James Green She got thrown out with a letter that was given to her after The End of an Era concert due to bad behavior and going mainstream. As you can imagine, A LOT of fans were pissed, and some never forgave the band for that because many thought Tarja was perfect in Nightwish.
Tuomas cried during the last performance of this song with Tarja...I think the reason why I prefer tarja is because it was written FOR her. Whether want to believe tuomas had feelings for tarja is one thing, but he definitely thought she was the muse of the band and to have his “inspiration” essentially leave would be devastating.

My first time hearing this song, just decided to let the playlist go on. This song felt amazing. That moment where you stop what you're doing and sit there getting those chills. Man, this song is awesome! The vocals are incredible and everything is well timed and wow. I'm amazed.
I don´t understand how any person could dislike this song. it´s so dramatic and felt, Everytime that I heard this song I just want to back time to see her in stage perfomed this song. Floor has been doing a nice work with old nightwish songs I´m very gracefull with her work, but the sensitive of this song (and many others) had lost after tarja departure. (is just my opinion)
It s depending on what songs we speak about. In Love ghost score Floor is very good but in Nemo and Ever dream i prefer clearly Tarja. These two songs have some notes o r tones difficult to catch for Floor, not necessarily the hightest, and she forces too much her voice. In my feeling. By and large i like Floor a lot, she is versatile, smart, powerful, and she brings interesting innovations like, for example, perhaps, influences of germain expressonism. She copes very well with the old songs and for me she does not lack of emotion.
I think Toumas is able to create beauty and lovely songs, poems and music, but it´s probably that in relationships he isn´t greatness as in their lyrics. In my opinion that why Tarja prefer another person rather than Toumas. Insteads of that this songs always make me chill out.

Maybe he wasnt in love in Tarja as person, rather he was in love in singing goddess she is. I think many hints in different lyrics imply that. I remember I found out about nightwish in like 06, late to the game but I fell in love. Highest Hope's was my first album n this one song that got me through teenhood. Now in 2019 it reminds me of the way I used to feel and wish I could again Thank you for this

He made this song specifically for Tarja's voice and he cried when the song started, knowing that it would be the last time ever that Tarja performed that with him, as the band decided to release Tarja after that tour ;__; This song is super beautiful, but that live version hits me in the feels every time. I almost never cry in general but it's always close when I'm watching that. I'll always love the Tarja-era Nightwish the most.

When I saw Tarja singing on some video for the first time I was surprised that her face wasn't as sad as her voice sounds. This tone of sadness as if she is about to cry got me :D It was quite long ago, now I mostly return to Nightwish when I need to stay up late.

I discovered Nightwish guess that 2 months ago, when I saw people talking in a rock vid's comments about how they were amazing. I chose The Phantom of the Opera vid, and felt in love with them, after Nemo, Bless The Child and Over The Hills and Far Away I was a Nightwish fan. I disagree. I actually found Tarja slightly prettier than Floor. But much prefer Floor's vocal diversity and stage presence. I think Floor is who Tuomas has been searching for all these years. Just my opinion as I have recently discovered Nightwish so I might view things from a different perspective.

Doesn't get any better than this!!!! NIGHTWISH - Best symphonic metal band. All other bands pale in comparison to Nightwish.

It was heartbreaking when they played it at End Of an Era. At the start Tuomas was so upset.
I think Toumas is able to create beauty and lovely songs, poems and music, but it´s probably that in relationships he isn´t greatness as in their lyrics. In my opinion that why Tarja prefer another person rather than Toumas. Insteads of that this songs always make me chill out.
in Once Upon A Nightwish Tuomas says this song is so personal for him bc there he's "expresing his feelings of longing towards a certain someone".
@Red Rose There are dozens songs that he wrote about her. In one interview Tuomas said there are different types of love. Maybe he wasnt in love in Tarja as person, rather he was in love in singing goddess she is. I think many hints in different lyrics imply that. Also in much recent interview when asked about what songs from Nightwish she picks for gigs, Tarja said, she doesnt pick songs about her.

In the newer albums, I was referenced as The Sea Lady in the song Pan, followed by the words snow (indicating my purity) and glass (reference to my transparence/crystallinity and glass-like qualities) and apples (subtle reference to me as The Apple / the beginning and the end / Eve) in the same line, and they also included the line 'Reset the world' that is a reference to the Total Planetary Reset, and in the lyric video, they used Chess symbolism to show my importance by showing the Queen element destroying the pawns 6 times, and -- I was also subtly referenced as Mother Eve (in the song Endless Forms Most Beautiful) as The First One who is one with nature, and there's probably more, while in the song Procession there's a reference to the New World's Order and it's about how humans (the most destructive species) shouldn't have appeared...
In the older albums, the ClA included some subtle and more indirect references to me by planting those ideas, so in a few songs I was referenced as The Lady / The Siren, Aphrodite, The Queen, The Beauty, The Snake / The Lily among the thorns / The Prey among the wolves -- and a few other indirect references from mythology and other Disney characters that reflect/represent me only...
The ClA is the organization that has the full control/power and they've been around for over 130 years, and they created all industries/companies and all public figures/celebs and the media and all tech and the Internet -- they control all celebs and their life experiences, and, they decide their every move...
My protector Chip is one of the top ClA agents/programmers and he has been directly or indirectly involved in the creation of most lyrics and movies/videos and products etc over the past 10 years, and he (and the ClA) made sure to include references to me or to him or to the new system in many of them -- Chip represents the Reaper / Grim Reaper and the Devil and a demon and angel at the same time...

This song resonates so deep in me it makes me punch the air every time it finishes. That ending gets faster and faster that I keep crying and moshing. So epic it deserves the best AMV it can get.

When I saw Tarja singing on some video for the first time I was surprised that her face wasn't as sad as her voice sounds. This tone of sadness as if she is about to cry got me :D It was quite long ago, now I mostly return to Nightwish when I need to stay up late.

I discovered Nightwish guess that 2 months ago, when I saw people talking in a rock vid's comments about how they were amazing. I chose The Phantom of the Opera vid, and felt in love with them, after Nemo, Bless The Child and Over The Hills and Far Away I was a Nightwish fan.

I disagree. I actually found Tarja slightly prettier than Floor. But much prefer Floor's vocal diversity and stage presence. I think Floor is who Tuomas has been searching for all these years. Just my opinion as I have recently discovered Nightwish so I might view things from a different perspective.
