wedding dress😯 well done😌
I'm not in a relationship, let alone marrying someone soon, but I said to my mom that my sister'll either be not invited to my wedding or if I invite her, she'll sit as far from me as possible, she won't hug me & definitely won't have any role of arranging the ceremony, finding my dress & definitely won't be my bridesmaid, even if she gets married & I'm chosen to be her's. (It's unlikely tho, she's anti-marriage)
Welcome to Turkish family structures.
She is lucky she can pretty much pull off whatever dress she puts on. The 2nd dress was much prettier. 😥
She needed to pull off the dress her sister chose...it made her look, I don't know...some kinda way that wasn't too flattering. The straps were just...No.
My exact thoughts.
the last dress has a more mature look so it didn't suit her well when she has a younger look
"I hate it!"
"I really don't like it"
"Get it off"
"I don't like that, I don't like that"
"It's hideous.."
"I have a better idea"
Okay we get it, you don't like it you don't have to keep going-
Only because the bride found her real dress (#2; a TRUMPET, NOT "mermaid") and pushy sister hates that her "baby" looks a grown-up and can make her own decisions (hopefully).
they acted shocked that she didn't like it so she explained why. simple lol
Narcissistic Sally.
@@diannaanderson I so agree. I voted for the 2nd dress. What a hateful woman her sister was.
I thought the goal was to have the bride crying happy tears, not her sister...
So true.
"Its time for me to step in and find her a dress." Nope. stop being so opinionated as if its your day and actually listen to your sister.
‘Nesrin doesn’t know what she wants’ i’m pretty sure she did, she just wasn’t sure how to put it into words. Not to mention she was being influenced by an opinionated sister and David mocking her indecision 🤷🏼♀️
Yeah , David did not do justice sadly
David is often condescending and treats the brides like they're five years old.
@@angrydonutface7420: Cannot stand this git.
@Holly Ess David was talking about the dress shape, especially the bottom. The bride was talking about "less pouf, less pouf" but she liked everything else of what the consultants picked. Then, when David put her in one that had "less pouf," she wanted more pouf.
So, yes, David was OK in saying that he was getting confused by her direction. I am aure EVERYONE who was trying to find her a dress was confused as well. He said that ONLY for her to give better direction of what she wanted. Because she was all over the place in terms of the bottom of the dress that she wanted.
@Angrydonutface So, if someone you were trying to dress told you"less pouf, less pouf" then suddenly "more pouf," what would you think? Wouldn't you be confused as to how much she wanted?
He was not condescending when he gave HER WORDS back to her and noted his feelings of confusion. How else would you want him to do that? He didn't say it snarkily or to demean her. He was trying to get her what she wanted, and she was NOT being helpful in terms of the dress shape.
