Wow I have all pst every symptom n I kept telling my doctors they say it’s me not having a thyroid but I never had a thyroid I was born without and I know as soon as I got them done I regret it my Mom convinced me too my doctor didn’t even want to do it. … but it was after my 4 th child and I never had post partum depression but from that I had it bad… since I have had bad pms like what’s the point of living type pms I never had… horrible pms cramps I never had and actually thought my friend used over dramatized it but no I now know she didn’t… also every month when I ovulate I have horrible pain n can feel it go down my tube… so pain n cramps in front and back … doctors suggested taking birth control pills … I refused because that’s one of the reasons I considered a tubal because me not having a thyroid taking birth control in any form messed with me bad … so I wish I would have known getting my tubes tied would affect my hormones… libido did not go though 😂… i was suggested a hysterectomy he’ll no … I want my body back atheist somewhat as good as they can so I want a reversal … I’m 41
Since I’ve had my tubal ligation, I have suffered tremendously.. it’s been 14 yrs now and at first I thought after had having my 3rd child it was my hormones and eventually things will settle down. Well they didn’t not and as I was getting older and closer to perimenopause, things got worse. I blamed perimenopause for my symptoms, all though still quite young only 38 when my first weird hormonal rashes started to occur, I thought well some just go through it earlier than others? My periods were getting heavier and lasting 10-15 days. Days 1-4 I would have to change my tampon every 30-40 mins or I would bleed through. I barely slept having to change myself all night long, I couldn’t hold a job, because of this. It was a life sentence to my periods. By the time I was 41, the migraines, nausea and vomiting came along with every period. Then I developed insomnia 2 nights prior to starting my period, that no matter what I could not sleep, to then developing migraines, vomiting, extreme hot flashes, irritability and vertigo so bad I can’t even get up. Again I associated it all to perimenopause. Which it still good be some, but come to find everyone I know who had tubal ligation, which is 7 of my closets friends, all suffer these symptoms as I do. Many have been hospitalized to their bleeding having to have had DNC, to clean out their tubes, which all said it helped for a few months. I always had in the back of my mind that my tubal ligation was the cause, but not enough information to know for sure, but guaranteed this all stems from this procedure. Never once was I ever told that these effects could happen. I was only asked if I was really sure I wanted no more kids, because this permanent so be sure. I was having my 3rd c-section, so I was able to have it done during the procedure and even before my doctor performed this, she asked me repeatedly are u sure? Are u really sure? It was my 3rd boy and she said, r u sure u don’t want to try for that girl? Then said u 2 make beautiful babies, r absolutely positive? I said yes! I was never one to have issue getting pregnant and didn’t want to risk having an accident. Also 3 c-sections was more than enough on my body. But if I would known this shit, I would have taken the risk of a possible unexpected pregnancy.

I'm constantly asked why I haven't gotten a tubal ligation and every answer I give such as the ones you have mentioned are not taken seriously. I was told they're myths or it didn't affect someone else the same way. Also I'm seen that certain tubal ligations are not reversible. Are cauterized tubes reversible?
