her brother was honest about the belt but wasnt rude or mean and was just so sweet.
He was also right - it would look way better without the belt. I didn’t mind the bow at the back but the jewelled part didn’t work - your eye goes straight to it so it detracts from the rest of the dress.
I liked the belt but it would’ve been nice to see what the dress looked like without it or even seen a few different belts tried.
I like how English people can state an opinion without rudeness and be supportive.
@@cathh3301 Either a solid white material belt across the middle there, or something more consistent in the beadwork designs (and in white, not silver!) The one they showed almost looked like a random sticker stuck onto the middle of the dress, and wasn't cohesive with the rest of it at all.

Why would he initially have her in an over budget dress? Thankfully she didn't fall in love with it and found one she loved within budget.
I think it’s was because it was the one she picked out.
Starting out with her very first pick to get her thoughts as to whether that was actually the style she wanted, then going directly to the opposite side of the style spectrum to really nail down the fact that her original idea was much more "her" while opting for options that her mother might like the little more in the process.
What a lovely brother so gentle and considerate with his opinions, in fact the whole family were lovely, no dramas or distressing the bride to be. The dress was beautiful I hope she lives happy ever after❤️😊

The 20's dress looked gorgeous on her. The last dress was more girlish and youthful. Suited her age better.

this may be the first time in one of these situations where I actually did like the added blingy belt! It really gave the finishing touch. I actually gasped a little when she came out in that last dress; it's not a dress I'd like on it's own but she just looked perfect in it that she hadn't in any of the others
Agree, I usually think the belt detracts but in this dress it added something necessary. She has such a beautiful figure and small waist, her waist needed to be cinched and the other dresses weren't doing it.

It’s so sad that even well-meaning people haven’t been taught that body-shape prejudice hurts everyone. In response to a previous comment, I was not judging the mother, just upset about a comment she made. Daughters are usually sensitive to their mothers’ comments about bodies (theirs or anyone else’s). I won’t be reading replies - learned my lesson.
I love the 2nd dress! that's the type of dress I'd like for my own wedding someday.

When I shopped for my dress I had my mom, 2 sisters,my best friend and my niece. They all have opinions BUT I did what I want! I didn't let anybody influence me or change my mind or insult me! It's about the BRIDE! These family members and "friends" are ridiculous! I love watching people get their dress but these people who "love" the bride to be need to SHUT UP! It's the mist🎉 important dress you buy and Everyone should focus on the BRIDE! Not themselves! It's NOT their Wedding!!!!!

Budgetwise it might be not the best, but I really liked the first dress. It showed her body so great and suited her personality. The third dress was great and I could have done without the belt. But the main thing is that the bride is happy.@@michellenaima9818

This was a family that was all about the bride. The title doesn't match at all. Sure mom thought she wanted to see bride in one thing, but said no, that isn't my girl. They all where kind and let the bride pick up what she wanted.
