It's good to remember that the sizing can be a seamstress error. I cannot imagine that she gained the amount of weight it would take to not get the dress shut without realizing it. The next size up was also big enough that one would expect the next size down to fit (granted, she probably dieted after the disaster fitting).
glad I'm not the only one lol. Also the videos where they ask for no illusion neckline and they put them in one!!!! if that happens to me I will not be able to disguise my disgust lmfao
I had an illusion neckline for my wedding 3 years ago but I'm Egyptian so it matched my skin perfectly, it was practically invisible. I actually thought that was so interesting that most of them matched my skin since most flesh-toned things tend to be coloured for white people (at least in North America). There were only a couple (out of the maybe 10 with illusion necklines that I tried) that were too light-coloured for me and I hated how that looked
They could have just added a lace up corset back to the dress that was too small. Then if she gained or lost weight, the dress would fit her perfectly on her day.
Don’t the designers themselves have to approve that since that’s changing the structure of the dress? And to add the “corset” they still would have had to rebuild that portion of the dress for the support structures needed
Fun fact, a lot of Twilight was filmed in the town that I live in! Bella’s house is on the top of a hill downtown, and that whole scene when they’re all in town buying dresses is like a mile away from my house

Twilight was my childhood, and I'm so happy that someone had a vision for themselves in a series that was amazing at the time. That dress was made for her!

That’s adorable that they are both Twilight fans 🥺 I adored Bella’s wedding dress so I’m excited to see this! Edit: The dress she choose definitely didn’t give me Bella vibes or was my style but looked beautiful on her! I liked it much better than the first -not that my opinion matters at all. I wish I could see what their alter looked like! Did they do it in the woods? Did they have it in a church with white florals and vines? I’m invested now 😆
Not a fan of Twilight, but I had a similar experince: I really wanted a dress with fantasy sleeves and ended up getting a sleeveless one for my wedding
I am also obsessed with the saga and I LOVE bella's wedding dress. not her expression when she was coming down the aisle though. can someone explain why she looked so uncomfortable and nervous?
I think her expression is due to the nightmare she had the night before ... And until they were married I think Bella was anticipating that the Voltari would suddenly appear and ruin everything (what do you think?)
@@amandasnow3255 oh yes. i thought that she was thinking that her dream would come true but in the books and movies she rarely is afraid of him so that's why i was confused! but her nightmares are really vivid so i'm sure it bothered her a little bit. thanks so much for responding! none of my friends like twilight, they all make fun of it :/, so it's nice to have been able to talk with someone about it. :)
I've always thought it was because Bella is super duper shy so having to walk down the aisle in front of a big crowd, in very high heels and her clumsiness basically being a personality trait, was like her worst nightmare
Basically in the books and in the movie. The dress and heels were daunting to her. She was shy and embarrassed having everyones eyes on her. But the closer she walked to Edward the more confident she got. She knew once she was in his arms her fear would wash away
Also in the books it mentioned how she though this was embarrassing like a dance or prom, but them once she saw him her expression changed cause she knew it was right to get married
My issue with twilight is that toxic relationships are glamourised. Book Bella is better than film Bella (as per usual) but Edward is just creepy and Jacob is obsessive

It's good to remember that the sizing can be a seamstress error. I cannot imagine that she gained the amount of weight it would take to not get the dress shut without realizing it. The next size up was also big enough that one would expect the next size down to fit (granted, she probably dieted after the disaster fitting).
I love that it's 2021 and Twilight is not only still in our collective memory but is making a comeback!
It was never just a phase, Mum!!
If I see illusion neckline one more time, I think I will literally go crazy
LITERALLY ITS SO BAD
theyre always so orange against their pale skin 😭
It makes the dress look cheap imo cause I've seen so many cheap dresses with that tan looking mesh ..its not a good look
glad I'm not the only one lol.
I was the BIGGEST Twi-hard growing up, and when I saw this title I nearly melted
Me too!!
🐌
I clicked so fast to watch it!
Same, but at 4"11 I could never rock that dress style 😭
@@alos.h256 I'm 4'10 so I understand there's alot that we can't really pull off at our height huh 🤣
They could have just added a lace up corset back to the dress that was too small. Then if she gained or lost weight, the dress would fit her perfectly on her day.
@Matt Wilfred why are you being a creep?? you’re commenting on every women’s comments 🙄
Matt Wilfred beatlcc essbeeatles
My thoughts exactly, unless she was set on the lovely back buttons
If you were a seamstress you wouldn't suggest that.
Do you still get a lot of tourists/visitors?
@@naturallyamused not a ton for Twilight, the house is an Airbnb so there are always people staying there, and some shops have little signs like “this is where Bella stood in blah blah blah.” It’s also the town where Spirit of Halloweentown was filmed, so we get a TON of tourists around Halloween- so many that we can’t go downtown during the week of because it’s just packed wall to wall.
@@sam6864 aww...
So cool
Honestly we can all agree that the aesthetics and music playlist of Twilight is what makes the film so bad yet so _good._
No it's the sparkles. Vampires that turn into disco balls is crosses it into "Saturday Night Fever Style It's So Bad It's Good Territory"
The only real reason I don’t like it is Jacob lol.
Yes, the Twilight aesthetics would make for a beautiful wedding, even though I don't care for the series.
What made the movie bad was Kristin Stewart’s inability to act!
The playlist made sense giving that it was 2009 to 2012 thats when pop punk and alt music was huge cause scene kids and emos and even the classical songs make sense
The dress she said yes to is absolutely drop dead gorgeous on her, a perfect fit for her body type, her character and what she wanted in a wedding dress. Stunning.
I want the same wedding vibes from twilight with all the lights and flowers in the woods but not her dress, I want a big flowy dress with flowy sleeves and flowers and glitter
Absolutely, the wedding scene was so beautiful.
So you want a cottagecore wedding?
Yep!!! Me TOO!!! K
I like that they didn't ramp up the drama in the first story!
I won’t give Twilight any crap (because I love it)! I just want to say that Bella looked absolutely gorgeous in her wedding! A great inspiration and vibe for her wedding!
I love her lashes, so fluttery!
I do not get why brides "hope to lose some weight until the wedding" and order dresses too small. Girl, either you dedicate yourself to weightloss or you order the size you actually are, do not gamble and then stress out a few weeks before the wedding, yourself and the people selling it...
THIS
The Bella dress young lady looks just brilliantly gorgeous. I’m a twilight fan and a Bella fan. You do it girl, you do it
I love Christine Dando. She's always so kind, supportive, patient, and friendly. She's a real peach.
The girl whose dress was too small -- was she planning on losing part of her ribcage to fit into it? Weight loss/losing inches is one thing, but you have to remember you still have bones inside your body that aren't going anywhere! She looked beautiful regardless of size.
I think there might have been a fault in the making of the dress... I read somewhere that the actual experience is nothing like the show and number go wrong alot...
Plus it was still 2 months out from the wedding, and she's acting like it's the end of the world.
@@harshdeep8835 it absolutely is, but the second you add the word “wedding” to anything it suddenly becomes twice as expensive and takes 4 times as long. It’s a predatory industry.
She not fat omg
@@airannasamuels1198 No, but she was dumb to order a dress that didn't fit/was too small. Ignore the number and buy what will fit you and actually look good.
I'm still EXTREMELY OBSESSED WITH TWILIGHT!! I still watch it all the time. Read all the books several times. OBSESSEEEEDD
I can't get over her saying twilight is Sci-Fi...
She said she was fan of sci-fi and fantasy, not that Twilight was the former.
The Sci-fi and Fantasy genres are often grouped together because they have a tendency to overlap. She never said Twilight was sci-fi.
Well anything that depicts any supernatural can be seen as sci-fi, superhero films today is sci-fi
Both dresses on the girls are really stunning on them! They fit perfectly on them.
Actually, the gal with the Bella dress is shorter-waisted than the dress, which is why it was wrinkling up in the front just below her breasts. You can see it at 7:34. I hope they altered it for her because those wrinkles really distract from the overall appearance of the dress.
Ooo I so wish she went to Gok aunty...
Is aunty Gok even doing the show anymore Ankita CH ?
Why does he call himself aunty
@@lillylovesrain7072 Basically everyone gave him the name Auntie Gok - because of how much he cares for every woman he dresses. He’s the best Say Yes to the Dress shop/series in terms of really listening to the brides, making them confident and staying in budget, even lessening the cost of a dress in some cases so a bride can afford it and be happy..so everyone loves him like their favorite auntie :)
@@elisemiller13 Yes, he’s been filming, he put it on Instagram
I've seen the final dress she chose being put on so many other brides before in this show, but none fit the dress so well and look so good as it did on her
To be honest I am an average fan of Twilight. I mean I didn't read the books and enjoyed watching the movies (btw I'm #TeamJacob) but OMG Bella's dress was stunning !! It's one of my favorite wedding dress from a movie.
I felt so bad for the other bride. I am happy they got the dress on time !!!
Jacob is so so bad
#teamedward all the way 😂
Jacob is the man. 🔥
Wasn’t Jacob her soon to be son in law/ the future partner of her daughter wtf- how could you still ship that 👀
@@Marielm5 I know but until the last 2 movies I was shipping Jacob and Bella.
I never really liked Edward 😊
She definitely gives me twilight vibes ! Love it and love the dress!
Honestly a mood, because whether you like Twilight or not, Bella's dress was sooo beautiful. simple, elegant, romantic 💖💖
Agreed!
Bride: I want someth...
SYTTD UK: DANDO LONDON
Yea, it's always Dando London. I did not know until I saw this episode that Christine Dando is the owner of the bridal store. No wonder why they always sell Dando London to ALL the brides.
Ok twilight may be a hot mess of teenaged angst but the wedding dress was pretty
I NEED to see that Twilight themed wedding!!!
"It's okay if I can't breathe" lol
The pictures from convention that they met at, is hilarious.. cute couple
I get so drawn into stories like these. I just want people to feel happy in their bodies and wear the clothes that make them feel beautiful.
Hi 🙋♂️
I miss Lancashire :/// when will we have new ep from Gok?
Both brides looked lovely. THe Bella-esque bride looked outstanding in her dress. And what a figure!!! I loved how unusual the dress was...at least I haven't seen anything like that and I watch a lot of these videos and shows! I love the simplicity and elegance of the second bride's dress. Ignore the number, fit is the key. Happy weddings ladies!
They could have also given the option of making it a corset back instead of buttons. That way they could take it out a tiny bit and just put a panel and corset it up
Twilight was my childhood, and I'm so happy that someone had a vision for themselves in a series that was amazing at the time. That dress was made for her!
I clicked when I saw twilight. I love Bella's wedding dress😭😭 their wedding was just beautiful too.
out o topic but the second bride ace, hair and skin colour is just STUNNING , her shape is also so beautiful , jezz im in luv
This is probably one of my favorite dresses ever! It just fit her so well and it was sooo beautiful!!!
The nude-coloured mesh was too dark for the bride’s skin tone. She needs ivory mesh to make this gown perfect.
All brides looked stunning in their dresses.
Really The dress Bella was wearing was perfect🧡
There was very little lace on the actual Twilight wedding dress. Just a touch on the end of the sleeves. But the dress this girl chose was beautiful and suited her very well.
That second dress was gorgeous.
both brides looked absolutely gorgeous in their dresses, such a nice wholesome moment ☺️ Hope they were very happy on their big day and in their marriages afterwards 💜
Listen I'm actually obsessed with this wedding theme. It's so cute!!
Twilight is amazing, I'll say it
A Twilight theme is one that can easily be way too much, but this was so elegant and an homage to their interests. Surprisingly Loved this!
I’m invested now 😆
Google 'Our forever 2016 saharasplash'
She looked absolutely stunning
I'm glad it didn't fit.
. she is to skinny.....big dress, thin girl...it swallow her....
That lace train on the first dress though, it was so beautiful!
No matter what you think about the dress, Bella’s wedding dress was stunning.
This one is soo beautiful and just 1.6k - they have shown dresses cheap looking for more cost
I love twilight so I love her already because Bella’s dress was cute and the forest wedding was adorable
The second "Bella" dress had gorgeous lace details! I'm glad she went with that one!
the 2nd dress really looks amazing on her!
Bella’s wedding dress was absolutely gorgeous!
Oh. My. Goodness... the back of that Bella dress is absolutely incredible! Just gorgeous
Lauren dress was just absolutely gorgeous I loved it
I adore the Twilight dress, she looked absolutely stunning 😊😊
Everyone is like I am not a fan of Twilight .. I am a huge fan of Twilight😢♥️
Me too!!
My issue with twilight is that toxic relationships are glamourised. Book Bella is better than film Bella (as per usual) but Edward is just creepy and Jacob is obsessive
I’m a huge fan as well. I don’t care what other people think.
@@milliejay1451 if you look hard enough at any book, any plot, any story ... there will always be issues. I completely understand where you’re coming from, but it was a teen romance novel meant for entertainment lol so like the last comment or said, I like it regardless :)
The books were a little cringe but I loved them, they were great stories overall. The movies on the other hand... I can't even see stills from the movie without cringing in remembrance. I really didn't like the movies at all. Tbf I didn't watch the last ones, so I'm not sure if they got better by the end.
Omg I was waiting for a twilight wedding so long
Twilight wedding scene and Crazy Rich Asian wedding scenes are my absolute favorites. The one from Crazy Rich Asians is SO over the top but it had such special elements that I love (could never afford but love)
Yes! Those are the two wedding scenes I think about when I think about movie scenes!! I love both. Just crazy over the top beautiful
The first dress was best for the twilight one but the one she picked was still nice and gives her a uniqueness that's not just a fan tributing a film dress.
The "Twilight Dress" she picked is stunning!
The twilight wedding was the enchanted forest wedding of all of our dreams
Glad I’m not alone In the inspiration. Our song for our wedding is the song from the movie. I originally wanted the dress as well it’s so beautiful.
As someone who doesn’t see themselves getting married watching these give me so much joy
I love the Twilight Saga, and I'm very happy they found eachother. It's a very lovely couple
I never got into twilight but I always had an attraction to Taylor Lautner after seeing the first few movies with my friend 😂😂
Yeah i starting liking him from 2nd part n from 3rd i had a full crush on him. I liked him more than edward n still i think he is way more hot
I love that they met through Twilight. Twilight is my favorite movie, I love it so much. I hope they have a long, happy life together- forever! ❤️
I love all the fashion in the twilight series!!!
You know that Tawnie girl cried and stressed for weeks, i’d be destroyed.
Oh my gosh !! I've been waiting for some bride to ask for twilight's bella dress and here it is!! Yayyy!!!
wait a minute.. so Dando is the owner of this shop!! that explains so much lol
Know I know why they always oversell the Dando London dresses!
(sorry if I'm late to the party, I had no idea the designer was the owner of this particular shop! hahah)
@Matt Wilfred are you asking her where she lives? Because don't
@@i_5695 he is a creep commenting on girl's comments. It's disgusting.
