    Role of Manganese;
    1. Antioxidant enzyme
    2. Gluconeogenesis
    3. Detox ammonia-urea
    4. It’s involved in the brain (converting glutamate into glutamine)
    5. It’s involved in bone and cartilage 6. It’s involved in wound healing with collagen
Factors that cause Manganese deficiency :
    • Liver damage
    • Whole grains-phytic acid
    • Herbs (tea)-tannins
    • Leafy greens-oxalates
    • Glyphosate-GMO foods
    Thank you Dr Berg! 🐱👍🏿

For those of us who did not know any better, chlorella chelated manganese out of your body by 55%! That is how I started my defiance and did not know that you can only use chlorella for 2 weeks and then need to replenish your manganese. There is a national report on this. I wish I was told.

Thank you for this video. Organic doesn't solve the problem of mineral deficient soils. No farmer remineralizes their land. Senate Document # 264. Crops grown on heavily polluted soils to mop up glyphosate can by law be labelled 'Organic', because it isn't topically sprayed. Example: organic Peanuts, organic Soy, ... I know the suggestion to grow ones own isn't always feasable.

Your statement that no remineralizes their soil may have been correct 20 years ago. But now some farmers do. What percentage of farmers that do I can't say. But it is a current trend that's very popular. Manganese, magnesium, boron copper are common deficient micronutrients in soils of the USA

Try and up your fats and see how it goes. 2nd, it doesn't hurt to have 2MAD if you feel hungry. Just break your fast and hv 2 meals on that day. Start over the next day. It is also good to variate your eating pattern sometimes 😉 Hope this helps

    Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
00:00 *🌿 Manganese is a trace mineral essential for various bodily functions, primarily found in mitochondria.*
00:54 *🧬 Manganese superoxide dismutase enzyme acts as an antioxidant, neutralizing oxidative free radicals in mitochondria.*
01:47 *💉 Manganese deficiency may increase the risk of diabetes by impairing gluconeogenesis, the production of glucose from non-glucose sources.*
02:29 *🧠 Manganese plays a role in brain function by converting excitatory glutamate to calming glutamine.*
02:55 *💪 Manganese deficiency can lead to structural issues in bones and cartilage, affecting bone formation and wound healing.*
03:51 *🌿 Certain foods high in manganese may also contain compounds that inhibit its absorption, such as phytic acid in whole grains and oxalates in spinach.*
04:05 *🚫 Glyphosate, found in GMO foods, can block manganese absorption, potentially leading to deficiency even if consumed through plants or animals.*

Unfortunately not all wants to believe it by doing so they reject the biggest Gift God give us .
So even though Bible states Jesus died for all ,and God love is same to all but at same time Bible states that not all will take what God give them

Hey doc. I have been taking nutritional yeast for months now and was disappointed to discover that I was deficient in vitamin B1 still. Is nutritional yeast not very high in B1?

Check out Eliot Overton's channel for all things Thiamine (B1). It is extremely important. There is even a high dose Thiamine protocol that stops the progression of Parkinson's.

Thanks Dr. Berg. I would like to see a video that explains all about glyphosate and GMO produce. I know that glyphosate is a herbicide and that GMO stands for genetically modified organism, but how and why do producers use them together?

    • @fidelcatsro6948

Think glyphosate is used and poured on gmo plants which is genetically made resistant to the compound

fidel catsro, thx. I would like to know how GMO plants become “immune” to glyphosate. Does it block the herbicide superficially on leaves/skin or does it somehow neutralize the herbicide once it enters the plant through roots? Also, how effective is rinsing with baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, or other methods at removing glyphosate. I know they’re bad, but what happens to your body when various amounts of glyphosate or GMO foods are consumed?

Gene splicing allows plant breeders to install a gene or genes into DNA of a plant which makes it not affected by the glyphosate, so when the glyphosate is sprayed over the field, it used to pretty much kill everything but the plants that had the genetic modification. The glyphosate is used before any of the grain parts of the plant are even formed, also. Glyphosate has a lot of resistance built up by the process of "survival of the fittest", consequently it's use is declining fairly rapidly among US farmers. I know that common consumers don't want farmers using any pesticides on crops, but without pesticides in modern agriculture the farmers in the USA would be producing about enough food to feed 200 million people. So the poorest third of people would have starved by now.

I know this may seem picky but it drives me nuts that he mispronounces the word glyphosate. The emphasis should be on the first syllable and not on the second. He's the only one I've ever listened to that mispronounces it. I know it's being a little picky but it drives me crazy.

Dr. Berg research says manganese absorption from food is terribly low at 1-5%. This destines those with an increased need of manganese for deficiency. Can you please address this issue?
And is supplemental Manganese actually bioavailable or does it actually cause oxidants? Which type of Manganese would you recommend?

    • @Ivy285

      Chelated manganese supplement.
