Ladies PLEASE dont do it. I had my tubes tied and it ruined my life. My sex life is gone, weight gain, extreme depression, mood swings, periods are really bad and painful, i never knew all this would happen. I wish I had done my research before doing it. 😭😭😭
I already have this on multiple methods of birth control, including IUD, pills, shot. I think I can tolerate it with a permanent method where I don't have to worry as much about getting pregnant or ever having any children. But yes, people should definitely do extended research before having any elective surgery, as there's generally always risks.
To be honest, I’m glad I did this surgery. I’m not wanting more children I already have 4. The sooner I go through menopause even if I suffer, I’m sick of periods
I regret getting my tubal ligation done i had clips. Done on me 13 years ago and everything u describe i had almost every symptoms. When i talked to my doctor about it all she said everything was fine even though i know it wasn't with me i wish a doctor would have sat and talked to me about all the facts i wouldn't have gotten it done
I had a tubal several years ago. I did develop a lot of problems and had a complete hysterectomy 2 years ago. I wish I had known this information before going through all the problems my body has endured over the last several years. I also have hypothyroidism. I will go watch your video on that next. Ooooohhhhh ggggaaaawwwwdddd I totally get this. My Dr. laughed at me everytime I questioned him on it, I was forced to wait until menopause for hormonal therapy, my brain slowly started to calm down and wake up when Peru-menopause began (I'm now 63).
I've had mines done 10 yrs ago no issues, I did get adrenal fatigue because I had 3 c sections and any form of stress in the body is harsh, but I do fasting and take care myself and am doing well now losing weight ,lots of energy. Everyone is different I guess my mom had hers done 20 yrs later hers were undone because she gained weight and got pregnant, had a normal pregnancy
I have been experiencing post tubal ligation syndrome for 18 months.Its terrible. And now I am currently seeking restoration at an Endocrinologist reproductive/fertility doctor to see if it is possible for my tubes to be untied. Otherwise,I will probably have to have hormone therapy. Sorry for those 15% affected. I've experienced 24 out of the 45 symptoms. I'll be 32 in May 2021. Thank you so much for this information. The symptoms started 1 month after the surgery. I will keep seeking help.
Naomi May what is your birthday? I will be 33 May 3rd 2022 and I will be getting my tubes tied real soon don’t have a exact date yet but I’m looking up information as far as side effects etc so my husband and I are agree before we go through with this procedure!!!
Can you back up this claim with studies or statistics? The studies I've seen on the matter found that blood flow to the ovaries goes back to normal shortly after the surgery and there aren't any changes in hormone levels.

Hey, Dr. I got my tubes tied back in 2021… I had periods in the beginning, they started on right then they slowly started to slow down but the days was still right… just one day, it’ll bleed heavy but no clots… then the next days, it’ll b light or it’ll stop… then yesterday, I spotted one time but now it’s drier than a desert down there… could this means I’m going through post tubal ligation as well??

Bioidentical progesterone is what I am taking rn to keep my pregnancy safe due to the MTFHR gene I have. But every 3 days taking it, I’m so depressed. Then I get better. It doesn’t do well me at all. I planned to have my tubes tied and now I feel hopeless if it means going back on progesterone
Why would this information not be available to a woman 0:10 seeking the procedure ? They give you drug handouts with your meds so again not knowing this information you really aren’t informed enough to consent to this.

I was CS and BILATERAL TUBAL LIGATION after that I experience all the syndrome younentioned and ny problem now because I am almost 2months and half that late period of my menstraution. Hi Doctor what test can be taken that can show estrogen dominance and low progesterone? My gynecologist said there are no test for this. I’m sure there is! I’ve been experiencing these symptoms since 2016 I can’t live like this anymore. I want to get treatment. Thank you for helping.

Remove the clips they most likely cause the symptoms.

I have all these symptoms, but haven’t had my tubal yet. I did have a partial thyroidectomy though and take levothyroxine.

Isn't there side affects with taking these hormones? Is this only a problem for people taking the opposite gender hormones?
